My parents and I have entrusted our cars upkeep with Dan since his shop on Coolidge when he had just opened...1986 (around then)...never looked to anyone else. Always honest, trustworthy and gets to the point of the situation, doesn't do the quick fix!

I had a persistent check engine lite on my 2012 Ford Fiesta that was in the way of my smog test. I expected repairs would be around $600. I took it to Dan V and they suggested a simpler, less expensive repair. They said, try this, drive it a few days, and if it fails, bring it back for the more expensive repair. It never failed, I passed my smog test, and the repair cost $150, including an oil change.

This business is basically a tiny parking lot that is overflowing with junk cars. They don’t even have enough room to work on their cars and so often they work on their cars out on the street and will often park their cars overnight on random city/residential streets. Definitely sketchy…would not leave my car with them.

Great place. Lot looks full, but you just pull in like any other shop. Call ahead to schedule. The owner explains things clearly and simply. Made a point to educate in a positive fashion. I will definitely be coming back in the future. Obviously one of those places that prizes creating new and long lasting customers over temporary profit. The look of the shop reminds me of the small places where I grew up. Busy because they do good work and have a dedicated clientele. There is no better sign of a good mechanic.

Came after work and a little before they closed up the shop but they took me in for a car maintenance; nevertheless, Dan kept me in the loop and it was a smooth first-time experience. Definitely shady. I had one issue. I was constantly in and out of this place for a while and sank thousands of $$ trying to fix this one issue. Finally got fed up and took my car into a legit auto business who fixed my car fast, easily, and at a fraction of the cost. That’s when I realized the guys at Dan’s jerked me around for $$ since I didn’t have much car knowledge. That, or they didn’t really know what was wrong with my car themselves and tried a bunch of different things at my expense. Please stay away and seek better service. These guys are pretty rude too.

I took my car to Harry on May 3 2024 for same non drivability issues headlight bulbs taillights etc. There were a few lights on the dash cluster no engine warnings. Harry said I could get the car back in a few days it's been OVER A YEAR....He won't return texts wont answer the phone and if he does answer he swears the car is being worked on or will be ready the following week. He claimed he took the car to Weatherford BMW for a diagnosis so I called Weatherford they told me that the car had not been there in over 7 years. I called him he answered the phone and said he was on his way back from Weatherford with the car so I popped in on him...Got to the shop it was closed decided to spin the block where I find my car covered in Spider webs on a dead end street....it hadn't been moved in quite some time. I went back to the shop he was there by then, I asked him where was my car her said it was in his friends drive way...I FLASHED....I don't know what's going on with Harry but the lies and evasion is real.
