It was the first day of vacation we were 3 hrs away from the beach when something big rolled off a truck and we ran over it hard. We call Jason at Danny’s explaining our rims and tires were messed up and there was a looottt of oil that came out. Sadly for us it was messed up beyond repair (not worth the $$ it would cost to fix ) but the kindness honesty and timeliness given during this interaction was beyond 5 star service. Not many busineses would take a loss and explain it wasn’t worth fixing I would recommend this service to anyone not exaggerating

Brought my 1999 Landcruiser here for a timing belt change, a header replacement, and a general checkup. Safe to say it was no simple job. Jason took it on without batting an eye. He and his team ended up finding all of the areas that my other mechanic in NoLa (that I will no longer be going to) missed. It's also fair to point out that I agreed with them on all of the points they brought up. Bushings, links, radiator, etc. Jason ended up with such a larger job than expected, and still came through with flying colors. He also took time to find OEM parts, per my request, instead of using lesser quality aftermarket parts. In the end, my Landcruiser drives BETTER than when I bought it. I couldn't recommend Danny's Automotive more. If you live within any distance of this shop, or if you live in New Orleans and you're looking for a reputable mechanic, this is definitely worth the drive over. Will be taking my LC here for anything else it needs for as long as I'm in Louisana. Thank you again.

I trust Danny’s with everything from my work trucks to my weekend car. They can handle anything, including performance cars. They installed the suspension on my mustang pictured, and got the alignment perfect. As well as set me up with some tires. I am very picky with who works on my vehicles, and I hate getting robbed at a dealership. Danny’s does fantastic work for a great price

What a rare exceptional customer service experience my husband and I just had at Danny's Automotive. We were traveling from the East Coast back to TX and realized our front headlight went out while we stopped for food. We googled the closet auto repair and called Danny's right before closing time. They let us come in and replaced our light all within a few minutes. They were incredibly efficient and kind. I wish this shop was in our hometown. Highly recommend.

I have two vehicles that have been serviced by the team at Danny's and each time I received honest work and fair pricing. The cars were taken elsewhere before using Danny's and I was given quotes 3 times the price. YES, three times the price for the same work. Danny's team is not only fair, but competent and hard working. The cars were returned to me in a timely manner and the work lasted. There was no need for immediate reservicing because something was overlooked or went wrong afterwards with those repairs. The team speaks to you with respect and explains what needs to be done before doing it. They answered all of my questions. I left feeling my car was safe to drive and I had top notch service. I will use them again.

However, he made some adjustments and stayed within that original quote. The car drives great and handles just the way I want it to. I recently took my vehicle to Danny’s Automotive for an alignment, oil change, tune-up, and brake pad replacement. From start to finish, the service was excellent! The team was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. My car now drives smoother, brakes feel great, and I can tell the tune-up made a big difference in performance. They completed the work quickly and at a fair price. I highly recommend Danny’s Automotive for quality, honest, and dependable service! The job ending up being alot less expensive than the quote I was originally given. They even had refreshments in the waiting area,which made the experience very comfortable.

You won’t find a more honest and reasonable mechanic in St. Tammany! He diagnosed and repaired a 4+ year old problem (previously misdiagnosed by our local Volvo dealer) and went above and beyond trying to get the same Volvo dealer to support a new key fob. (They did not). Shout out to Jason-he works hard and makes it right for the customer.

One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I wasted 3 full days at this shop over a very specific issue — two broken bolts holding the ignition coils. After all that time, they didn’t even reach the area where those bolts are located. No access, no extraction, no real work done. Despite this, they suddenly started inventing additional repairs and then quoted $1,700. Any competent mechanic knows this job is at most 3–4 hours of labor, especially considering that the main problem was never addressed. The entire situation felt dishonest and extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the large number of positive reviews here feels very questionable. Based on what I personally observed, it appears customers may be encouraged or incentivized to leave positive reviews, because my actual experience was completely opposite of what’s written online. Total waste of time, money, and trust. Strongly not recommended.

Recently had my transmission go out and other issues. Jason quoted me the most reasonable price on the phone out of a dozen places called. The experience while there was exactly what you want from a mechanic. He told me this is what you need to do now, this is what needs done next and this is what can wait. He also let me know that doing certain services together would save me in labor costs. All in all I highly recommend giving Jason and his guys the opportunity to earn your business.

“Everybody wants their car fixed, but nobody wants to leave it long enough”. Jason and the boys in the shop have consistently taken great care of all of my vehicles. I was able to leave my daughters vehicle for a week in preparation for her trip to college and they put my mind at ease, were flexible with costs and essential repairs, all while answering any questions I had by providing video and text information. This included outside normal working hours and the weekend. I will continue supporting their business by taking all the POS cars I own for the TLC they need and trusting they’ll be good to go when the work is complete. Highly recommend!
