Very rude! Let me explain: I called last week about having my tires rotated and was told to come in at noon. When I arrived I was advised not to rotate my tires because I should have my best tires in the back. Typically this is true I know but my front tires were not too bad and I wanted to get more life from my 4 tires before purchasing new ones. I told him I would think about it and consider my options. Eventually, with some advice from my car nerd friends I decided to go ahead and rotate them anyways so I called back and he said "okay, you really should have your best tires in back but we'll take your commission". Fair enough. I was told to come in at 12:30. When I arrived I went inside and the owner and I were standing about 5 feet apart with his glossy counter spanning the distance. No hello, no welcome back just, "can I see your keys?" So I placed them on the counter and slid them casually over to him responding efficiently to his request and he proceeded to lecture and admonish me for "THROWING" my keys. I am not anything if not polite. I have a good reputation among my friends for etiquette and good behavior. I read the room and responded to his request in a casual way like his greeting, or lack of one, suggested. I was not rude or disrespectful in the slightest. I tried to apologize for the misunderstanding and explain I meant no disrespect yet he continued to lecture me so I told him I should maybe go somewhere else and he said fine and gave me back my keys. Regardless of how it was received, it is not his place to lecture a customer. I would have liked to give them my business but I will not be insulted and lectured for doing something entirely reasonable and well intentioned. I have chosen my words very carefully for this review prioritizing accuracy. There is no emblishment. Update: I ended up taking my vehicle to the dealership. it cost $10 more but included an mpi and they washed my car. They did not caution me against rotation like Dastgah did. They said my front tires were in the yellow range aprox 50% but had more life and I am very pleased with the result. My car feels better to drive and I'm glad I was able to get an inspection in the process. I'll now get another 15 - 20k miles before I need to buy new tires. I should have gone to the dealership in the beginning, it would have saved me time and all the drama I experienced at Dastgah.

This was my first time here and I went to get a new tire. Got to meet Randy that works in the front (he also turned the AC on because I was waiting there for my car) that was nice of him, Josh who is one of the mechanics (and who went to pick up my new tire), and Mo who is the manager or owner alongside his brother. He happened to have popped in as I was there waiting. Great people, great customer service, got to hang out and talk with them especially with Mo while waiting for my car to be ready. This may be my place to go to maintain my car just because of the service that I got. After chatting with these fellas, I felt the positive vibes and who wouldn’t wna go back to a place like that? Plus it’s not too far from my house. I would recommend these guys to anyone. I only went to get a new tire but they said they do it all and I left happy. Go check them out and see what they’re about, I guarantee you’ll see what I saw. Keep up the great work guys! Thank You for starting my day off right and it was blessing to meet you guys!

I showed up at opening for them to look at a slow leak. I had to either wait or come back half an hour later for the compressor tank to charge for the lifts (lesson learned for the future). When I returned, they had me in and out within half an hour to remove a screw and patch my tire. I'd previously bought a full set of tires here a few months ago. They didn't have to exact tires I wanted, but in explaining that I wanted the same rating and performance for my hot hatch, Ali hooked me up with excellent tires from another brand. I had a bad experience from another name brand shop where the salesman swore I'd be happy with his recommendation and the tires were horrible performance and drive wise, so I'm glad Ali hooked me up properly.

I moved to the Bay Area 25 years ago. In my first 5 years here I struggled to find a mechanic shop I could rely on and trust. Since we found Dastgah Firestone and met Ali for the first time we have never taken our cars to another shop. And we don't intend to. Ali, Mo, Josh, Randy, and all the team at Dastgah do impeccable, honest work. When you walk in to the shop, you know you'll be listened to and cared for. The solutions will be explained with detail and you'll leave with a clear understanding of what needs to be done. I know that when my wife or daughter take a vehicle to Dastgah that they will be taken care of and given honest estimates and advice. No matter who you are, you are treated with respect the moment you walk through the front door. One of the things I appreciate the most is the long term advice I get at each visit. No matter what I brought my car in for, I know the next milestones in terms of service and maintenance. When I'm on a budget, Ali and Mo help me prioritize the work and advise me of safe timelines to get the work done. Whether you want an oil change, you've got a flat tire, or your vehicle is making some kind of mystery sound Ali, Mo, and the team can handle it. I can't recommend this shop and these professionals enough.

I needed an alignment, I called these guys at 330 to find out they close at 4 pm. The person on the phone told me to come in and that they would work on my alignment for me. Really nice guy at who handled my call and was really cool when I pulled into the lot. They had me in and out within 30 minutes.

Got alignment here. After picking up my car and driving it, my car still had the same problem of pulling to the right. Also, my tire went flat after 1 1/2 days later. I think that was related to their service. Not happy with them!!!! Later i took my car to America’s Tire on El Camino near route 237. Got two new tires and patched the flat tire. Problem of pulling to the right is much better now.

I can not praise Dastgah Tire enough for their excellent service. I have been using their shop for years and every time their service has gone above and beyond. They have always been courteous, honest and trustworthy. Recently I went in for an oil change and to change my air filters. While they were working, they noticed a coolant pipe had broken. Rather than just replace the broken pipe, they went steps further to look at other parts that were in some way connected to this pipe. It seems other components of the car's cooling system were malfunctioning or on the verge of breaking. Based on the age of the car (and the age of all the other original components of the cooling system), they determined I needed to replace other parts of the cooling system. I am so grateful -- had they not been so conscientious, I might have had a serious breakdown on the road and/or ruined my engine...and this was just before my planned trip to LA.

I went here for a tire balancing and they tried to upsell me an unnecessary battery. They said that the battery died three times and needed to be replaced. I kept the existing battery but purchased a new battery from Costco just in case. When, now it's been over 9 months and we'd have zero issues with our battery. The battery is older, and I suspect that's why they tried the upsell strategy. In any case, they seemed to have been lying through their teeth. I just don't see how the battery coincidently dies three times in the shop (when we had zero issues before), and yet we have zero issues with it after 9 months of continues use. Seems very sketch. Thanks to these "pros", I wasted money on a new battery that's been sitting in my garage for 9 months. Very shady business practices.

Such an amazing, quick, and friendly service with a good price. My tire deflated and needs to be replaced. I found out right before getting on freeway to drive to LA. I have to make my trip tonight and thought it would be impossible to find a place to finish replacement. But Dastgah tire did an amazing job. They made the arrangement to make sure I get my tire within 30min, get the job done within 1 hr, and trying to be transparent about price. Would come again if I need another tire replacement

Been coming here since 2012. Two cars in that time. Transparent company. They really do the best in explaining and breaking down costs and their reasoning. They always get your agreement before working on the car. Anytime there's a new adjustment mid work they call you to confirm. I cannot say how fair the prices are as I'm not a car person. All i know is when I come pick up my car and drive off I'm good until next time and it's not too soon which is another reason I keep coming back.

Great team of mechanics & management! Over the weekend my low tire pressure light went off while driving on the freeway. I couldn’t tell what may have been the issue since none of them looked flat or low. I had stopped by Dastgah Tire Pros & Service after work and I was quickly assisted. The team had inspected the tire I assumed was the issue although they further assessed all four. Turns out I had two nails in the back; one on each side & the two in the front had 100miles left of life 😅 What seemed tragic was actually a good opportunity to get a brand new set of tires. I lucked out by getting a set of my preferred brand for my civic & the team was able to install all 4 tires before closing!!

This is hands down the best tire shop around — and it’s so much more than just tires! They truly are a one-stop shop. I originally went in for new tires, but I was impressed to see they also handle maintenance services and brakes. The team was professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell anything I didn’t need. I ended up getting my brakes serviced as well, and the work was done quickly and at a fair price. It’s hard to find a shop you can fully trust, but this is definitely one of them. Great customer service, quality work, and convenient to get everything done in one place. Highly recommend! 🚗🔧
