Alan and staff are exceptional. He was very thorough in his own inspection of issues with my vehicle, and was more than happy to take me to the garage and very meticulously show me what was good/bad and needed repair/would need repairs soon. He made sure I understood everything related to the issue, what causes the issue, his plan of action on fixing the issue, and the theory behind why and how his repairs would fix my issue. Can't say enough kind words about DEA. Highly recommend!

This is my second time bringing my Nissan Rogue to Alan. The first time he replaced my tires and brakes. He did a great job, no issues there. This time, I hit a curb turning left during that tornado warning and downpour a few weeks back. I blew my tire and the car pulled hard left after. From what I could diagnose myself (I'm not an auto mechanic), it was a bent control arm. So I bought the parts I needed to replace it myself. Turns out it's too complicated for me. I explained the situation to Alan and dropped off the car. Within a few hours, he gave me an estimate. I love the estimation and communication platform DEA uses. It allows me to see everything through SMS and respond as well. Alan showed me pictures of what needed to be replaced and why. He gave me an estimate to replace the tie rod. The control arm was fine. When people describe a tradesman as "honest," it rubs me the wrong way. Sure, honesty is important, but that should be the minimum expectation. Alan and his team are knowledgeable and passionate. They use a system that is transparent. Above all, they respect the customer. They forgave my ignorance in diagnosing the issue, looked at the symptoms, and gave me the proper recommendation. I trust DEA with my car. I know they'll always do high quality work with professional service.

I recently had a device removed at Dexter’s Automotive. After the service, I noticed the driver-side interior panel under the dashboard had not been properly reinstalled and wiring was left exposed. Shortly afterward, I discovered that the hood release cable inside the vehicle was no longer functioning. During a later service, another technician confirmed that the plastic connector on the hood latch cable had been broken. The hood latch was working prior to this service, and I was not informed of any damage when my vehicle was returned. The pricing for the service was reasonable, but the condition in which my vehicle was returned was concerning. I share this experience so others can make informed decisions and carefully inspect their vehicles after service. I hope this feedback is taken as a helpful reminder, though it may also be ignored — the facts speak for themselves.
