I've owned Volvo wagons for nearly 30 yrs. These guys are honest, reasonably priced and they know Volvo's. They let you know what needs to be fixed and what can wait. They present you with options if there are any. They have gone above and beyond numerous times to help me out. Living on the opposite side of town it's the not the easiest place for me to get to but it's worth it for the peace of mind knowing the job will be done right and at the best possible price.

Dennis is amazing! He saw me quickly after I had difficulty finding someone to work on my older car - he fixed everything in 24 hours and at 1/8th of the cost I was quoted at the dealership. I highly recommend his work!

I'm not sure of the customer experience from 6 years ago but I have been going to Dennis' Auto repair for a couple of years now. I haven't had the best luck with my car. But this is the work that was done over that time. New water pump, coils and spark plugs, radiator manifold and now an AC compressor. Each and every time the work was well done on time and reasonable. They always seem like they are busy and have a lot of repeat customers. Its so odd how opinions can be so varied! I will continue to be a repeat customer for a long time to come

My parents (who aren't from the Philly area) have owned multiple volvos and always had a hard time finding a good mechanic. I purchased my Volvo knowing I might run into the same problem. Lucky for me, I moved to Philadelphia and found Dennis. This guy is honest, has good prices and does good work. I keep telling my parents to take their cars here even though they live 2.5 hours away. Will be a return customer for as long as I live in the City.

Highly recommend this place. Spiro is a great mechanic and genuine person! After years of not having a car, I recently asked Spiro to troubleshoot something on a newly purchased used Saab that no one else was hearing. He solved it immediately and showed me what to get. Made my day!

Very polite very nice to me. Even when I call after business hours say 530-6, i will often get a return call. And that's helpful when I'm lost in the sauce not knowing wth is going on with my car. Spiro will walk me through what to do. I'm so glad I've found an honest person to take care of my car. Prices are fair and it's easily accessible right off of 95.

These guys are so great! I know its always going to be a quick and easy job when I bring my car in, and Dennis is very trustworthy and honest when it comes to pricing. He and his partner have always gone above and beyond for us, even walking a few blocks to our home to jump our car so we could avoid a tow to replace the battery.

My car broke down and I called around to see where I could take it. They did not answer but called me back an hour later and when I explained why I called them and no longer needed assistance I was sworn at and hung up on.

Have been wanting to write this review but have been to depressed,lost, and angry about this whole situation to form words. I went into get new rear brakes only to get a call from the owner an hour before they close that while trying to take out the old brakes they broke an important part of the car called the spindle/rh knuckle head. When he called to let me know all he said was he has to try and find the broken piece for it, not disclosing how serious this is or the cost. The next day I never got a call so I reached out and he tells me that he can’t find the part anywhere and I need to pick up my car and bring it somewhere else. He refused to fix a problem that occurred at his shop, refused to work with me (maybe he pays for the part and i pay for labor or vise versa) I had work the next day he refused to help with a rental. I had to get my car towed, pay for a rental for the rest of the week to get to and from work and I had to bring my car to the dealer to fix his mistake. I ended up have to pay over $2,000 for his mistake when all I needed was new brakes. He is not an honorable man and he should be ashamed.

Was a customer for years, but he scams people & started trying it with me after a while. My dad was a machanic, my grandfather owned a parts shop & I worked in auto shops for years, so I know a scammer when I see one. Took over 3 months to get inspection stickers & held my car for 3 weeks during the 2 drop offs. They've always been slow. My car had a engine code for the turbo, but before telling me what the code was, he implied I should replace the turbo and it's a big job. I asked what the code was and it was a bypass valve that likely just needed air blown through it to unclog it. Trying to upsell a turbo replacement was scam #1. I laughed, took my car back and told him let me know when you wanna unclog it. Scam #2 when I left the 1st pick up he charges me for the failed emissions test and tells it won't cost anything when I bring it back, this was a lie. Scam #3 before giving me the physical inspection stickers he tried to say he needs to check my suspension. I had just had him look at my suspension a few months prior and he said its fine and that I had time before I needed to replace it. The car has barely been used since then. Another attempt to upsell something I dont need. After I got my physical inspection stickers he said we need to settle up. I asked on what, he said the emissions test re-scam #2 I don't know if he forgets these conversations and interactions, but I don't. PPA ticketed me outside of his shop while he was playing these games. He should be paying for it atp. So yeah, now you got me writing a review like a Karen. He should know this is coming. I told him to his face that he's a dishonest person.
