I’ve been here several times and the guys here are always friendly and helpful. I haven’t had anyone try to push me into buy tires. The store is super clean and service fast and efficient. Today’s visit I had all 4 tires replaced and I just wanted to give a shout out to Jorge for giving me excellent customer service!

The customer service team is excellent, and the shop is very clean and welcoming. I called ahead, and a young man named Williams answered the phone. He was incredibly helpful and addressed my request promptly. Fifteen minutes later, I arrived at the shop, and Young man named Valente he immediately began working on my car, which needed new tires and a sensor.

Has to be the worst discount tire I’ve ever been to. Every time I take my vehicle in there, they do not repair the tire correctly even on a rotation and balance. I always leave with my tire going flat took a vehicle there today nail center of tire the guy wouldn’t even try he said dry rot. They would tear the tire if they touched it. I asked him to give it a try he wouldn’t do it and just try to sell me tires. They have lost a customer.

Nice facility, friendly staff greeted me at the door. Took care of me quickly. Hopefully wait is not to long, one of my tires has a slow leak. Lots of room social distance and seats inside and outside. Easy access and lots of parking.

These guys know their stuff!! They helped me find the correct tires that I needed for my trailer. I had preordered tires from there not realizing that I bought the wrong ply. As soon as they looked at my trailer they looked up the specs for the fifthwheel I have and told me that for the weight of the trailer I would need 16 ply and not 10. If I had went to any other local tire shop they would of probably put the tires on and said nothing, but not these guys. Not only did I get the tires that I needed, they saved me money and I was able to get the spare tire to match the other tires for the same original price I paid for the ones I ordered! so that was a bonus!! I will definitely be coming back for sure!!

Stay far away from this location. My tires where not balanced right and it took 3 hours for them align my truck come to find out that they sent me off with it right when they were closing and for me to find out my truck was worse off in alignment then before. The manager then told me he will give me the alignment for free.. which was so nice of him cause it was never aligned properly. And this was after he was yelling at me cause I complained about the service. Management and techs at this location are a joke. I brought it to another discount in League City and they could not believe how out of alignment it was and apologized for how the this location was. Later to find out that the league city location fixes a lot of this locations problems.

Quick, efficient service. Woke up at a hotel with a flat tire, hours before scheduled to get on a cruise. Told the staff and they worked to get us in and out within 45-60 minutes, with 4 new tires. Made it to our cruise port right on time.

They are not in the business to help with small issues like a nail in a tire. They will find anything to try and sell you a new tire when you don’t need it. They refused to fix my tire after they dismounted it. And said I needed a new tire only because the tire had another patch from somewhere else. And said that that they could not fix due to it having a patch from somewhere else, they rather me go down the road with a leaking tire than fixing it, just because I refuse to buy a new tire from them

This was my first time at the shop. I love the app, their staff, and overall service. The service is fast and high quality, the staff is friendly and nice. However, I went with the plan of changing my front tires based on the history of my car. I requested that at the front desk and they accepted right away. Minutes later I received my car with the new tires at the back without explanation or whatsoever. When I came inside the staff explained me carefully that for safety issues the new tires have to be in the back and instead they rotated the ones at the front. The staff recommended me to actually change all the tires, specially if I am having an upcoming long trip. Although I did appreciate the explanation and consideration by doing the safest procedures, I don't understand why the didn't explain me the same during my check-in and after hearing my request. That would give the opportunity to evaluate the options, consult with my family and reconsider changing all the tires. At the end I feel I was not taking into consideration during the decision making of my own car.

Rolando was great! Greeted us while we were still in line, checked us in, then offered us a seat and a cold water. Even though the place was packed, we only sat for 5 minutes or less. I got all new tires, done in 30 minutes. The do offer a military discount, so dont forget to ask! My car drives like a dream for under $500. GO SUPPORT The Coffee Connection while you wait! Valente’s personable, kind, and professional approach was an immense help when I was looking for new tires. He was sure to help me find tires that were within my price range and explained the necessary information behind them with ease. I waited less than an hour for my new tires to be installed (I was prepared to stay longer!) but noticed that Valente was quick to greet every individual who walked into the location with a smile and assurance that they would be helped immediately, and thanked them for being there. As long as Valente is here, I’ll be returning for any and all of my tire needs!

Beware of this shop! They are compulsive liars. I went to this place to have my 2008 Toyota RAV4 Limited aligned. I was surprised at how quickly they served me and "aligned" my car. When they gave it back to me, they told me the first lie: "that it was already well aligned." I asked about the rear camber, which I could still see was negative, and they told me they couldn't do anything about it because it wasn't adjustable, and they added a second lie: "they could only align it 'properly' at the front." I tested it on the road and, although it didn't veer off course when I let go of the steering wheel, the steering wheel was not properly centered. Not satisfied with that alignment, I decided to take it to a Toyota dealer and, to my surprise, except for the driver's wheel, all the others were misaligned and all the parameters were in the red. They told me that in order to align it properly, they would have to replace several parts with others that would allow for adjustment, and they gave me several options. I decided to go back to Discount Tire and complain about them lying to me. They told me to buy the parts and they would install and align them for free as an apology and because I had a warranty. I bought the parts and went back to the store. They then told me that they didn't have the necessary tools to install them and could only align the car. I changed the appointment to the afternoon and changed the parts myself, but, already distrustful of them, I made the adjustments myself as best I could and left marks that would allow me to know if they had really done anything to the car. I took it back for the fourth time, and they gave it back to me in about half an hour, telling me it was ready. I asked if they had aligned it completely, and they said yes. I asked them to print out the measurements, and again, almost everything was in red. They immediately began to justify that it was the best they could do, and in conclusion, when I checked the car, THEY HAD NOT ADJUSTED ANYTHING AT ALL. Everything was exactly as I had handed it over to them. They didn't even tighten a locknut that I had left loose on purpose. The steering wheel is still off-center, and now it pulls to either side of the road except straight ahead.

Discount Tire wins my business again. New tires, wheels, and free pressure sensors. Seems the Ford style I had are attached to the wheel. Wasn't discussed til new tires were all on. Before I could pay for the install of new sensors, a different manager popped up to apologize and cover the cost. Customer service that keeps me coming back.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but after what I experienced Discount Tire has lost my business for good. While rotating my tires, the technician damaged several of my lug nuts, then immediately tried to upsell me on a full set of replacements, claiming they were all unsafe and needed to be changed. Upon confronting the technician about the issue, he responded aggressively by yanking the lug nut out of my hand. When I requested to speak with the manager, the technician walked away and stated that the manager was at lunch and that he would handle the matter himself. The way it was handled was deliberately deceptive—The damage appears to be caused on purpose to create a sale. That kind of practice is, unethical and, at worst, criminal. I won’t be returning to the (9650 Emmett F Lowry Expy, Texas City) location.
