I have purchased multiple sets of tires for multiple sets of vehicles over the years of discount tire. I've noticed in the last two years the lack of quality in rotating and balancing the tires. The last three times alone I've had my tires rotated and balanced only to be back there within the week to say my tires are off. I was hauling a trailer put 5,000 miles on this time and I go to have my rears checked elsewhere and it they were off two and a half ounces on one side and 2 oz on the other. I don't recommend anyone having their tires rotated on balance there due to the fall off in quality of workmanship

I bought tires here for several years, for several vehicles. The prices are competitive with other shops. But I've been having more and more bad experiences with their service. I'm not sure the kids they hire to work actually know what they are doing and I've had one experience in which they told me my car was broken and not safe to drive because the wheel studs were all spinning. When I come back in to have my car towed, they rushed outside, handed me the keys and said everything was fine. I spent a half hour trying to get to the bottom of what was going on. Never did get a straight answer and they were clearly acting shady trying to cover up whatever mistake they had made.

Drive the extra miles if you have to anything to avoid the manager (Art) on Eider.

This is my second time getting a full set of tires on a vehicle with DT. Third location I have visited and customer service was 5 stars here as well. They even got done early and accommodated my situation as I also had my dog with me. I got a screw in my tire and thought well, it's time for new tires anyway. The man that helped us was incredibly helpful, gave us a good estimate of when the vehicle would be ready and didnt take up too much of our time as we did most of the intake online. Came in to buy some tires and leave to go because I have a buddy that can mount and balance for me for free. Painless and easy process although they seemed a bit confused for a second after I declined the install and balance as well as the tire certificates. It worked out because they're always busy and I don't have time to wait around with a newborn at home, price went down from almost $1,000 to $744 just for tires and out the door with no extras they offer.

I’m absolutely stunned by the level of negligence and lack of accountability at Discount Tire. I recently purchased a full set of new tires, and not even 24 hours later I discovered that one of them had been mounted backwards—on a directional tire. For anyone who doesn’t know, that isn’t just a small mistake. It completely changes how the tire channels water and grips the road. It’s a potentially life-threatening hazard that could cause hydroplaning, blowouts, or loss of control at highway speeds. In my case it vibrated badly at highway speeds. So I took the car to the closest Discount Tire location expecting at minimum an apology and an immediate correction, given the seriousness of the error. Instead, I got a dismissive “Let’s get you checked in,” followed by being told it would be three hours to remount a single tire the right way. Three hours to fix a mistake they made—one that puts me and everyone on the road at risk. For context, the original store mounted all four tires in about 15 minutes. At the time I thought that was fast. Now I realize it was rushed, careless, and clearly lacking basic attention to detail. If they can’t be bothered to mount a directional tire correctly, what else are they overlooking? Tires are the only part of the car that actually touch the road. There is no room for sloppiness, and certainly no excuse for ignoring a dangerous mistake. Discount Tire didn’t just inconvenience me—they compromised my safety. I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend that anyone who values their life, their vehicle, or their time look elsewhere. And as a final note: the clerk I interacted with could benefit from major customer service training. When your business is the one making the error, the last thing a customer should encounter is attitude or indifference. It was unprofessional, unhelpful, and absolutely the wrong tone for a situation caused entirely by their own negligence.

Called site to check if I could get in for warrantied tire rotation. Was told ya we are free come on in. I get there 15 min later am told there will be a 1 3/4 wait. I say that's fine. Nearly two hours of waiting I'm approached by team member telling me they are gonna be much longer before they can get to it. I had just been looking around realizing they had been helping other walk ins since I came in. I was informed that I was welcomed to schedule an appointment for another day.

I brought my Honda Pilot to this location on 12/26/25 for a simple puncture repair. Unfortunately, after getting home and inspecting the vehicle in proper lighting, I noticed visible chipping and marring around the wheel lug seat areas that was not present before the visit. Some of the damage goes down to bare aluminum, which raises concern about long-term corrosion and deterioration, not just appearance. I did not return to argue responsibility in person, but I am disappointed by the lack of care taken with OEM wheels. Upon closer inspection, I noticed similar damage on other wheels that have previously been serviced at this location. I take good care of my vehicle and try to keep it in near-new condition, so this experience was discouraging. I am sharing this review to encourage more careful handling of customers’ wheels and to help others make informed decisions.
