Service terrible waited 4 hour for a tire rotation. I have warranty and maintenance for life. After the 4hours wait come to find out there is bad tire.. they let cash deal flow through.. better service is needed.

Can't balance tires! I'm back for the 3rd time after getting new tires here. Didn't have a problem with my car until they changed my tires. It shakes in the steering wheel since then. I think I'm done with Discount Tire for good

Nick was the agent that helped me with getting my Michelin tires. Excellent service by him. There was 1 issue they did not clean the tire, the tire look like it was used it was so dirty, it was late and I didn't see the tires till the next day, I had to go back.

I've been a regular customer and never had an issue with discount tire. I just wanted to say the customer facing employees put up with a lot of BS and they don't deserve it. Every time I'm there, there's at least one person throwing a fit and yelling at them.

the staff is friendly and welcoming, prices are fair and when I had a tire blowout (MI roads) they were the only place to have my tire size for the Prius. lastly, I like to support them since they offer free tire patching if the damage is in the middle of the thread.

This place preys on little old grandmas! Shame in them! My 85 yr old mother went to get air in her tires. they couldn't take off the valve caps so they told her she needed new stems, then they scammed her into buying 4 new tires for $800. She literally drives a 1/4 mile to church each week. Thats all, no freeway driving. Her old tires had full tread and only needed new stems. They saw this sweet little senior citizen and took advantage of her. I can't be upset at her for being trusting but I can blame this store for their disgusting practice of pushing unnecessary sales. This isn't the first time this store tried to force unnecessary sales, I had a wobble in one of my wheels, they tried to tell me I needed 4 new rims and tried to sell me aftermarket rims. I drove up to Belle Tire and they balanced my wheel and wobble was gone. Stay away from this discount tire location, they will scam you!

This location is terrible. The appointment was at 8:45AM, didn’t get checked in until 15 minutes before an hour after standing in a long line. What makes it worse is two customers proceeded to cut in line and got checked in just because they didn’t want to stand that long as they kept complaining. An employee named John then proceeded to say that people with appointments usually goes to the other register. This was not explained beforehand as I would’ve easily went to the other line. After checking in the estimated time for completion was said to be 10:11AM. However my vehicle sat until after the completion time and wasn’t completed until 11:00AM. There was a gentleman that had been there since 7:59AM and didn’t leave until 10:30AM. Will not be returning here for anything.

I'm literally sitting in the parking lot writing this review because I am so thankful for these guys. My car had been driving with a strange vibration and I had suspected the tires. They found a huge safety issue with my wheels and were not only able to fix it, but they didn't even charge me for it! This location has an amazingly skilled crew and they genuinely care!

Salesman are alright. Techs seem lacking. Went and bought 2 tires. They scratched both wheels around the lug nuts. ( Not huge deal but still). And put the wheel weights on crooked and not strait. (Still balanced again not huge deal). Went back and couple weeks later to get the other 2 tires. Explained my minimal concerns to salesman. He was cool about it and made notes for the techs to be careful about scratching and to rebalance and straiten out wheel weights. Got the car back. Wheel weights not touched and still misaligned. Didn't scratch around the lugs. Instead I have a nice long scratch around the outside of one wheel from mounting tire. I just left. I didnt have time or patience to let them take the car back then. These might seem superficial to some. But the wheels were practically new and in perfect condition. Edit: also found out one of the tires they put on didn't match the other 3. Took it up there and got the correct tire put on. Next day I found wheel weights in my driveway. Checked and found out all the weights came off on the front 2 wheels. And the rear wheels are missing about half. The ones still on I can easily remove with my fingertip. So now I will need to go back for a 4th time to get all my tires rebalanced. Thinking I'll try the one in Troy. The only reason they get 2 stars is the managers seem decent enough. They probably deserve 1 star

I've been going to Discount tire for years. I stopped on Saturday 11/1/2025 to have just 2 tires mounted at around 10:15am. Sean, the service tech told me they might be done at 12:18pm. So I went on with my next errand while they did the job. I've always received a text when my wheels or vehicle were completed and ready to be picked up. Not this time, so I figured maybe they were busy and I patiently waited at home. 2 more hours later I still never received a message to pick my wheels up. So I called, and he said "oh, ya, there done." I figured it was just a computer or tech mistake, no big deal.. but them I got the wheels home and noticed they never balanced them. The old weights were still on the rims and one of them was just dangling and barely hanging on. So I had to load the wheels back up a 2nd time and drive them back to have them balance them. The amount of time wasted in my day because of just bad service for something so simple will be why I no longer use Discount tire. 5 hours total, 3 of those hours were due to the mistakes by them.

I too had an appointment at 11/1/25. But for me everything went exceptionally well. The customer service for me was excellent. Very socialable and understanding. They replaced all my tires and torqued them correctly. No issues so far. Will update this review if any unexpected issues arrive.

The last 3 months have been especially tough on me (un-employed doing gig work) and today that was compounded by blowing another tire (blew one yesterday and now this is the spare donut). Needless to say, I was not very happy with my situation and to make matters worse I had already ordered a replacement tire this morning (20 miles west of Center Line) to get put on this Thursday. I limped the car (2 miles) to this Discount Tire and explained my situation to both Nicholas and the OD Manager Adam, they were both exemplary in response, understanding, and thoroughly explaining my options. I won't get into anymore detail as I'm sure you stopped reading at "gig work" lol but if not, please take this piece of advice, in a world full of selfishness and near-sighted thoughts, be more like Adam and Nick. Nicholas and team went above and beyond. Needed 17 inch tires and they only had 19 inch. They had another store bring the tires to their store on a Saturday right before closing. That is great customer service and why I have used Discount Tire in all the states I have lived in!

Made appointment to have 4 tires installed. Was quoted an hour. Been here now for 2.5 hours. Customer service is trash. You ask a question, you're given vague answers. Over 2.5 hours for 4 tires? Yall better close that branch down. Unacceptable.

One thing I will say is I had to upgrade my tires after buying them online even though I went through the correct prompts because online it didn’t give me the option ugh 😩 but it’s all good it was only $17 more per tire

Better service than C***** or B**** T***. The job was completed when promised and the price was right. Minus one star because a TPMS / valve stem was improperly installed, resulting in a leak and return visit. Sean is always great to work with. Usually very busy, so be sure to schedule an appointment. Note that it's helpful to look online at the Discount Tire website in advance to understand your options, prices, and what's in stock. They just do tires, so you won't have to deal with the upsell for services you may or may not need, as is the case with some competitors.

I'm putting 5 stars for the service even though the tires I bought were sold at the same time to another customer at the same time leading to an awkward situation when my vehicle was on the lift. Those were Continentals and they offered to put on the other tires I was choosing between (Michelin) which were a few hundred more for the original price. I appreciate that they maintained the same price and integrity on the mix up. I got 4 new tires. Nick was very helpful through the whole process answering all my questions. They also let me check the brake pad wear really quick while they had it on the lift. I think they stayed late to get my vehicle done as I came late Saturday afternoon and really needed tires asap. I waited in the lobby, but they send texts to keep you up to date. They were ahead of schedule based on the original time. So a little mix up but the service was great all around. I'll be back 😊. I'm local to this location (11 mile and Van Dyke)
