Subject: Poor Service Experience – Tire and Sensor Installation Dear [Store Manager/Customer Service], My husband recently visited your location a few weeks ago to have a new set of tires balanced and a sensor installed. While the tires were completed and we paid in full for the service, we later discovered that the sensor had not actually been installed. We had to return a week later to have that issue corrected. Afterward, we noticed that the vehicle still had a shaking issue while driving. Upon further inspection, we learned that the shop had installed mismatched tires — three of one brand and one of another. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially since the tires were supposed to be a matching set. In addition, the tires had not been properly balanced, which explained the shaking. We spoke with the assistant manager today, and although we received an apology, no compensation, discount, or offer for future service was provided. Given the inconvenience, multiple visits, and poor workmanship, we are very dissatisfied and will not be returning to this location. We wanted to make you aware of this experience in hopes that future customers do not encounter similar issues.

I made an appointment and they got me in right away and gave me a choice to pay first or after work is done. I paid right away. Tires were done in around 30-40 minutes. Good timing. They explained whether I needed an alignment. They also priced matched prices of tires to Walmarts price. I highly recommend Discount Tires for reasonably priced tires.

Simply the best service. My tech, Trey discussed tire options with me and worked hard to get me the best price possible. I had to order a 5th tire (spare), and it came in the same day. Trey called to let me know, even though I was unable to respond the first day. I came back the next morning, and the service was prompt and professional. I have been to other places for tires, but none of them approaches the level of service of Discount Tire. Thank you!

My Michelin tires only had 33,000 miles with 4/32 tread left. 60,000 mile warranty. After getting no good feedback Chuck stepped in and took the time to investigate, resulting in making the warranty good. Thank you Chuck for outstanding customer service! I had receipts and proof of tire rotation every 5000 miles.

I think my favorite part was watching the teamwork and the amazing service. I overheard about it being their busiest day this week and every team member was kind, gracious and calm. Watching them work as a team, finish as a team and continously support each other is not something to see. There was not one person who wasnt supporting in any which way. Amazing management.

Came to get tires I put on that I had ordered and everything went smooth until they went to install my tires. I noticed my truck was shacking from what looked like hammering, and one of the counter guys went out to see what was happening. He peeks in to see if im inside but doesnt grab me. I walk outside and see they were struggling with one of my wheel locks. Turns out there key didn’t fit and needed to use mine. All is fine until the damaged my wheel lock key. I was handed the key and immediately knew they damaged it from it being rounded and the markings. When I went inside all the counter person could say was “ it was like that “ blatantly lying to my face. If they lie about something this small, I would worry about what else they try to get away with.

The only discount tire I go too!! These guys know what they are doing and always do a great job balancing and rotating my truck. The guys in the shop are fast and professional and the guys up front are always helping customers ASAP and do a fantastic job The whole team communicates very well

I show up to my appointment at 3:30pm being told my truck will be done at 4:30pm. I leave and come back and 4:30 to my truck still not being touched. I continued to wait another 30 minutes and still nothing. I had another appointment to attend to so I ended up taking my keys and leaving. When I took my keys they told me to come back the next day and they would take care of me. I show up the next day at 8am when they open hoping they would take care of this inconvenience. I sat there for 2.5 hours to my truck not being touched at all. I had other things to do that day (can’t sit there all day just waiting) that I ended up asking for my keys once again and getting a refund for what I paid for and taking my business elsewhere. The manager Chris even came out to approve the return and never expressed any concern of why I was getting a return and what the issue was.

I have been a loyal customer of Discount Tires for nearly 20 years. However, this is coming to an end. I made an appointment to have my tires rotated and after two hours, my truck remained in the parking lot waiting. I decided to take my keys and come back another day. At 5:45 pm I received a receipt from the store indicating that the work had been done. I’m so disappointed that we can not trust the employees.

If you bring in just wheels/tires to be installed or repaired that isn’t on the vehicle be forewarned they set those wheels outside of the store all day which could potentially get them stolen and also they sent me a notification that my wheels were ready for pickup only to find out that they did someone else’s order that went in after mine instead, I wasn’t to happy considering I drove all the way back to pick up my order that wasn’t even done lol BUT they do pretty good work.

So my husband brought my car in this morning because I had a flat and needed it patched or replaced. The associate said it couldn't be patched and the cheapest tire available that was closest to OEM was $198. He pushed and pushed and told my husband we will be back within a week to replace the other 3 due to tread wear (car only has 9,000 miles, parks only in the garage so should not need to be replaced). But very rude. Turns out the cheapest we found after the fact was $96 not $198. Ended up taking it to Walmart and got better quality tires and warranty for the other 3 and saved $150. Whoever that person was should be ashamed quilting older people into thinking they need things they dont all for sales. We have brought our last 3 cars to this location and they've always been great so something has changed.

Today I am waiting in line to get my tire pressure checked, and I am witnessing probably the slowest moving person on planet Earth besides Neil Armstrong when he was walking on the moon. These guys are great! Chris and the team really went out of thier way for my family and I on Christmas Eve. We had a screw in one of our tires. The truck is lifted, and the spare is a smaller size than the other tires and not very useful. We got to the store 10 minutes before they closed, and not only did they stay late to fix our tire, but they did so with a smile. My family and I are so grateful for the great service. This is why we buy all our tires at Discount Tire. Thank you!

Love the smell of new tires in the morning… as my luck would have it after only 9,600 miles (in only seven months) I noticed my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was pulling slightly to the right. I brought it into a Jeep dealership. The dealership quoted me $140.00 and said that they could beat Discount Tire’s price for a set of four Toyota A/T 3s. The same dealership who’s techs over inflated my tires and failed to rotate them during two oil changes. Needless to say that dealership is history. I came up with a game plan and went to the Discount Tire location in Surprise, AZ, and to my go to Assistant Manager Chuck Locke who recently provided us with his usual amazing customer service and ‘steered’ me to an amazing set of four Michelin Defenders for Mrs. V’s ‘23 Jeep Grand Cherokee a few months ago. After conducting my tire replacement recon, I decided on four Toyo A/T 3s 10 Ply LT285 70 R17s. As a ‘Pavement Prince’ these tires far exceeded my expectations in terms of aesthetics, ride, handling, road noise etc. as I drove it home. Chuck recommended ‘Brakes Plus’ located a few miles south on Bell Road for the front end alignment. He also provided me with a coupon for a $90 front end alignment thus saving me $50 v the dealership not to mention a 50 mile round trip. I can always count on Chuck to go above and beyond for me. Discount Tire was absolutely slammed this morning. I was in and out in less than an hour. The tires were perfectly inflated at 37 PSI v 41-42 @ the dealership. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Highly recommend Discount Tire at any one of their many locations throughout the valley!! And if you live in or near Surprise, I would highly recommend that you asked for Chuck!! PS- Discount Tire offers a discount to veterans, and offered an instant savings due to the Independence Day holiday!! Mark Voykin

I get tires constantly and this is The worst location to go to. Told me my truck would be done by 2:20. I go up and ask about it at 2:30 because it hadn’t moved and they said they didn’t have a vehicle under my name and then he said oh you’re looking at 3. My truck didn’t get pulled into a bay till 3:30. I watched multiple people who didn’t have appointments get done with the same type of job done well before me. Over all I waited 4 hours. Damian has the worst customer service every time. I watched him be rude to multiple customers. They get so offended when you don’t buy certificates for your tires. I will never go to this location again. I will drive out of my way to go to a different one.

Discount Tire is hands down the BEST. I accidentally hit a curb while turning and completely blew out the sidewall of my tire. I was stressed and expecting to be screwed for the evening but they got me in 15 mins before they closed. Their team was amazing. They got me in right away and had me back on the road in about 30 minutes with two brand new tires. Thank you so much for helping me after close. The staff was friendly, fast, and professional, and they made a frustrating situation so much easier. This level of customer service is hard to find these days. I love this place and will never go anywhere else for tires. Highly recommend!

Purchased full price on my tires and I received very poor service and quality of work. I was told it would take an hour and a half to service my truck and I ended up waiting close to 3 hours. As I waited patiently I seen several walk in customers having their vehicle serviced and leaving before me to the point that I was the last customer to leave at 7pm. Maybe if I was a different ethnicity I would have been serviced differently, how sad and petty. I witnessed the interactions with other customers and when the technician spoke with me he couldn’t even look me in the eyes. They have signs speaking of integrity but I didn’t see that on my last visit. I write this post now because of the poor quality of work I received. The weights on one of my rims are coming off and while I was inspecting underneath my truck the bolt that holds my shock absorber to my rear differential was missing. My shock absorber was just hanging! If you remove the tire you would clearly be able to see it. The technician said nothing to me about it except that I was missing a spare tire. Not sure how that happened but with what I seen and experience it makes me wonder. I will take my truck to this place again to have it corrected but if this type of customer service and quality of work continues I will go up the chain on this company so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Update: Changed my one star to a 5 star. Completely different experience than before. I spoke with Chuck regarding my previous experience and he apologized for it but assured me it will be corrected. He pulled my truck in himself and said he would have it looked at right away. My truck was serviced in less than a hour and I honestly felt it was in good hands with him. He assured me that he reviewed the work done on it and I truly believed him. Chuck Thank You for your great service and putting my faith back into your company! Bless you Sir!
