Sadly, I'll have to look for another auto shop after today's experience. Yes, they are friendly and yes, they gave me a $50 discount today, for which I made sure to express my gratitude. However, this was the second time I got my car back with missing parts after they had worked on it. And the service was incomplete. For one thing, tire rotation was part of their oil change service. They did not rotate the tires today and rationalized it with my tires being too "worn out." This was a first, never heard such an excuse before. Yet the receipt says "four tire rotation." Must've been that $50 discount coupon that shaped that decision, eh? We came home and measured the treads. My tires are two years old and have better treads than half of Arizona. They had to remove all the tires and put them back on, because they changed the front brakes and checked the rear brakes, which are drum brakes. But they told me they never touched the wheels, hmm. Upon pickup, I noticed that my balance weight had mysteriously disappeared from one of my rear tires. I asked where it was and they said it was never there. I explained it was very much there until I brought my vehicle to their shop this very morning. They said they wouldn't be able to find it in the garage (if you think they actually went in and looked for it. you are profoundly mistaken) and advised I go back to Discount Tire and tell them "it simply fell off." Hey guys, I have news for you. My time is just as valuable as yours, and Discount Tire doesn't operate for free just for the heck of it, either, even when people at a different car shop do a sloppy job and pay no attention. The first time I brought my vehicle to the North Civic Center location was about three years ago and, while they did a nice and very timely job preforming several services at a cheaper rate than another shop wanted to charge me, I soon found out that one of my fender liners was missing! I called them after the fact, of course, because I couldn't have imagined something like this was even possible. They said they had no idea what could have happened. I should've stopped using them then, but I figured, well, maybe someone else did this. Having used them a couple more times since, I now know they aren't consistent with their inspections, either. Six months ago, when I had my previous oil change, I was told by a semi-panicked technician that my front brakes and my rear shocks needed to be changed. I then told them, well, you guys changed these rear shocks a couple years ago and they had lasted me eight years previously, so what parts did you use to make them leak so soon? I didn't allow them to change the shocks or the front brakes then. Today, they changed the front brakes and mentioned absolutely nothing about leaking rear shocks after the inspection. I asked them, "Hey, last time you guys said so-and-so about the rear shocks. No issues today?" He just looked at me and said the technician didn't mention anything about the rear shocks. After they fixed the front brakes, they then wanted to do the back ones, too, to which I said "no, thank you." After all, the morning inspection prior to the oil change said nothing about the back brakes, and I am not thrilled with such sudden changes of mind. They also wanted to charge my boyfriend an astronomical amount for his Jeep's rear shocks several months ago, and he went and purchased the parts and changed them himself. Saved us over $800. I am disappointed to find out this is yet another place I can't really fully trust. I also had to tell them to turn the "maintenance required" light off today, which needed no reminder the last time. That's when I looked at my wheels and saw the balancing weight was gone. You don't just knock people's car's parts loose and tell them to go find new ones. Imagine someone doing this to you or your loved one. How would you feel about it then, huh?

They wanted to charge 205.00 for a Diagnostic and have me leave my vehicle! As a person on a fixed income, that was not an option . I went to a private owned place who fixed my issue immediately and for 20.00!!

I went in to get a tire repaired due to a screw in the tred that slowly leaked. Fair price and the staff got it done pretty quickly considering how busy it was. I did have an appointment, but I was a bit early. Staff was nice and accommodating. They had a waiting room with a TV so I didn't have to wait in the heat. Was pleased and will probably go back if I need repairs.

As a witness to see what had happened during that argument of the masked man and the shop crew, the guy in the mask came onto the business’s property and started a disturbance on the property yelling at all of the crew members making customers uncomfortable to be there. The shop crew did their best to get the masked man off the property being as respectful as they could be with this crazy masked person. I can say that this shop is one of the best shops around and I recommend taking your vehicles here to get them fixed. This “violent bald man” you talk about is one of the best workers I have ever met. He is super cool and very professional and always has the customers best interests in mind. I don’t know where these people are getting their information from?

Had an issue with my heater core on my 04 Silverado, called first and they gave me an estimate over the phone which was perfect, I accidentally went to Greulichs first and they wanted $500 more for the same job. Sun Devil was upfront with they’re estimates over the phone and explaining to me some extra costs that might occur because it’s an older truck and they estimated it to take a few days because they were busy with big projects which was understandable, they looked at it around noon Monday and by 4:30 it was done! I was more than happy with the work they did and the time they completed it. Will be my go to place for future needs!

Val and Gerson really did a great job taking care of me. I was already stressed about having to get 2 new tires unexpectedly that I didn't have the money for and Val went out of his way to make it happen for me so I could get the tires I needed on my car at an affordable price. After waiting 5 hours for a tow truck to drop my car off at Sun Devil Auto, [it arrived at the shop at 4:30pm] Val and his team were finally able to get my 2 tires on my car and even did my oil change in the little amount of time they had to change out the 2 tires before they closed at 6pm. They made my scrappy day better by getting my tires on quickly so that could actually drive home that night to be with and feed my dogs.
