Sent my daughter in here this past week because a tire was low. She had picked a nail up a few weeks ago and I had to put a plug in the same tire as it was after hours. She’s at school so I thought maybe she had picked up something else. As soon as she got there whoever she dealt with was trying to sell her new tires. The Continental’s that are on it have 35k and are regularly rotated (60k tire). Then he tells her after taking it in that they tried to patch it and it was still leaking so it needs replaced. She called me thankfully and I told her to have them put the full size spare on and I’d deal with it this weekend. She gets home and all 4 tires measure 7/32 ( I have a tread depth gauge) and the bad tire is leaking from the same plug I put in, obvious because it has road wear. They did NOTHING but attempt to sell tires. As many sets of tires as I have purchased in the last 20 years from Discount Tire, I’m highly disappointed they tried to take advantage of my daughter in this situation.

I had a wonderful experience at Discount Tire in College Station, Texas. From the moment I entered the store to the time I left, the service was exceptional. I came in because my front tire kept losing air. A young technician quickly inspected it, found the issue—a small screw—and repaired it on the spot. He even showed me the screw that had caused the problem. The sales assistant later informed me that my 2006 Mercury Marquis was ready and apologized for the brief wait. I thanked them and said, “God bless.” To my surprise, there was no charge for the repair. Discount Tire continues to be my go-to place for all tire needs. Their kindness, professionalism, and efficiency truly stand out.

These big chain Tire shops are becoming more and more lame, weak customer service just rude and dirty lobby’s that look like 3rd world countries. Dirty floors, no AC and expect you to understand all tire sizes and all. This particular location has zero customer service skills starting with the manager. Don’t recommend this shop in College station at all. Competition across the street got it done in 12 minutes without the 2 million questions and lame guidelines.

I was traveling and hit something. I showed up at 4:45…they close at 5. Very nice, courteous people. They had me back on the road within an hour. I’ve always had good luck with Discount and once again they did not fail me. They made a very stressful situation less so. They will always have my business.

I waited yesterday around between 12:00 and 1:00 to get air in my back tire the tech I didn't get his name said it was too dangerous because of the wires I needed enough to get to where I needed to go and he insisted I needed all four new tires I told him I didn't get approved for the credit I did the affirm it didn't get approved I left later by front tire which was good was deflated because he did something to it when I got in my car it was almost flat. I didn't have problems until I came to y'all's location. When somebody asks for air you need to do what they say. I am beyond upset and I will be contacting corporate I either want my tire fixed or that tech doesn't need his job!!! I am a single mother tried to make it, I refuse to get taken advantage of.

Jared is literally an angel sent from heaven. Jared stayed open late for us so we could get our back tire looked at since it sounded like something was in it. We pulled up about 5 minutes after they’d closed and he was happy to come out and take a gander at our tire! He did in fact find a nail in our tire and was happy to open the garage doors and fix the tire. What a man what a man what a mighty good man! Thanks Jared for grade A service! This is why we will ONLY choose Discount Tire!

I want to first state that I am a loyal discount tire customer and have them for more than 10+ years with all of our vehicles. Moved to college Station this past summer. My car was due for a tire rotation and I booked an appointment at this location last week. While it was crazy busy when I went, they completed the tire rotation in about an hour, which was fine. However, my review and rating is primarily due to my tire inflation. Three days later my low pressure sensor went off and when I checked the tire pressure on my tires, they were all below 20 psi—One of the tires was closer to 15 psi! I realize that my tires may have been low when I took my car in for a tire rotation, but would think they would check air pressure as part of the service, especially since they offer free air pressure check at this location. I’m not want to leave a bad review, but I was genuinely flabbergasted by this. All I can say is, I will be taking my car to a different location next time.

Logan was amazing. Costco told me that the tires have uneven wear and my alignment is off, meaning my warranty is probably affected. Logan did an inspection and saw nothing wrong. He even sent me the inspection report. I hope that’s enough to fight this, but I’m really happy with the service offered here.
