My son wanted to buy his first bmw, a friend recommended that I bring the new car into Dixon for an inspection before purchase. So glad we did! The vehicle had a couple of problems that needed to be corrected immediately, we purchased the car and brought it back to Dixon to have the work done. Work was excellent, done at a reasonable price, and really gave me confidence that we made a good decision on the car. Highly recommend these guys!

This is a terrible service. I had a problem with antifreeze leaking in the thermostat. In July, I contacted this service to replace the thermostat, so that there would be no leaks. After replacing the thermostat, the antifreeze continued to leak. I paid a lot of money to replace the thermostat, but this service did not provide me with all the necessary services and treated its work irresponsibly. I also wanted to get my money back, because I was not provided with the services, but this service refused to refund my money. I am very upset with this service.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I have known them for over 3 years, and I had many different services done by them - from buying new tires and oil changes to preventative rod bearing replacement. Never had an issue. Dont have to wait weeks or months to have an opening like some other places do. The guys are kind, honest, and professional. If you love your car but dont like breaking the bank for services, take it to Dixon Motorsports. They will make sure you are taken care of.

The team at Dixon is fantastic. Worked with Colby via phone over the course of a few days before my exhaust drop shipped to his shop. Once it arrived on Friday at 130p his team immediately started the install. By 530p that same day I was there to meet his team and drive away as one happy customer. I drive my cars pretty hard & track them quite a bit. With that being said I needed a reliable shop to help me out, I did my research & found Dixon Motorsports. I met Phil & the crew in 2019 when I dropped off my E36 M3 for an S54 swap ( They did a great job by the way with the swap ) In between the 6 year time window I have been going to Dixon Motorsports I have owned multiple BMW’s that were used on track & have used this shop for every single one of them. Every-time the service was outstanding! Also once in a huge Dilemma with my car they helped me out in a way I’ll never forget! I am a Customer for life here!

Got us in quickly and got the problem resolved within their quoted cost and in a timely fashion. They were great about allowing us to decide which things to fix ourselves and which things to have them do. They even got us the parts we needed to finish the portions of the repair that we could handle ourselves. I wish they had been more proactive in keeping us informed on the progress. We always had to call them to check on the status, but any delays were just acquiring parts from the dealer. Overall, very happy with their work.

Absolutely fantastic service from this shop. Colby was beyond stellar. A bit of background: I have an older ‘16 328i. I went over a raised sewer drain on a gravel road going about 5-10mph. Unfortunately, the underside caught it just right and severely damaged my subframe, along with extensive wiring damage. Took the car to Dixon for an assessment and was given a quote in short fashion. I filed an insurance claim with progressive. Colby and the appraiser worked harmoniously and had the car done in several days. When I picked it up, unfortunately I had another alert light come on. I took the car back, Colby fixed it right up and worked with insurance on a supplemental claim. He had the car finished in about 2 hours while I waited. Never had a shop turn around so quickly for wiring work. Within a few days, I noticed a grinding noise when turning the vehicle. Colby quickly assessed it again, offered me a loaner vehicle, and had mine back to me the next morning at open. Turns out, the subframe had shifted. Easy fix for this place. I would recommend this shop to my closest friends and family without hesitation. You will receive quality work, seamless communication, and honesty with respect to the diagnosis of the vehicle. 10/10 recommend. Don’t think, just go if you need vehicle work. Dixon motor sports is now my go-to shop! From start to finish the communication has been absolutely on point and the flexibility they have been able to provide has been outstanding. Recently had major repairs done on my 2006 bmw e60 m5 (rod bearings, infinity design header install, lowering spring install, thermostat, plugs, coil, control arms, full valvetronic exhaust install, and more!) From previous experiences with other shops being an absolute nightmare as an understatement Dixon Motorsports completed all my wants with ease! Working on such a delicate engine and allowing me to provide customer supplied parts along with them being a full service provider has been stellar, definitely not trusting anywhere but Dixon Motorsports for all of my future BMW wants and needs! Phil and his team performed open heart surgery on my car to turn it into the ride of my dreams. My 90k mile 2017 BMW 330i wagon (F31 with B48 engine and 8-speed DSG) got upgraded with a 2020 B58 engine (50k miles) and 6-speed manual. Tons of work involved, including sourcing and buying the donor car, upgrading brakes, replacing the axle and LSDs, adding a tuned (but not noisy) exhaust, bushings, programming, etc. Took about 10 days, less than expected, and came in right on budget. Drove the car home and amazingly, did not get any tickets. I'm thrilled with the work, and would recommend Phil and the team to anyone thinking about a similar upgrade. He said they've done 7 of these, and their experience shows in how smooth and clean the process was and how fantastic the outcome is. My car is so much more responsive now, and driving the manual makes it such an engaging drive. Wasn't cheap, but the investment was totally worth it.

Took my M240i in for an upgrade involving injectors, hpfp, lpfp, ethanol content analyzer, turbo kit and the whole nine yards. Not only were they very flexible with me, but the work was beyond top notch. Have had nightmares with other shops and wanted to try out Dixon. So glad I did. Spend the extra few hundred bucks (if that) instead of going anywhere else, so worth it. Literal BMW techs in house, super knowledgeable and don't have to worry about getting your car back with a 70% job done. Convinced not a better shop in Michigan. Will be taking the long trip personally from now on when I need work done on the M240i. Phil is a really cool dude along with the people up front.
