Very good service. Received same type of service as my last time at the Range Rover dealership. They are very open about recommended services and up front pricing without being pushing at all. Having been in the automotive business for many years, I would recommend DJ Foreign Auto to anyone needing service on their Foreign vehicle.

10/10 would recommend. Bought a used car one time that had a DJs sticker inside. Took it there to see what work they had done. Over the years I continued with there services cause they often cheaper than other shops and offer discounts for repeat customers. And if you have a European car these guys are definitely worth a look Car runs better now than when i bought it all even after thousands of miles all thanks to the awesome crew at DJs

First time visit to the shop for my Jaguar. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. I appreciated being brought back to the work area to further understand my vehicle inspection and potential future service needs.

Our alternator went out and we were able to drop our vehicle off the next day. Our final cost was almost exactly what we were quoted! Outstanding customer service. Knowledgable and transparent. Great communication and speedy repair. Brought our car Friday and got it back by Monday despite them being closed on the weekend. They even offered us a tow reimbursement if we have to have our car towed for any reason within the next year up to certain amount. Thank you Nick and everyone at DJ!

Enjoyed the experience. BMW quoted me more for one repair than they charged for three of mine. Bringing a nice care to a non-dealership can seem intimidating however they caught items during pre inspection that BMW did not (BMW performed an inspection the day before them) and had missed that my brake pads were wearing out. They also have a nice lounge area if you need to wait for your car. Will I take my cars here again? Absolutely.

Brought a Sprinter van here for a pre-purchase inspection. Staff was extremely knowledgeable regarding Mercedes diesels and the emissions warranty. I would definitely return here for another inspection or mechanical work on my van.

I will get oil changes done locally - but anything beyond that I only trust D & J. I have been bringing my cats to them for over 15 years! It’s rare to find an honest shop. Very knowledgeable and aware of what needs to be done and what can wait. I highly recommend them!

Darwin and the team were phenomenal. I am a BMW enthusiast. I like to work on my cars when I can but some projects require a shop and proper diagnostics. DJ’s is the place to go. They will identify exactly what’s needed, and they will give you an honest and transparent quote up front of parts and labor cost. They are very well priced, and talented. Michael was excellent to work with on the phone and had excellent customer service. I look forward to seeing them all again with my projects. This is absolutely now my go to shop after a couple great experiences with them.

DJ was my first auto to visit , so I was kind of skeptical at first. But Oh what a great experience it was. My car was worked on in a good timely fashion. They were honest about the bill and Michael was super friendly ! I would recommend this to anyone who got an European car and want some works done on it. Simply the best !

Had vehicle inspection (cost roughly $250) that took some time (1 week- agreeing beforehand that I wasn’t in a hurry) I felt to be extremely thorough looking over everything bumper to bumper. Decided on what needed attention first and gave ok to to fix with a comparable option that costs less for part. After 2nd week, car received replacement part but mechanic felt the ($7,000 car, needing $6,000 part) replacement part didn’t seem just right to his liking and said he would allow me to take car, if needed be, as it runs and functions- just not to his satisfaction. He still wants to locate a better solution to replace current part installed. I guess for me, the honesty, dedication, and willingness to go above anything i’d expected had me a little surprisingly grateful. To know, even being an older car really goes a long way in my book! Just don’t get that kind of care anymore, anywhere else.

Great visit. Your team could have easily replaced the lightbulbs that I thought weren’t burned out in the vehicle, but you knew I was comfortable changing them myself and saved me the charge -which is unheard of when it comes to any auto body. I have been coming here for years, and am always more than satisfied with their work and customer service e. As long as I’m driving an import, I will continue to use DJs!

We had some general work done on our sprinter van. First I will say I've never had a shop be so thorough with photographing and documenting all work needed as well as the general inspection. They kicked us over the car-fax after the matter. I mean this is our 9 year old 180k sprinter thats kinda beat up... so I am impressed. They were able to pull up warranty coverage and get some work needed refereed to Mercedes under warranty on top of work they were doing. They could have simply quoted us and not let us know what was still under warranty. Highly recommend simply off of being thorough and honest.

We were traveling across country and had an air conditioner problem. Called DJ’s and got in the next day. Friendly, reasonable prices and was advised to look into a warranty issue when returning home! Definitely recommend!!!

Thank you Darwin for looking out for me and providing a great service for a fair price. This was my first time in and I will be back for maintenance going forward. I can tell DJ’s values fairness and long term relationships over one time up charges.

These individuals are absolute crooks and scammers. They charged me $230 for a simple diagnostic, then insisted I purchase a new battery before they could perform “further diagnostics.” Instead of using a tester battery to start my car, they forced me to pay over $600 for a new battery—one I later learned I didn’t even need. The real issue was my alternator. They then quoted me $1,782 for an alternator replacement on my Jaguar, which is absurd. When I called the Jaguar dealership in Minnesota, I was told I could absolutely use aftermarket parts and just pay for labor. The alternator I found on Amazon costs only about $150, and even the same battery they sold me is available elsewhere for around $200. This shop preys on people who aren’t car-savvy, using intimidation and misinformation to overcharge customers. If you drive any kind of “foreign” car, avoid this place at all costs—they’ll claim your car is “rare” just to justify inflated prices. My final bill just to get my car back from these scammers was nearly $900, and that only covered the diagnostic and battery. You could get both from AutoZone for a fraction of that price.

I took my Audi Q7 in for excessive oil consumption issues. Ended up needing some major engine repair that required taking the engine out for a valvetrain repair. DJ Foreign Auto did a really good job walking me through the process and keeping me updated with pictures (Darwin the lead tech in particular was fantastic). Although it took longer than expected to complete the work, I am very happy with the results and the Audi has new life again. I will be coming back here for future service and would recommend this place particularly for your German car repairs and maintenance needs.

DJ’s is great. They made me feel at home from first encounter to the completed repairs. I have a 2004 BMW 325 CI with SMG transmission. I’ve had intermittent SMG reliability issues for some time but DJs was the first place to offer a comprehensive evaluation and service. Their work was top-notch and delivered at a fair price. The SMG is now working like new, even at -10 degrees this morning. I will definitely be going back for any and all needed service.

This shop plaid me like a a ball. I took my Jaguar XF to them for programming job after it wouldn't find it smart key. They charged me $750, after a month, the the key lost connection with the car again and I took it to them, they charged me another $750, got it programmed but after each of the programming, I noticed either one headlight start glitching or interior panel lights start acting funny. After about 2 weeks of the second programming, car lost connection again. They told me to bring it in that they will reprogram it, I took it in and they made it worse it doesn't even detect the light button that it did before it took it in, windows stuck down. Then they called me to come pick up my car saying it didn't work, no refund no nothing they won't even let me ask questions, As I tried to force ask questions, they told me vehemently that my car was going to be pushed out their shop with glass down and placed by the side of the road, which they actually did. Place like these should not be allowed to operate. This is a good example of a place I would say if you can't afford dealership prices and can't find any other dependable shop, sell the car cheap than to deal with individuals like these. My only option is to see what my lawyer think of this whole issue. Won't recommend to my enemy.
