Rongo's was extremely helpful and kind. My husband and I broke down a short ways from the shop and were lucky enough to roll into Rongo's. The situation went from a horrible turn of events to a simple hassle because of how helpful Rongo's was. I recommend Rongo's to anybody that would prefer to deal with genuinely "good people". If you want it done Righto go to Rongo’s! Rongo is my favorite mechanic I’ve ever had. As a woman I am often nervous when going into a repair shop but here I feel treated respectfully, honestly, and fairly. They always get my vehicle taken care of quickly and with full transparency and communication during the process. Rongo likes to make a point to show you exactly what was wrong with your vehicle and how they fixed it to help the costumer learn and understand their vehicle better. Can’t wait (but also, can) for the next thing on my junky van to go wrong so I can give these guys more business!

I’m confused and disappointed by my recent experience with Geme at Rongo’s. After my car was towed there, Geme initially communicated that he would look at it when he had time. He suspected a fuel pump issue but didn’t finish his diagnosis. Without consulting me, he said that he replaced the fuel pump and told me the cost was $325. I was surprised since I hadn’t authorized the repair and expressed that I would have appreciated a call before the work was done. Geme became upset, swore, and hung up on me twice. When I arrived to pick up my car, he was less combative but still unclear. He mentioned that he “fixed” the issue using my fuel pump and that a new one would cost $533. I told him that I was happy to pay the $325 and that we could go our separate ways, but he decided to only charge me $160 for towing and inspection, which I paid to avoid further conflict. This experience was drastically different from the professionalism I encountered in the fall, and I don’t understand why his behavior was so erratic. While I appreciate the reduced cost, being cussed at and hung up on was unacceptable. I will not return based on this experience.

Started using Rongo’s this past spring when I got a new truck and needed a few things done and they are in walking distance for me. They are pretty fast, prices are fair and I feel like they don’t push for work that isn’t needed. They let me supply my own parts and just charged for labor. I also really like that they let me have a look under the truck when it was up on the lift. Honest and hardworking little shop.

I highly recommended Rongo's! My car was in an accident and I was told to bring my car here for the mechanical repairs. I'm so glad I did! The price was right. They treated me with respect. They were quick with the repairs even though I have an older car and they had to look for parts. I will never go to another mechanic. Give them a try you will be happy you did!

Called to ask if oil changes are done there. They confirmed yes. I asked about standard pricing and was informed I would need to bring my car in to know the cost of an oil change. I asked again just to confirm all I wanted was an oil change and I was told they do not give that information over the phone.

I was on my way to the dealership to have them replace a rapidly failing alternator, and my car died as I was about to pass by Rongo's, so I pulled in. They got me in their garage on the same day, gave me a fair cost and showed me exactly where the money went in terms of parts, labor, etc. Considering how desperate my situation was, I was half-expecting them to squeeze every penny, but they were honest and treated me with respect. I don't expect to be in that situation again or that part of town, but if I am, I would definitely go back, and recommend them to anyone who lives near by. Thanks, guys! Great job!
