Walked in to get help and the guy at the front desk said he couldnt help me. It seemed to me that he was racist. He just didn't want to help so my advice is do not go there.

******DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE***** My friend had her laptop stolen out of the car when they were working on it. And the owner, Doug will not even discuss it with her! A police report has been filed. I pray that justice will be served and that whoever took it will do the right thing and return it!!!

Terrible people service, switched a filter out now my a/c makes a motor noise when it is on high. I went back, and all he did was he rude and say we’ll they can’t do much, but they’re a a/c repair spot???

I called to ask for a price to replace AC compressor . I already know that the AC compressor needs to be replaced . He assisted on charging to run diagnostics and charge a me a high rate . I already had diagnostics done I just needed a job done . He starts to ague with me why waste money when I already spent the money to know whats wrong just needed a job done overall poor customer service skills I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Doug's really pulled my family and I out of a pickle. We were heading out of Corpus, heading home from vacation, towing our RV when all of a sudden, the truck ran into issues. After calling six different auto shops and being told over and over that they couldn't get us in that day, Zach at Doug's squeezed us in. We were able to get towed to Doug's and have the truck repaired in what I believe was record time. They slid us in between other repairs, at the end of the day, and all without breaking the bank. Thanks Doug's, We owe you!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANY WORK! My friend's laptop was stolen when her vehicle was getting work done. As already stated, a police report has been filed! To the owner Doug and your employees - I will post any place I can and give the same negative reviews. Once my friend's laptop has been returned in perfect condition, I will fix my reviews. We have used Doug’s Automotive for a number of years. It is a very dependable shop and has reasonable pricing. Each job has a price quote before any repairs are done. The work has always been done in a professional and timely manner. Most importantly I find Doug’s shop to be honest. One of the first times Doug’s Automotive looked at our truck, we were having a noise problem under the hood. Our truck had been taken to a couple of other shops and we were told it was the transmission. I felt this was out of line, because our truck was not very old. The problem was found to be a fuse. My husband and I greatly approve of Doug’s Automotive.

Good mechanics but they are SHADY. We traveled from Austin all the way to corpus to get our car fixed since we had taken our car to this shop before & they did a phenomenal job for a very reasonable price. However, this last trip we made to the repair shop was not a pleasant one. Being that we traveled from out of town we had to drop off our car & find somewhere else to go while we waited, so we left our belongings in the trunk. Big mistake on our end however when we got back to our car we noticed our laptop was missing. Our laptop case was there, but the laptop was not. We know for a fact that they took it because we hadn't gone anywhere else & went straight back to Austin after retrieving our car from the shop. Doug the owner was not very friendly about it & was making excuses as to why he couldn't see any of his guys stealing a laptop. Instead of being professional & offering to try and help us figure out who did it he hung up on us. We filed a police report but being that there are 0 cameras in their establishment nobody is able to figure out who did it. This was a huge disappointment to us because as i mentioned earlier, they had did a phenomenal job on our repairs and we even scheduled to come back at a later date. It's unfortunate that some people in that shop can be so dishonest & the owner is completely oblivious or could be covering up for the fact that they are all shady. You get what you pay for i guess.

My friends and I were on our way to a girl's weekend at the beach when we ran over a busted tire. The busted tire was causing something to scrape, so we googled the closest shop to us. Thankfully, it happened to be Doug's Automotive and Truck Repair. We arrived at the shop worried about it being a big issue and not being able to proceed with our trip. However, we were seen immediately! The front desk and mechanics were so friendly and helpful. Thankfully we had just pulled down the heat pan (not an immediate/pressing concern). They removed it for us and checked for any possible issues, and we were out the door and back on the road within 20 minutes reassured that we would be okay! Not only that, but they did not try to "pull one over on us". They were very honest about the problem and cost (which was EXTREMELY fair and reasonable)! We were so fortunate to stumble into this shop and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area! Thank you Doug's for helping us and getting us back on the road for our fun weekend!
