Contacted them about doing work, visited the shop. asked for appointment. Followed up by text but they never would set an appointment. If they don't want the job they should just say so and not string you along.

Went to Doug's classic restoration to have them add a/c unit, repair brake system, install all new wiring and do some misc. Improvements to my 1969 Toyota Landcruiser fj40. After weeks of delay I was told everything was done. I picked it up from Doug's place and drove it home. The brakes were not working properly and there were still some electrical issues that were not addressed. I had it towed back to their shop to have them work on it again. A few days later they said it was fixed and come pick it up. I picked it up and was driving back home when my brakes started smoking and failing. Doug's called a tow truck to bring it back to their shop. A couple days later they called and said it was fixed. When I picked it up I could tell immediately the brakes were not working properly. When I made it back home I called Doug and said the brakes were barely working and I still had some electrical issues. After charging me thousands of dollars he basically said they couldn't fix it and try taking it to a brake shop?? As of now I still can't drive it and still have some electrical issues.

This place is great! I brought my '51 shoebox here to get checked out and get some wiring issues squared away. Doug gave me a tour of the shop talked to me about some cars he was working on. When my car was finished all issues had been addressed. Great service, great price I'll definitely be coming back!

We brought my wife's car in to fix some odds and ends items. The technicians were very knowledgeable, professional, and explained everything in easy to comprehend terms. I highly recommend Doug's Classic Restorations.

Apparently this/these guy(s) cannot read street signs OR abide by the law. One of Doug's trucks with a HUGE trailer just used my private road to turn around even though there are no less than 4 signs at the entrance stating NO TRESPASSING, NO TURNAROUND, NO OUTLET. I would NEVER do business with people like this!!!

I had a heat retention problem in the engine bay of my 2010 Corvette Grand Sport Corvertible which caused the oil temperature to run hot. I bought an Anderson Composites World Challenge Vented Carbon Fiber (CF) Hood to vent the heat out of the engine bay in place of the OEM hood. I wanted to color match the hood but leave the CF vents exposed. After another local shop was unable to match my Jetstream Blue Metallic Tintcoat, Doug came to my storage unit, assessed the project and worked me in. It was super important to handle the fragile hood with care so it would not get cracked or broken. I also wanted to get the fine lines exact and to clear coat the hood so there would be no visible paint ridges. Also critical was matching the new metallic paint to 14-year old tricoat. I delivered both my OEM hood and new CF hood to Doug's shop. Doug's painters are phenomenal perfectionists. They will not stop until the job is absolutely right!!! It took a little over two weeks for them to deliver an incredibly beautiful hood. They kept in contact regarding status and sent me pictures of progress. The resulting job was perfect. If you are looking for high integrity, meticulous attention to detail, supreme craftsmanship, and a job that exceeds expectations, I highly recommend Doug's Classic Restorations.
