I do not recommend this spot for transmission rebuilds, took my truck to get a stage 1 transmission and after 2 weeks all the components were burnt. Took it for a second time to get my warranty and they didnt wanna rebuild it for me trying to blame me for the cause of it. Got them to rebuild it and didnt last no more than 2 weeks and same thing happened so i took it to my uncle to get checked out and told me that all the parts that were put in were the cheapest parts you can buy in the market and also told me that it was not built right and parts were missing.

Been using this builder since 1998! Good then, continued excellence now! From my muscle car with a power glide, musclecar with turbo 350, c10 with turbo 350, and many years without any issues at all. 8 years of teenage abuse and still strong, now we took the Silverado and camry in for rebuild with undeniable confidence. Very friendly people and they are the no bs kind of people that will straight up tell you how it is. The prices were good and I got my vehicles transmission rebuilt and returned in a day. Its a small shop so sometimes they can get busy but I recommend it.

Not being from the area, I always wonder who I can trust, as a mechanic could literally tell you anything is wrong- how are you going to verify without the hassle of taking your vehicle to another shop? Well, I asked around to a few buddies I have that are mechanics and they both suggested this place, as I'm in Ontario. I'm glad they did because it turns out there wasn't anything wrong with my transmission except a little low on fluid. Not only did DPA not take me to the cleaners on a frivolous repair, they also said I didn't owe them anything for verifying nothing was wrong. Thank you DPA, and I recommend anyone looking for honest transmission work to go here.

I had a amazing experience they were above and beyond even to help me with things related to my car that I didn't understand after they fixed my transmission. They also gave me a great deal on fixing my transmission other places wanted to charge me over 2 grand but dpa gave me a great deal. They are a kind hardworking place very much recommend to anyone try them. You will be satisfied.

I took my truck there about three months ago and when I left there two days later, a transmission code came up, took it back. He said it was nothing that I’ll go away. About two months later my transmission started overheating. Took it back to him said I had to install an external cooler Next day. I ordered it. And got it installed two weeks later my transmission started slipping. I took it back on a Friday. I talked to him today. And he doesn’t wanna fix it

I do not recommend this place for a transmission rebuild. I took my truck and after 2,000 miles it was acting up, I took it back because it was supposedly under warranty but they ended up charging me $500 more for a computer fix that they had just replaced.

DPA was recommended by my diesel mechanic. The 1st thing I noticed was how friendly everyone was, especially the lady that works in the office. I had them do a service on my BD Diesel transmission. Afterward, I noticed that the transmission was leaking. They quickly scheduled an appointment to reseal the pan. Again I noticed a leak and started to become frustrated. When I returned they found that the leaking was from the dip stick tube where it enters the transmission, nothing to do with the work they had done. They replaced the tube at no charge even though it had no connection with the original job . I can't believe that there are still such reputable shops around. They are the best! Ron Abe
