I was recommended this shop through a friend. I’m glad I took my car here. The staff were friendly, honest, and did good work (Check Engine light hasn’t returned after a month, so their diagnosis and repair was correct). Will definitely return here in the future!

The worst service i have ever had. They talk a good talk, but the actions didnt match the talk. Every time they said something would be ready, it wasnt. I gave them a list of things that needed to be taken care of and gave them papers of previous diagnosis, the same day from the dealership i bought my vehicle through that does not do transmission work. On that paperwork also stated the same things on my list. It took them more than two days to do the diagnosis. I kept having to check on my vehicle because they never called me to give me updates, each time there was always an excuse. Whenever i asked for an estimated time frame, they never stuck to their word, and no call from them. They had my vehicle for over a month, they dont provide loaner vehicles so i had to pay out of my pocket 6 weeks of rental car. They replaced transmission w/ a remanufactured transmission that came with a warranty. They did not give me a copy of that warranty, when i asked for it the guy, Brandon, told me it was internal. I asked if he could print it out for me, then he just hand wrote, "3yrs or 36k miles". At the time i had not driven my vehicle so i didn't want to cause problems incase i had to come back. They told me it would be ready on a specific day, so i said ok I'll pick it up the next day. The next day, afternoon, i went to pick it up and they said the guy was out test driving it. When he got back he said my car had some other issues that should be taken care of. I asked what, he said valve cover gasket. That was on my list. I asked why they didnt do that. They said i didnt verbally tell them. So upsetting. They didnt fix a couple of things that ere on my list. They did mention a seatbelt light, but said they couldnt remove my seat ti fix it. I didnt say anything, i just wanted to get out of there. Driving home the seatbelt light & sound kept flashing & chiming eventhough i had the seatbelts fastened. It was not like that before i took it to them. When i got home i called the number of the sticker from the company the transmission came from & asked about the warranty. It's a 5 page 3yr 100k. I called Real Time Auto back & told them i want that 5 page warranty. I made an appointment w/ the dealership i bought my vehicle said the could do the valve cover gasket and they give loaner vehicle. This company has caused me a lot of grief & disatification.

Honestly this is one of the best places to go if you need your car fixed. The staff was amazing and super helpful (Brandon was absolutely amazing!) and definitely didn't feel pressure to add on anything or do anything extra to my car like most shops try to do. They were able to get me in for an oil change within an hour after I had called them for a quote. This was my first experience with these guys but it certainly will not be my last. The price for the oil change was very, very reasonable, which Im very grateful for. Even though I’m not in Salem, I’ve still gotten amazing help from Real Time Auto Repair — all over FaceTime and phone calls! Brandon is an incredible mechanic who truly knows his stuff and cares about helping people, even when he’s not the one doing the actual repair. This shop deserves serious recognition for being transparent, honest and fair with their pricing without being pushy for a sale. For this, they'd already earned my respect and my business. Brandon is incredibly mindful, helpful and helped me make sound decisions for repairs. If this wasn't enough, I learned of their Toy Drive (free oil change with a toy donation) while my car was in the shop and promptly brought all of our other vehicles there for service. Not something you can normally tout about your repair shop. The office was LOADED, floor to ceiling, with toys to give to those less fortunate for Christmas. I loved what I saw, and it reassures me that there's meaning behind the work these guys do, it's bigger than charging every dime they could to everyone who walks though those doors. That's why you'll find me returning to this shop for all my future repairs. Thank you Real Time!!

Today I requested them to perform a pre purchase inspection on a 2013 Ram 1500. I was surprised about the honesty and level of service they showed. Where I come from these kind of inspections are unusual. I got a full report with all their findings. And an overview of items that require immediate attention. I also got estimates of what it would cost per item. Plus labor costs. All in all it genuinely helped me in purchasing this particular vehicle. I certainly will come back. Brandon was a great help. My pick up went in there and of course it would not recreate the problem once mechanic had it. They tried to get it to recreate issue and it would not. Instead of throwing parts at it like some shops would and run up a big bill, they charged me a very responsible diagnostic fee and changed my oil on my diesel truck for $90 when most places want hundreds. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

Brandon and his crew are great at what they do. I took them my car on Thursday and it took them a bit to figure out why my check engine light came on. We knew it was a Transmission issue or code so they filled my car and cleared my code.They test drove my car for my code not to come back on. Called them on Monday to see what my final results were and if I could pick up my car. I was going thur something no one should have to go thur Brandon even let me vent. And I got to his shop and lets say he took care of me . I thanked him for everything and he will get my business again. Thank you guys for everything.

Came in for the toys for tots drive for the free oil change. Brandon at the front desk was very helpful and professional. He explained things that are coming up on my vehicle but didn’t press me to buy on the spot. Allan did my oil change and topped off all my fluids and did a wonderful inspection on my vehicle. The environment was beautiful with Christmas lights and a tree with Christmas music playing. They had a wonderful sitting area with drinks and snacks and a tv. 10/10 good job real time team definitely will be coming back in the future. Not many trust worthy and honest shops left.
