Here’s a big shout-out to OK Tires on 12th St in Salem. Had a nail in a back tire. I’d gone out to the car and saw the shiny bent head folded into the treads of the rubber. Looked small. I was committed to driving up to Tigard the next day to deliver some patio stones in the car. On Saturday afternoon, June 21st, I drove to OK Tires to remove it, hoping that it could be readily repaired if it instantly went flat. I didn’t know the tire shop was closed on Saturdays. Didn’t call first. I know- kinda stupid. Pulled up near the front door to check the hours. I got out to check the tire. It was then that Mike and his son Xander pulled up and asked if I had a flat. I explained, and without batting an eye, Mike opened the shop, Xander guided the car onto the lift, and they repaired the tire. They took time from their day off to help. And wouldn’t take compensation, just a request to think of OK the next time I needed tires. I can’t thank these guys enough. OK Tires just got a customer for life. I certainly will buy tires there, and I urge anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and genuinely caring family business to do the same. Thank you, Okay Tires, and thank you Mike and Xander. This is a ten star service. Angie told me the price on Friday, I paid for the tires Monday, the tires were installed Tuesday morning. They were 35% less than Less Schwab who I had done business with for 45 years. These people were all business and did everything they said. The ride was better than when I get the vehicle new. Angie ( I believe that’s her name I’m sorry if I’m remembering incorrectly) has been wonderful to me every time I have come there for anything to do with the tires! If anybody thinks 160 to put on 4 tires is a fair price is off their rocker, then they want to charge more for tire disposal is crazy. Let alone a previous brake job & they send you on your way with brake fluid leaking from them not tightening after "bleeding" brakes. Dont send somebody with limited knowledge to them to provide an honest job. Dont let a nice voice fool you

Angie is a doll, and she has that sultry voice that can answer any question. I bought a new car, and needed tires and she got me in within 24 hrs. No high pressure sales tactics at all. I felt super comfy. The piece de resistance: I walked in and have never seen her before, but she discerned that it must be me and said, "Hey Kenn." I was taken aback, because how did she know? Such a good and intelligent person. I am now a forever customer.

Good local business. I had a funky low-pressure tire, or I thought it might be a faulty sensor. They checked out that tire, it was low, and they took it off to look for leaks and such. And they were going to do that for FREE. I gave five bucks for taking the time to do that. They actually care about their customers. I will give them future business. They also do oil changes! Super friendly person at the front desk.
