I’ll trust this place with anything I need done to my car! Bryan is a great guy and doesn’t beat around the bush, he tells you exactly what needs to be done with your car to be in safe working order again. Never been up charged here, just an honest guy ready to fix whatever needs fixing so you can get back on the road asap.

Bryan at Duffy’s is a different mechanic than you are use to. He is upfront about what he can do for you and charges a very very fair price. On all the vehicles I have owned, I have always taken them to Duffy’s over the dealership that I purchased them from. I trust Bryan more than I would the dealership it came from. He has proven his knowledge, skill set, problem solving, dialogue and finding a solution many times to me. It's hard to find an honest mechanic. Even harder to find an honest an proficient mechanic. Well if you are in the Denton area you can stop looking. Bryan and JT are your guys! My daughter is a college student in the area and is a 4 hour drive from me... so when she called the other day telling me that her car was overheating I got that pit in my stomach that a father gets when he has to send his daughter to a mechanic shop. I found Duffys on Google maps and read the great reviews... and let me tell y'all they are well earned. Bryan quoted a fair price, then unprompted kept looking and found us a better deal on the radiator fan that was bad... JT quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue and they had her back on the road the next day! Highly recommend!

2023 REVIEW: If you live in the DFW area Duffy's Auto Service is the best place to go for any auto repair/car maintenance. Bryan has the most integrity of any working professional I've ever met. He works quickly and efficiently. His communication is leagues above anything I've experienced. He explains all of the services thoroughly. He sent me photos of the parts that were broken on my car compared to what they should look like, which was extremely helpful. If your funds are tight, he will break down your car's needs and let you know which things are a priority and which things can wait. He will tell you when other professionals have overcharged you or quoted you for unnecessary services. When a AAA tow truck told him my car needed a new alternator he could have charged me for that expensive service, but instead he let me know it was just the battery that needed replacing. I can't recommend him enough!!! ---------------- Bryan is fantastic! I have never had a better experience with a business! I am a graduate student with limited funds. Bryan went out of his way to work with my schedule and ensure the repairs were necessary and the related components were in working condition as well. Great value, great service I will recommend this business to all of my friends and family!

I’m so glad I found I finally found a great mechanic in Denton! Easily the best experience I’ve had. Bryan and JT are very great at that they do! They are extremely knowledgeable and fast at getting the work done. Bryan is great at communicating what needs done. My jeep was beyond loud when I took it in. Now it’s so quiet you can barely hear it run which is amazing. I can’t think them enough! If you need any work done please take it to Duffys!

I couldn't have asked for better service. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, and fairly priced mechanic, Duffy's is your place. I traded a handful of texts with Bryan; he sent me a quote, was flexible on appointment times and had my truck in and out in a half a day. Excellent service and even better customer service. I can’t recommend this shop enough. I would have given them 10 stars if it was possible. My son goes to UNT and was having pretty serious issues with his Ford F150. Bryan asked us to bring it in and he would give us a free estimate. Well, the water pump decided to dump everything in the parking lot. Bryan did a thorough inspection and explained everything that was needed. I’m out of town and he went above and beyond not only with the repairs but he kept us up to date along the way. There was an issue with my Automotive repair credit card and he even worked with the credit card company and on his side to figure out the issues with that. He was very helpful and continued to say no problem we will figure it out. I am a 100% disabled veteran and unable to be there for my son but he helped me get this very stressful situation fixed and my son back on the road quickly. You don’t find that kind of service and attention to detail very often A huge thank you to Duffy’s auto service.

Headline: The owner is the great car guy we all wish we knew. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, he’s honest, smart, considerate, very thorough and super friendly. Very decent human -will never take our cars anywhere else, now that I found him. (His staff is just as awesome - special shout out to JT…) Longer story: If having your F150’s brakes suddenly and completely fail (while driving at full highway speed) can ever end up being a net-positive thing, that’s where I am now. We had just had the brakes checked and rotors/pads replaced at a big chain auto place, so I was shocked when the brake fluid emergency alarm went off in the pickup. I tapped the brakes to check and my foot went straight to the floor. I had zero resistance. Managed to get the car stopped, and called AAA. They asked where I wanted the truck to be towed, so a quick Google search found me Duffy’s. Very nearby and great Google reviews. Duffy’s website says they work by appointment, and the best way to schedule is by text. I figured that would rule out a surprise AAA arrival. But, the reviews were so good, and I had about an hour before AAA got to me, so I thought I’d give them a text and see. Almost immediately, I heard back from Bryan, the owner. Very willing to help. So that’s how we found him. Turned out to be an unusual problem that Bryan and his guy JT quickly figured out - master cylinder and booster both had to be replaced. I had the truck back in 24 hours. Amazing communication from him the whole time, including video of the parts that failed, explaining exactly what went wrong. We were so happy to have found these guys, that when we drove to pickup the F150, we left the other car we drove up there in, just to have them go over it for us. (It was for due an oil change, and has just started a couple of other odd little things, so I asked them to do a full general checkup.) I expected to make an appointment for next week or whenever, but Bryan said we could go ahead and leave it right then. We’re here for good, now.

This place is top notch. Bryan received a text from me around 9:00 at night back in August about my daughter’s car needing work done. It was her second week at college alone and I was traveling on business in Chicago and trying to manage getting the repair done over the phone. Bryan communicated with me via numerous calls and texts to work through the repair work that was needed. My best friend owns an auto shop but too far away so it’s nice to find someone local I can rely on to take care of my kid’s repair needs. Bryan runs a great and respectable shop. I had a very expensive and questionable quote from a different shop, so I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I’m glad I found Bryan. He took his time to provide in-depth explanations of his diagnosis and took high quality photos to save me from a large and unnecessary repair. He even went out of his way to fix some of the sloppy work done by the previous shop. Bryan is also quick to respond, and it was very easy to set up an appointment. I will be going to him for any future maintenance or repairs.
