I broke down on our way home on a Sunday. They towed my truck, and gave us a ride to a hotel. Truck was fixed Monday morning first thing and it was $500 less than the origional quote. They could have easily taken advantage since we were stranded and couldn't go home until they were done, but they were honest and fair. I can't recommend them enough.

This is about 6-months late of a review - but the fact that I remember Duke's towing after this long is a testament to how good they are. The gentleman who helped us (I wish I could remember his name!) was so friendly and quick to help. It turned what was a terrible situation where I popped a tire and was on the side of a busy interstate, somehow into a decent one. Thank you so much for the quick and friendly service!

After waiting over an hour for my insurance company to find some one to get my car unstuck, they found Duke and estimated it would be 30-45 minutes more until he could get to me. He showed up within 10 minutes and I was unstuck within 5. He was very friendly and had a great attitude. Was so relieved after being trapped in a dark parking lot for 2.5 hours already.

I blew out a tire right on 35W south of Minneapolis. Was a really bad spot on the freeway. I called them because they were local in hopes that they could arrive quickly. And they certainly diid. Driver was very kind extremely helpful and I rode shotgun back to their shop. My tires had an odd size to them and it was an AWD. They did not have that specific tire available right away.So they brought me to a tire shop just right around the corner and I got taken care of by them with their inventory. Just really being helpful looking out for my best interest with the Tow Truck driver. Wish I could remember his first name - but really great guy and helpfull!

No good experience. I called early to see if they towed, and they said it's was going to take one 1 hour to get their I agreed, but it took 3 hours they still got my car to there garage while loading up the car I asked them to be careful because the wheel area has sensors and the tow truck employee didn't care and when he broke the sensor he said that he didn't brake it that I broke it because the wheel was popped and that's the thing I only called to get a tired change not a sensors issue just simple tire change nerve come to dukes they over pirce and take at advantage and they take least 6 hours to fix simple wheel and sensors even they said it's a 4 hour fix

I've had a couple of tows from the same driver due to my car's transmission being impacted with the cold snap of January. Duke's has been fast, courteous, and affordable each and every time, plus the driver knew me by the second tow! I highly recommend them and will keep them in mind should I need a tow in the Twin Cities.

DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM HERE- i bought a car in desparation last year from dukes establishment, already filled in title( i thought it was ok for dmv) come to find out they wrote some anonomys name on the title, when you try to unlock the doors with the key, duke shows how you have to wriggle and jiggle the key ( didnt work at first and didnt work ever again) after i realized im ok with the lock not locking ( i bought a bar for my steering wheel, so they cant steal the car, but they frequently came and stole things out of my car) when i asked to to please help me get the title out of this weird name- he said i have to get expensive insurance and figure it out, and left me - i went to get the vehicle registered and becasue duke never produced the person i bought the car from - i do not have a title and now im trying to sell the car, if i cant get the title i will but out all the windows and tires remove every part i put in it destroy the engine, battery and gasket and leave it there for him to sell--- point is he is shady his business is shady and that SO CALLED barely espeaking english woman in the front, you are all very wrong the the business practices you should be ashamed of yourselves---- doing business here is a wash -- - if i could leave negative 5 stars i would BE WARNED NOW

I took my vehicle to get tinted at Duke’s Cars and Towing, 520 E Lake St, Mpls. I have been going there for years! I finally decided to get my 2024 Cadillac tinted. I could not believe my eyes!! The tint specialist and installer, Emmanuel, who is a young man, did such a PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION, and I was overwhelmed with his service!!!! I will definitely use this service for all my tints!!! He also left me a care package in my vehicle and made me feel like we were friends always! Thank you so much Emmanuel for a job well done!!!!

I absolutely will go back here again. I went there at 9 am it was really busy and Vanessa works in the office and she is so wonderful at trying to save you some money. As well as answering phone calls and questions from staff and customers. I called this company at 1 am to come unlock my door and they were there in 40 min. Duke is really nice. The workers are cool they speak to you when they come into the office . I liked that. I am an African American woman and sometimes you get all these things that need to be done and it’s a ton of money. That did not happen today, I was impressed that Chico had not eaten all day and worked on car after car, it was 3 o’clock and he still took the time to bring me in the garage and show me my car issues. I thought I had an issue but he showed me my car was safe to drive. Checked my oil and everything under there.

unsafe drivers. Truck turned left on a red light, pulling in front of 2 lanes of traffic that had the right of way. Tell your drivers to do better, your drivers will cause accidents.

Do not use the Bloomington location - I brought my car in to have brakes installed. They installed the brakes improperly, they made terrible noise for 2 days after. I went to two external mechanics and they confirmed these brakes were not installed correctly. I tried to contact this Dukes place twice on the phone - no answer. I finally got a call back two months later after I dispute the charge. Now they’re asking me why I didn’t give them a chance to remedy the situation ! Maybe it’s because they didn’t work the first time and then you didn’t call back. Extra bonus - the mechanic spoke zero English..

Terrible service. Do not bring your car here. It took them almost a week to look at my truck, I called every day…finally they tell me that they couldn’t fix the problem. Then they told me they were done, I went and got the keys, they happily handed them to me, then proceeded to stalk me on the phone until I brought the keys back and paid them $40 to which I’m not sure what exactly $40 is owed. They did nothing except made my truck not even turn over. They then moved it to the street where it towed and I no longer have my beloved truck. Unless I want to pay hundreds of dollars. I’m completely devastated.

I brought my car in for a tire change and was told the wait would be about 40 minutes. Later, they informed me that I was only on a waiting list and that three people were ahead of me. Then, without my permission, they decided to work on two other cars first — one needed an oil change and the other needed just one tire change. They finally started working on my car around 2:00 PM. While I was waiting, I could clearly see the mechanics joking around in the garage and eating snacks instead of working. I told them I had a 3:00 PM appointment, and they assured me it would be done in 20 minutes. It has now been almost 1.3 hours, and my tires still aren’t finished. The lack of professionalism and respect for my time is unacceptable. I would not recommend coming here unless you have the entire day to sit and wait.
