The place doesn’t look like much...you can hardly tell it’s Baraka...looks more like a tire shop from the outside. But they do a great job with speedy service for oil changes. I redeemed a Groupon at the original Baraka Auto in NE Minneapolis. They said I could redeem the remainder at this location - no problems. I was in and out in half an hour with a synthetic oil change.

Bought a Groupon. Asked the guy about a oil change. He had time to do it, according to him, then once I said it was a Groupon I had, he all of a sudden didnt have time. Told me to come back... And didn't know when I should come back. This place has so many bad reviews. Nobody should do business with them. Im going to report them to Groupon. This is unprofessional and seems like a scam.

Someone had hit my car a few days ago (a dent& paint chip), I brought my car to Baraka Auto Tuesday morning and they had it fixed by Tuesday evening!! I was worried since my car was a bit newer the paint wouldn’t match but it was perfect. Fast, quality, and super affordable! Will definitely be coming back

Baraka has the best service I have experienced at any mechanic in Minnesota. They will tell you how it is and won’t do any cheap tricks just to keep you going for another month! I have fixed my vehicle at both their locations and would personally say it’s a 5 star experience ;)

If you don't know anything about cars, beware that they know that, and will try to charge you for unnecessary services. I went in for a typical oil change, and I made the mistake of asking if they could possibly get me in sometime to do my brakes and tires. They proceeded to then bring me back in the shop, and tell me that they "don't even know how I'm driving my vehicle in this condition". Told me that I needed brake pads, rotors, tire rods, control arms etc replaced. I then went to multiple other shops and got inspections done. For those shops to basically tell me I need my brake pads replaced, and other basic maintenance repairs. Had I gone through them, I would've been screwed out of $2000+. This place WILL take advantage of you if you are naive to their antics.

These guys are the best!! My car got busted in an accident and the insurance company declared it totalled. But Baraka gave me a super reasonable quote and fixed it in less than a week! It looks gorgeous, like nothing ever happened. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

I was directed here by their other location in NE Mpls. I recieved top notch service, and treated as a priority no matter how much time I took hemming and hawing because of how surprisingly bad I had damaged my car with liability only insurance. The guy I spoke to at the front desk was consistently earnestly on my side, working to find used parts and then fixing the ones I had damaged instead when the parts were going to be out of my price range. He was prompt about timeline updates throughout and stuck to the very first price he quoted me as the lowest it could be in a range (he had said it was just an estimate because everything could have been varying prices). Top notch result in the fixed car driving super smooth. I don't notice there was damage.
