This place is sketchy. Most of the 1 star reviews get moved to a place called “Plumbing plus water heater” at 4775 W Panther Creek Dr #450, The Woodlands, TX 77381. THIS REVIEW IS JUST TO TRY AND REPORT THAT TORES PLUS IS TRYING TO MOVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS TO AN UNRELATED BUSINESS. Don’t believe me? **PLEASE READ IN FULL** Here is a TRUE representation of this shop. Earlier this morning I absolutely nuked a curb. Called around to a few tire stores near my location to which none of them had the tires I needed in stock. These guys at this store went out of their way to go to another location, get me new tires, swap out the old ones, and get me back on the road with 4 new tires in less than 3 hours! Highly recommend this shop and greatly appreciate their swiftness with the situation aswell as great communication. Would recommend to any car owner and will be returning for future repairs! 5/5 Would Come Again. Suspicious business on more than a few levels. I wrote a review a few years ago, about my experience where they told me I couldn’t repair a tire that Nelsons down the street did for FREE. They also said they couldn’t just sell me one tire they had to sell me 2… Then I got a notification from google today, that my review was essentially “moved” to a plumbing service that I have never heard of called “plumbing plus water”. If nothing else, you can takeaway that I went here 6 years ago and I still remember how terrible they are.

The Uptown Tires Plus is great. For a week straight I came over with a flat tire every day one of the guys filled me up air even in the freezing cold this was done before I even made the decision to purchase tires from here. This morning I brought my car in for 4 new tires and they hooked me up I dropped my car off at 10a and they were done by 12pm 2 hours that is amazing! All of the mechanics were so kind and patient with me asking all of the questions sometimes as a single women I feel like mechanics pull fast ones telling me ALL the things need to be fixed but not these guys there was no pressure to FIX all the things 😃. Thank you all for a great experience.

Here wishing I can give a negative rating. This place is a joke the front staff customer service is terrible, on top of that if you can deal with their trashy personalities then the mechanics aren’t “comfortable “ with doing the most basic of jobs. I brought my Mercedes in and they charged me to diagnose nothing telling me that his “mechanic” wasn’t comfortable not repairing the damage but simply tearing it down enough to diagnose a leaking coolant hose not some crazy firewall electrical issue but a minuscule coolant hose …then I buy a 1999 Tahoe and it needs a fuel line replaced and guess who doesn’t feel “comfortable” doing the easiest job in the world next to an oil change? Yes you guessed it mr. 13% mechanic up at tires plus on lake st. Aaaannnnddddd…Speaking of oil changes Oh this last part takes the cake, I call in 3 times for an oil change 1 day on Friday to make an appointment for Monday, Monday comes and the manager tells me that I made my reservation on line and that it isn’t valid. me being an adult male I say ok can I get in tomorrow? The manager tells me yes. However tomorrow came and went for me with no oil change because when I call to confirm the appointment the appointment that the manager set for me didn’t exist now the third time was just to see how actually incompetent or careless they were… Tires Plus do you want my tires plus credit card back because I don’t think I could use it even if I still cared to 🤷🏾‍♂️
