This shop saved my bacon, today. After being turned away by two smog stations, yesterday because of a broken dashboard, the guys at Duncan Auto Tech unhesitatingly offered to do whatever they could to resolve the dashboard issue so I wouldn’t have to submit an application to a “referee” in San Jose. I can’t lose any more time from work. Needed to smog and register this truck in order to stay working. These guys had me in and out within 20 minutes. They knew what to look for and just got it done. The other shops wouldn’t even try. One shop owner laughed, then, told me to “Google” for what to do next! ALL of my vehicle service will be going to Duncan Auto Tech going forward.

Called to get info the clerk was disrespectful and insulting if how they do business is how they treat their perspective customer complete fail. The guy never gave me his name. I enquired about a check engine light and he told me that other places do it for free then wanted to charge me 100 for the same service got angry at me for pointing this out and hung up on me I wouldnt recommend this place to people I dislike. Completely unprofessional. Take your money and buisness some where that will treat you like a person .

They are also usually very busy and charge full market rates, but I suppose those downsides are a natural result of being the best shop in the area, so I can't exactly fault them for that.

Matt was awesome at Duncan auto. My fiancés family has been going to Duncan’s for years. They recommend I take my truck to him when I was having some issues. I took my truck to multiple shops, including the dealer where they told me I had a bad lifter and one even quoted me a new engine. Matt wasn’t convince and him and the staff at Duncan’s solved the issue which turned out to be a few sensors. They saved me thousands of dollars and got to the bottom of it. Talk about an honest shop that actually cares about their customers and not just getting money out of them like other places. Can’t thank them enough. Will no longer take any vehicle anywhere else and neither should you.
