There are some things in life that are hard to find, and an honest reliable mechanic is one of them. My uncle was a mechanic his entire life and when he passed away, I quickly realized what a struggle it was to find someone who was as good as he was. Not only great at fixing cars, but someone who had an honest soul and a genuine smile, and love for life. I found all of those things at Dwayne’s Automotive. The guys in the shop treated us like they had known us our entire lives. It was obvious that they care about the customers. Our repair work was quick and affordable. Thank you Dwayne and staff. I don’t hope to see you too often, but I’m glad we have someone great to go to when our vehicles go crazy.

Dwayne stopped what he was doing to look at our RV while we were traveling through the area. He spent a good amount of his time trying to help us on a busy day. He wasn’t able to do any repairs but he was kind enough to give us his time and knowledge and he wouldn’t accept payment for his help. Our thanks to you a kind generous good person.

I have 07 avalon and my abs module broke, after trying different shops and got different solutions and prices we found this shop and what a great experience we had with Dwayne!!! We called on Tuesday and got car in in few hours, place is clean, stuff is very professional and knowledgeable! Dwayne said to give him a day and in exactly one day i was driving off with repaired car!!! Price was great too!!! They also check on coolant and other things that needed to be check! They definitely gained us as new customers!

We helped some friends get their 2018 travel trailer state inspected. We found that Dwaynes offered this service rater than having to drive into Houston. The staff was courteous and had the inspection done thoroughly and quickly. I would call ahead but was told as long as they're open they will do inspections. They also do automotive mechanics and they're shop and floor was clean. Which I appreciate when getting a vehicle worked on.

They also warranty their parts and labor which is another plus. Every time I’ve dropped my vehicle off, I’ve got it back within a day or two. They had my car for 2 days just to have the front end checked and never heard from them. I would not recommend this place unless you are not in a hurry. Changed my review. I got a call from the owner with sincere apologies on the delay. He is a great guy, said he will do what ever to make it right. I have never got a call from an owner before. I will be taking it back to have it checked again.

Initially we were very dissatisfied with the result of service at Dwayne's Auto. We took our SUV in for a loose steering assembly and had to wait a while for repairs. We picked up our vehicle and the issue remained. Once Dwayne the owner became aware of our dissatisfaction, he asked us to bring the car back and HE would personally assess the vehicle. I appreciated his commitment to resolve the issue and he DID. We are now content with the outcome and have a much higher level of confidence in the integrity of his business.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst mechanic service I have ever had. Thought by reading reviews that I chose a great shop, I was wrong. They had my car for 2 days & then told me nothing but wheel bearings were needing replacement. When I know for a fact I have like 4 other things wrong with it. They failed to contact me for 2 days, I had to continue to call them just to get anything done. Then I asked for the owner so I could speak to him. They wouldn’t let me or even give me a phone number to speak to him. I would never recommend this place.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. I took my car in last month for a sound my car was making. My car was in and out of the shop for almost a full month (seriously the slowest mechanics in the Galveston county). I went in with no engine light on and left with 3 of them on and they charged me $800 for it. Turns out they installed pieces from for a different vehicle on my car and could have caused a major accident. Don’t waste your time at this place. They honestly have no idea what they are doing.

The guys there are absolutely amazing! Called Friday at the end of business, set me up with an appointment first thing Monday morning. I had a check engine light on and a few other worries. They got my SUV back to me by just after lunch the next day! Came and picked me up so I didn't have to worry about stressing a ride. Overall just the best, most professional and great group of guys!! I meant to write a review about this place the first time they worked on my truck, but I'm glad I waited until my second time, because now I have even more good things to say. This shop is honest and straight to the point. They are quick in their work and the prices are amazing. They won't try and trick you- I had to get my truck towed to their shop (which they handled!) because I thought the starter was busted. Turns out it was just some wiring, and they only fixed that and only charged for that. We all know most other shops would have unnecessarily changed the starter just to charge you more. Plus they only charged $45 for the tow! I will continue taking all my vehicles here in the future. I can't say enough good stuff about this place.

The team at Dwayne’s automotive are honest and trustworthy and do great work. I had an AC leak and another local shop wouldn’t fix the leak and demanded to replace the entire ac system. These guys replaced just the leaking compressor and ac valve core for 1/10th of the cost and my AC is working better than ever. Would definitely recommend these guys!

When I knew something wasn't right with my car, I called up to Dwayne's and spoke to Damien, He told me to bring my car up and he'd take a look at it. Not only did he take my car for a drive, he diagnosed what I needed for Free!! Thanks to him I feel so much safer with me and my daughter in my car.
