They left aluminum foil inside under the hood from their lunch..I still have the same problem..I’m out 275 dollars..and on top of that the boss was so nasty to me..they treat black people like dirt and make you wait extra long..they are so rude and if you are black DO NOT GO HERE..they only take care of their own!

I do not recommend this mechanic. I've brought my car here twice to fix a check engine light that came on. I needed it to pass inspection. He then changed the oxygen sensor and charged me $500. A week later the light came back on and the car began having other problems such as the heat and AC not working and the engine not starting. I DO NOT recommend this mechanic whatsoever!

No good service. Had to pay over $2k for a service that the answer was, in other words: “we could not resolve and it is what is it. You’ve already paid and take you car away from here”. Never coming back anymore.

I sought mechanical assistance from E&J Auto Services after my car wouldn’t start at a gas station following refueling. Initially, I called and explained my situation to Johnny, who assured me they could help and asked me to bring the car in. Upon arriving, however, he informed me that he couldn’t look at it that day and rescheduled for Monday. When they finally began working on the car, communication became a significant issue. Johnny would provide dates and times when my car would supposedly be ready, but those promises were never fulfilled. I had to call every time for updates, as none were provided proactively. The first repair cost me $675, but it failed to resolve the issue. I explained that the problem persisted, and Johnny asked me to bring the car back. Before the second repair, I personally used my own diagnostic scanner to check the error codes. I noted that the same codes were still present before and after the repair, which made me question whether the necessary work, such as replacing the sensor, was actually completed. Despite this, Johnny assured me that the replacement would fix both the issue and the check engine light. The second repair cost an additional $450—an exceptionally high price for a sensor replacement. Desperate for a solution and needing my car for work and other commitments, I agreed to the repair. Johnny reassured me the problem would be resolved. However, when I picked up the car, I was told to press the ignition button twice before starting—he claimed this was “normal.” The car started with a slight stutter, which felt odd, but I assumed the problem was resolved since it wasn’t stalling anymore. Unfortunately, the next day, the same issue reoccurred at the gas station. My car wouldn’t start after refueling, and the original error codes persisted. This raised serious concerns about whether the sensor had actually been replaced or if I was charged for unnecessary repairs. While I appreciate the work done to address the engine oil leak, my initial problem remains unresolved, despite repeated assurances from Johnny that it would be fixed. Overall, my experience with E&J Auto Services was frustrating and deeply unsatisfactory. I spent over $1,100 and still have the same problem I started with. Communication, transparency, and effective problem-solving were severely lacking. I recommend exercising caution if considering this shop.
