I had a fantastic experience at Pep Boys in Paterson! I came in with a damaged tire, and the team replaced it quickly and without any hassle. Eduardo was incredibly patient throughout the entire process—he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with the service being done. On top of that, Wasseem is an excellent manager who clearly runs a tight, customer-focused operation. The whole staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. Customer service was truly top-notch. Kerry was an absolute savior with a last minute issue. I highly recommend this location for anyone in need of reliable auto service. I’ll definitely be returning!

I and my car were towed to this Pep Boys due to a flat tire on highway 19. Kerry provided great customer service and was very helpful in finding tires for my car; a bit more expensive than I expected. Also, unfortunately, they were not in stock. I had to wait for them to be picked up from a different location. Being Friday, there were many people ahead of me so I was there 3 hours. Overall, great service. They just need a vending machine. I'd had no lunch or water and had been in 90+ heat over 2 hours waiting for the tow truck. I had a headache, nauseous, thirsty and starving. There is no place to walk to. Glad I'm not diabetic.

terrible service I was waiting since 3 pm to 6 pm. and then they handed my car like I handed to them. Didn’t even touch my car, just charge me $117 for the aligment except charging me didn’do nothing. I came back again and doing the alignment take another one hour.. terrible terrible terrible.. I highly recommend do not come for Service, come for time wast you are welcome.after complete their service. My car looks like.today i have to go again..i don’t know they can fix it?

Very unprofessional at this location. Randy the supervisor, has no clue about customer service. A lot of miscommunication from the reps and master techs about the service they offer. I drove 1 hour to get a part change that I was told over the phone by rep to cost about 350. When I came Randy didn’t even apologize he is gonna say he don’t know who that would be but we don’t do that here and gonna say customers are not always right like I am lying. Take your business elsewhere don’t service your car here at this location.

They replaced a tire once I got home it was flat. Didn't hit a pot hole didn't even hit anything. Went back to get it change they said they didn't find anything wrong with it. So I went back home with the same tire but the next day it was flat again. When there a third time with proof that the wheel was bad. The photo below and then they finally change it. They should have just replaced it the first time instead of saying I had a cracked rim and that the wheel was fine.

i came in for an oil change and the technician was nice enough to inspect my car & let me know of other issues that needed to be checked out asap. i really appreciated that. now. i was in and out in about 2 hours , but $100 for an oil changed hurt me lol . overall, i would probably go back in the future.

I was at the store 10:00AM for 10:30AM appointment to install 4 tires I shipped to this store from Tirerack. It took the associate at least 30 minutes just to enter my info and set me up in the system. I purchased wheel alignment and 4 tire installation. It took them over 3 hours get my car out of the shop. When I tested the vehicle I found out the alignment was slight worst than before I brought the car in. They said there is a 30 days to fix it, but I’m not sure if I want to go thru the same long wait period to get the same result on the wheel alignment. Might rather pay for the alignment somewhere else to get it right.

Terrible service here I came in for a tire change at 11:00 AM for my 370Z i bring in my own tires it took them almost 2 1/2 hours just to change two tires !!! after that they told me it was ready when I went to inspected one tire was put on the opposite way tires usually say inside and outside I figured they should’ve known that but that’s fine mistakes happen now after that I took it for a test drive and my car went in limp mode couldn’t go past 40 mph. I went back and there was a little bit of bickering. Some of them got offended telling me that they had 30 years plus here that they don’t make mistakes so I left unsatisfying took it to my own mechanic and he figured it out. It was a wheel speed sensor that was just slightly off. If they really was so-called mechanics they should’ve figured it out. I will never go back to this place again first and last time here I see they have bad reviews about tires and alignments. Please retrain these people here just because they said they have 30 years of experience don’t mean you’re not gonna make a mistake. They’re not perfect, but at least own up to it when you make a mistake.
