One of the worst customer service I've experienced returned the car incomplete. was lied to straight to my face about why the car was not ready. The wipers were put on in reverse the hinge that holds the hood up was broken. Was told that the door trim which needed replacement could not be found which was unacceptable also the car had many white dots from the bondo or paint that was used. we brought the car back so she can rectify these issues not only did they not get the dots out the wipers were the wrong ones and put on backwards again was told that the 2010 Buick Lacrosse was too old to find the OEM parts ( wipers, door trim ) Finally was told the car was ready apparently she found the door trim and replaced the hood rod but looked me straight in my face and told me that she had to find a new door from staten island based on the fact that she could not find the trim. The door was the same door it still had the dots on it scrapes that match up with scrapes beyond the door as well as a small dent created in the accident. It was impossible for this to be a new door that was it for me. I just had to get out of there they showed no integrity was lied to and got the car back incomplete at first this is no way to run a business save yourself the aggravation turn and run away.

I don’t know how they got 4 stars? As I was leaving after not getting my sealant on my car I saw another lady very dissatisfied arguing with yet another person at this auto body. My car was under warranty. I took it to get the paint and sealer put on. I told them that I needed proof that it was put on and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I needed the either the empty container that the warranty company sent them, or pictures of before and after which they did not provide. I asked for the owner and instead of trying to fix my problem she started flirting with me which made it even worse because I had to restrain my gf who saw the whole thing. It is obviously a terrible place that has someone feeding their reviews so buyer beware!

I highly do NOT recommend this business and I would not return if this were the last mechanic shop around. Kathy was very unprofessional and my card was charged way more than discussed. If you prefer a business with unethical business practices, this is your shop. Otherwise, find a shop with better service and professionalism. This was not it. If I could rate them a 0/10, I would.

Nice people, they were able to get me in early for an oil change. Good communication. The guy at the desk was easy to work with. A month after oil change, I found out the crush washer needed to be replaced. I had leaking oil. When East River Auto Body did oil change, I also asked them to check the bottom of my car because I hit a metal object in the road, and I was concerned there could have been damage somewhere. All they said was my brake pads needed replacing (which I found weird because I think I had replaced them under 7k miles ago when I got new tires). They nonchalantly told me that my axel was leaking. I pressed them about it, and they said it wasn't a rush to fix (the boot was ripped open a month later). 3 days ago, the connector to my radiator broke off cleanly and I had fluid spewing out the bottom of my car and needed a tow. The friend I bought the car from is a Subaru mechanic and said he never saw anything like that on any car he's worked on in the past. It's an atypical issue. I don't think this place did a thorough inspection of my car to see if there was actually any damage or anything loose from the impact. I don't think any malice was at play. But at the very least make sure people don't leak oil...

Excellent work and great customer service. This place is a hidden treasure that I was lucky to discover while driving through the neighborhood. My car was sideswiped on the BQE by a hit and run driver, removing the paint, damaging the side trim, and obliterating the sideview mirror.  East River gave me a reasonable estimate and restored my car to its original state in under 2 days.  Highly recommend.

Great shop. Took my 1978 ranchero in for a roof replacement and repaint of the rear quarter panels. The quality of work was high and turnaround time fast considering the scope. I could see the attention to detail in the seamless welding and finishing of the new roof section, and the immaculate paintwork. No orange peel or anything. I would trust East River Auto Body with future auto body projects big and small, and the owner was very communicative and up front about the work and cost, which was also nice. 5 stars
