My dad used to come here and always knew I’ll be in good hands bringing my car here for any issue I have. I’ve come here a few times and I have no complaints with their work. Everyone here is genuine and honest mechanics. As a women, it’s already difficult to not get scammed but these guys were honest and ( I already know things about cars). I took my Infiniti to Mateo after it was damaged in the recent floods. Mateo was recommended by a friend and I’m happy he was. Mateo answered my call right away and told me to bring the car in anytime. While Mateo was unable to work on my car because the insurance company totaled it he was a pleasure to work with. He was not only quick to respond to me but also worked great with my insurance company. Would definitely go back to him in the future.

All the good reviews you read about GTM are true. I found Mateo after reading online that they did battery replacements on hybrids and my car's battery had just died. I call the day before to make sure they have time to be able to do it. Mateo quotes me a rate for the job. It seems slightly high but the great reviews I've read about him convince me to go anyways and I'm glad I did. The next day when I pull up, he comes out to me and says, unprompted, "Hey, i'm gonna charge you a fraction of the rate I gave you yesterday. I thought on the phone you wanted a full replacement, but for this job it won't cost nearly that much". Mateo is welcoming and warm and shows a lot of care in his work. You can tell he actually takes pride in his business and in helping others and I'll def be coming back to him for anything else I need and have already recommended him to my friend who also lives in NY. Don't really write reviews ever but a business like GTM (in an industry like car repair) deserves to be highlighted.
