They have done an excellent job with the C70 servicing multiple issues throughout the lifetime of owning the vehicle. Very reasonably priced and quick diagnosis and service.

These guys helped me out when a headlamp went out on my Volvo. They got me back on the road in no time for a very reasonable price. What more can you ask for? Thanks!

Found this quaint little shop via "Click & Clack's" database of recommended shops. Steve and his staff were extremely kind and transparent, realistic in their recommended service for my vehicle. My 1998 v70 wagon is not a new vehicle, so they saved me a bundle by taking extra time to find used/remanufactured parts that would keep me on the road without spending thousands of dollars on new OEM parts. When I picked up my vehicle, I discovered they had repaired a couple of other issues without me asking them for no additional charge. I called them afterwards about it, and Steve said "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. We found a few other things that needed attention, and went ahead and fixed them for you". FANTASTIC! Just keep in mind its a small shop, so you might have to be patient (my repair took a couple of weeks due to locating parts and a delay from a winter storm which slowed their delivery), but I walked away feeling like they did their best to fix my problem without taking me for every penny I've got. Will definitely be taking my Volvo to them until I don't have it anymore!

This place was super top notch for volvo service. I needed a job done for my c30, I live an hour 1/2 away, and I gave them a call. They got me in to help me with cams. Very quick friendly with great pricing. No one around this area wanted to help me and they got me in and out on the day.

Steve and his guys are honest, fair and know their Volvos. They have serviced six different Volos for us, they've always been great and understand how to balance their recommendations with the value of the vehicle they are servicing. For us, this is a huge positive.

just brought them my 2004 Volvo xc90 AWD to get the timing belt, water pump and related items replaced and checked as routine maintenance since the mileage just reached 200,000. The price was what they said it would be and no surprises so I am happy and they got it done the same day. I am very careful about who I trust to work on my vehicles so before I took it to east side imports I checked the internet for reviews and then I even stopped by to check the place out and meet the people. I am glad to say that everything went good and I am very happy to have someone to take my Volvo to as I plan to keep it as long as possible. apparently they only work on Volvos and are specialists which I think is good. I don't expect cheap but I do expect fair and they seem to be what I was looking for. I would like to say thanks to them for not letting me down. 3 year update, just had to have some work done on the xc90 again at 244,000 miles. east university imports totally saved the day again. if you have a volvo, this is where to go.

They did timing belt job and VVT solenoid on my 01 V70. They got me in fast and had it done in great time. Great customer service and pricing was more than fair.

Knowledgeable, friendly, quick turn around, and good communication. I took my '05 Volvo S40 for an oil change and was unsure if the brake fluid was in need of replacement. They were nice enough test the brake fluid instead of just going ahead and changing it; turns out it was just fine. It saved me some money and gave me piece of mind that they are looking out more for their customers than a quick 'buck. I'll be a return customer the next time my car needs service in Des Moines.

Always could go to them with any question or concern with my Volvo S60 and expect knowlagble/trustworthy feedback. If you have a Volvo, look no further. Great location, fair prices, friendly staff that are willing to teach you a lesson about your car every time you walk into the shop.

After a moderate amount of review checking I decided to take my 20-year-old Volvo in to Steve. A few days later he calls me that it's done; it was 25% lower than I thought he would charge me and he even fixed a couple things he ran acrossed by grabbing a coil pack from another Volvo in shop. I wish there was an option for six stars, because he would deserve it
