I purchased my lease in July. The finance team processed my paper for my car tag renewal. I still have not received my car tags. I have tried calling them several times with no response. Left several messages. Horrible. No one returns calls.

This has been my dealership of choice for a while. My last trip wasn't the best long wait despite my appointment. Took a long time to complete my car for just an oil change and filters. Most of all they charged me to clean off the build up on my battery 42 dollars. I agree to the added service only because at that point I didn't trust that they would disconnect something else because I didn't take the recommended BS that they were selling me. Anywhere else would have taken a little wire brush unplugged cleaned off the battery build up and plugged it back up for free. If you need the money that bad then fine I'll give you the $42 but I don't see myself going back there it's obvious this is going to be a nickel-and-dime game that they're be playing in the future. I was harassed three times in the waiting room by sales reps trying to buy my car and twice the same day once I got home on the phone. I get that after the pandemic business is slow to build up the talk about taking advantage of and harassing One customer a bit too much.

Ever since change of ownership, this place has gone down the tubes!! They're very unorganized and don't communicate with the customers. Nobody is in the service department to help you either. My mom took her car to be serviced and a repair, has an appointment at 7am, no update call no answer on the phone. We drove down there at 2pm, the car STILL wasn't worked on and just sitting there. Nobody had any answers for us until the manager came in. I will NEVER bringy car here. It's very unfortunate

Scheduled an oil change and told me that it will take at least 1hr, when I got to the service department they said it will take 2hrs waited for two and half hours when I checked the car they haven't even started soon as I said I been here for more than two hours you guys haven't started the car then that's the only time they took my car and started working on it. The service took 3.5 hrs and the excuse was they had to order the filter somewhere else. This was not a busy day few cars that was behind me was done way before mine and my appointment was scheduled 3 days prior which has plenty of time to get the filter of anything..they even put a tire rotation but the tires was never rotated because they never asked me for the rims key lol this place is a joke!!

Very bad service,they hit my vehicle and did not want to take responsibility; The manager ANTHONY was not interested in checking the cameras inside the apartment service according to him ,he did not have time to check and them he say you had to leave the dealer. Very Very bad.

They blew the taillight issue way out of proportion, acting like it was a major problem when all it needed was a lightbulb replacement. It’s frustrating how they handled that. I honestly felt like they took advantage of me because I was an Asian girl there alone, and I probably looked like I didn’t know anything about cars. They straight up lied to my face. My taillight wasn’t even LED—it was just a regular lightbulb, but they still lied about it.They faked it to get $500 out of my pocket. Service advisor named JOSHUA. He even made up some story about me having a messed-up taillight from a previous accident, which never happened. All I did was fix a scratch on my door! Somehow, he tried to connect that repair to the body shop messing with my taillight, even though it had nothing to do with the taillight. Plus, that repair was six months ago. When I called JOSHUA out on lying, he doubled down on his crazy conspiracy, saying the body shop knew how to fix it because they were the ones who supposedly caused the issue. I was honestly shocked at how he treated me, still pushing this ridiculous story like he thought I was clueless. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional nissan service at el monte. Hope they go out of business.

The wait time takes forever there sometimes. Some service advisors are quite pleasant. Others, not so much. They did wash my car for free which is nice. Coffee for guests is a nice thing. Coupons are available on their website sometimes. Don’t forget to look it up before seeing your service advisor. I would love to give them more stars, but I’ve had better service elsewhere.

The absolute WORST service dealership I’ve ever been too. Josh the service person who helped me with my car tried to up charge me on parts, lied about when my car was done, and had horrible communication. If you decide to come here for service I highly recommend you don’t come AT ALL. If you have to get service here ask for David because Josh is the worst. David was very helpful, respectful, reliable, and always was willing to work and help me. Meanwhile Josh gives you work arounds, lies, and horrible communication trying to get commission on anything. Like I said before I would recommend not coming here unless you HAVE to but if you do, ask for David.

If you fix one fault, he will create another. He will charge you multiple inspection fees for the same fault. If your car is out of warranty stay away from them, complete trouble makers.

I was straight up lied to me multiple times. Josh overcharged me a ton by saying the labor to change a heat sheild would take 3 hours. They didn't do the work they said they did and didn't fix my car. I paid $200 for a diagnostic and they didn't even test drive my car before or after "working" on it so when they gave me the car back saying it was running great and they fixed the problem but they didn't and it was still not running correctly. The check engine light even came right back on the next day for the same problem. Come to find out they didn't even test drive it like they were sopose to do for the diagnostic that I paid $200 for and they admitted this to me. They also charged me $670 parts and labor for a heat sheild they didn't even have. So when I asked for a refund for the parts and labor for the heat sheild they didn't have I also wanted a refund for the diagnostic because they didn't do it. So Josh changed the estimate he gave me from 670 to 470 on the heat sheild so he wouldn't have to refund me the full amount. Straight up lied to my face again! They didn't even fixed my car and still over charged me for cleaning my mass air filter sensor and it wasnt even the problem and and didnt fix my car and the check engine light came back on the next day for the mass air flow sensor. I paid them for what they did (cleaning the mass air flow sensor) but that wasn't even the problem and didn't even fix my car. Anthony the manager was just as bad to deal with and lied as well as Josh by changing the original estimate from $670 to $470 inorder to refund me less for a part they didn't even install. They also charged me 3 hours of labor( at $190 an hr) for something that pepboys was able to do with 1 hour of labor (at $160 an hr) of changing the heat sheild. I suggest you just go to pepboys or any where else because Josh is over charging people and screwing people out of money anyway he can and straight lieing about how long the work takes to charge people more in labor. I should have recieved a full refund because the work they did on my car didn't even fix anything because that wasn't the problem but they didn't know that because they didn't test drive the vehicle like I paid them to do.

Updated Review as of 09/15/25: For the past couple of years now, it's been John Kuo taking care of me and my baby BLU Nissan. He is always professional and takes care of me with quick service and honest consultations for what's needed for my vehicle. It's because of him, the main reason why I still drive all the way here to El Monte for my car needs instead of my local Nissan dealership in Alhambra. I met Kingsley Wong for the first time today for my oil change appointment. (I had originally scheduled under Steven Chen because he took care of me in the past.) However, Kingsley came out to greet my car and I. He was very quick, efficient and thorough. Answered all my questions and concerns with confident knowledge. I have been driving out to this dealership because it's located in my hometown and therefore gives me an excuse to visit my favorite senior citizens afterwards. The service was completed in less than an hour but there was a slight mishap though. I noticed it immediately upon entering my vehicle so I quickly went back to the service counter and notified Kingsley about the problem. He apologetically took care of it personally without any hesitation. I will continue to frequent this dealership for car maintenance because of their solid customer service thanks to employees like Kingsley Wong and Steven Chen!

Worst customer service ever. When i arrive i was standing there for about 30 mins. they didnt acknowledge me, they didnt even greet me. I waited more than 3 hours for a very expensive oil change.

I had an overall positive experience (would be a 4 but I want to applaud John Kuo or making it a 5). I had an 8am appointment and got to the dealership at 755am where i drove to the spot for service advisors. The team proactiely me updated about a little delay due to short-staff with service advisors which ended up being a nearly 20 minute delay to be seen and I was not out of there until 8:30am. John Kuo was my advisor and was super kind, apologestic about the weight, and even didn't try to upsell me as the "synthetic oil change $49.99" coupon from Nissan marketing was a bit misleading as it was a blend and not full synthetic. Throughout my entire experience John was a humble educator and not a pushy sales person, from explaining the coupon, kindly mentioning how full synthetic would be $20 more expensive if desired (and that i got the blend previously), nor pushing me when they ended up recommending some service items that are on the service schedule. I also received a ride back to the dealership afterwards as a part of their service. I am giving 5-stars because of John, 3 stars because of the wait, and 2 stars because of the misleading "synthetic oil change" coupone from Nissan that's really a synthetic blend and not full synthetic.

I’m so feel sorry for Nissan for has having like this dealer which as they saying they rarely able to sale car even they never had costumer for sale the tire. Today early morning I got flat tire on my car & called road assistance to help me toll my car to this location so to start paper work but the lady which had to follow my claim said there is no information on system, I don’t have a prof about warranty, I have to go bring a prof of warranty, they never had costumer for tire replacement ……… so I called to another dealer and representative described her about warranty but still this lady trying to ignore my service & after 4 hours told me I have to wait 5 days till Nissan response me or I have to pay $500 for that flat tire & if they able to get money from warranty company they will call me so I lost my day & set in car till toll my car to another tire shop
