I paid 1076.00 for shocks on all tires. Oil change. .was supposed to change drive shaft. I was charged 140.00 for boots. I was told that boots come with drive shaft not sure by another repair shop. That they dont sell them separately. They put inner tie rods and sway bar links instead. I dont know what it is. Wasnt explained. That was Friday. Today i call for a cover that goes underneath my dash . And the guy cant remember the car or taking it off to change fuse he told me he changed for blinker. I tried to explain to him. He starts yelling and hangs up on me. So i wouldnt go back just by the way he handled himself professionally. Also they need to tell workers not to take or change parts out of cars. Theres a few things i noticed that werent right. i know my car. I clean it all the time and i know if something is different

My review and praise just cannot do this business justice. Andres, his wife Amalia, and his team really renewed my faith in mechanic shops. As a young, single woman, most mechanic shops see a red "mark" on my forhead as I walk through the doors needing help when my check engine light turns on. We young women are markd to them when they proceed to give us a long laundry list of problems that cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to fix. So to find a business where the owner treats "damsels in distress" as his own nieces and is honest and truthful about the problem, and his wife Amalia who very much gives off the caring Tia "aunt" vibe, it is refreshing and appreciated. They gave me the breakdown of the labor and issue and how to fix it, set me an appointment date and time period and told me the total cost upfront. To be honest, I double checked it all with my Mechanic Uncle in Texas and he gave me the green light and told me that I was dealing with an honest guy. If I ever run into any more issues, he will be my new choice in Mechanics from now on. Thank you Andres and Amalia. 💜💙

Andi and his wife (mostly dealt with the wife - who was FANTASTIC) helped me out when I was out of state visiting my Mom. Mom referred to me to El Puente because they are reputable and honest, and she gets her repairs done there. Even though I wasn't enthused to fork over a few hundred dollars for repair, it was work needed on an older vehicle. This visit happened at the beginning of the pandemic, and in conversation Andi's wife discussed concerns about cutting employee hours due to business slowing down. Despite this, she was able to offer a reasonable discount (I'm that consumer who always asks) and engaged in light conversation and jokes and importantly was knowledgeable and detailed regarding the work. Even though I was simply passing through, this made me feel like a valued customer versus feeling they were out just to collect my money. When in Oxnard, IF i ever need future auto repairs - will be sure to return. Definitely reputable and honest! P.S. Claim your business page on Yelp, ask your kids to help you!
