I cannot recommend Emick's Auto highly enough. Dave is incredibly honest, knowledgeable, and kind. He leads with integrity and he is always efficient and communicative. The prices are always fair and and he never once tried to upsell me on anything. I love supporting this local, family-owned business and hope he stays around forever - I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car.

I went to Emick's for the first time this week and I was very happy with my experience. Initially I thought I was going to have to pay for a radiator replacement. However, during disassembly they were able to resolve the issue by just replacing a cap. They saved me a lot of money when they could have otherwise charged me for a more expensive fix I had already agreed to. I really appreciate how honest of a business this is and I will definitely be returning!

Emick's Auto is a gem- and I am happy to have found a trustworthy shop in Denver for all of my car maintenance! Customer service is excellent every time, and I particularly love the text updates and scheduling option for convenience. I trust their opinion of what work my car needs to be in great shape, and the prices are fair. This neighborhood shop is a must.

Super legit shop. I'm new to the denver area and had been looking for shops based on my power steering as I was putting in almost a bottle a day towards the end of my "maintenance needed". Other bigger named shops quoted me $200 just to bring the car in, (older rusted Minnesota car) without any work, but just to work on it. Not to mention, it was over a two week wait at other shops, and Emick's was able to get me in next day. They were very communicate and quick with the "mysterious" repair. I was charged an insanely fair rate, for my power steering fix, and if you're looking for a legit shop this is the shop for you. Both employees there were extremely knowledgeable, and treated me as if I'd known them for years. Very welcoming experience. The shop the 1st time over mis - judged what the issue was to a fair market repair which we agreed on, and when I picked the car up I was told it was actually a cheaper repair. The shop 100% could have gotten away with charging me 300% on this repair, but was super honest and had my best interest in mind. This is a big reason I am writing this review as going to shops for my car, I know more than most people but still can get swindled very easily. TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU HAVE ISSUES. They treated me, charged me and left me feeling great about my service. I have never left a shop feeling like this and a big reason I am writing such an extensive review. I have no connection to this shop and nobody there is a friend / paid me to write this, I am just a satisfied customer!

Dave and his staff are fantastic mechanics. I drove a jalopy pickup for many years, and they kept it running for me at a very reasonable price. I especially like that they are straightforward in their assessments, willing to triage major repairs, prepared to prioritize repairs, and always reasonably priced. If you're looking for a some glad-handing and free donuts, don't go here. If you want quality work completed by skilled professionals, Emick's is your place.

I don't often write reviews. But I felt compelled to write a review for Emick's Auto Service. I took my 2001 Jeep Cherokee to a couple of other local mechanics, and he was by far the most fair and honest. Dave has been a pleasure to work with. He is honest, intelligent and generally just nice to talk to. I would highly recommend Emick's Auto Service.

My car's AC was acting up and I took it to Emick's Auto Service for repair. They were able to see us quickly, diagnose the issue, and fix it within the same day. Dave was very kind and direct with what the issues were. He has tons of experience and I felt confident with him on the job. Our AC is fixed and blowing consistent, COLD, air. Thanks Dave!! I highly recommend Emick's for your go-to mechanic. They are transparent, efficient, and affordable. Do yourself a favor and take your car here, you will not be disappointed.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. I brought my Honda Fit in for a general inspection in preparation for selling it. I told him about a few minor issues that needed fixing and that I was pretty sure I needed new brakes (they were squeaking). He called me back just a few hours later and let me know that my brakes were fine and just needed to be cleaned. He could have told me I needed new ones since I was already so convinced but he was 100% honest about that and everything else. The price for everything was very fair and he got it all done so quickly. I would make Emick's my go-to mechanic forever if I weren't moving out of the state. Very highly recommend!

This place is the real deal. Fair prices, very attentive service, no surprises. I’ve been to quite a few auto shops around town, and Emick’s is by far the best I’ve experienced. Best shop I’ve been to in Denver. I have an old subaru that I love and continue to sink money into. I have been to quite a few shops in Denver. Emick’s is by far my favorite. Everyone is kind, they get your car in quickly, and the repair work is amazing, fast and fair priced. They definitely go above and beyond, even calling to get something covered under warranty, saving me money. I can’t recommend Emick’s enough!

David was fantastic! We called on a Tuesday morning about an AC issue with our Subaru and brought in the car Thursday morning. David was able to diagnose and fix the issue the same day! He communicated to us throughout the day detailing out the issue and fix, and let us know when it was ready to pick up. His pricing was very reasonable and he was very kind to work with. The owner completely ripped me off. I brought my car in for a new battery. He told me I also needed a new alternator which I had replaced a couple months ago. The battery wouldn’t work 2 days later. AAA told me that the battery I purchased was used and not new.
