Good work but not as punctual as they can be. Advice to them is add a day to the time of completion of job and they would be much better on time of completion. Business 101

I had my H22A rebuilt there. They did a amazing job,had bronze guides installed, and ti- valve/retainter spring kit as well. New seal. rings, everything got reworked/rebuilt and checked. Unfortunately, they dont have the equipment to do some valve seleves for our blocks, darton sleeve got referred to La Sleeves to get done. But overall at 20k miles and its running great no issues.

I recently had some work done by engine line that completely ruined my p8r b20b head simple job that engine line turned into garbage my car is ruined they refunded me the price of the work and refused to take responsibility for ruining it after telling them not paint the head they did told them all I needed was valve seals and robert insisted I needed new valves and he didn't know this and that ruined the seals 2x huge hazard as oil goes into my exhaust ports and into my exhaust and can cause the car to catch on fire HE BLATANTLY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MONEY TO HAVE MY CAR FIXED after multiple conversations I had with him before he thought he could fix it told me yeah I'll cash you out don't worry in the long run I got screwed out of a perfectly good running car he only returned the initial money I paid for the 3 angle valve job that he ruined and I did not need but he insisted I did and painted the head DO NOT TRUST ROBERT OR ANYTHING HE SAYS HE WILL SAY WHATEVER HE CAN TO SAVE HIS OWN HIDE unprofessional deceiving and untrustworthy not a man of his word save yourself the headache and take it somewhere else I will be contacting the BBB about the situation and the business practices here on top of that I have run into multiple people that have had the same issue terrible place with mediocre work at best

5 stars, no heaven, my experience was not good from far, nor far from good. While the place depicts the name of engineering, it has nothing to with it.. you are told one thing , such as """ yes we have it""" and then once you arrive you arevtold that you're gonna have to place an order.. don't expect to get sane day service, hardly anyone keeps stock or much less ske dy service. They should change their name to CURVED LINE NOT ENGINEERED It would suit them much better.

I took in a old school 1973 350 block and heads. We specifically said if they can please check the block before anything. Heads were done and after a MONTH I receive a call that the block was no good. They offered a replacement block that we didn't feel was a good donor cause it had a small hole in one of the cylinders. To top it off it had a repair job on a mountiong bolt. Well now I'm stuck with bebuilt heads and a complete kit that all cost me over 700 plus bucks. I left with a promise that he would look for another block that we can use it's been another month and still nothing. I guess they rather make that 1 time $$$ than make a long term customer investment. Never going back to engine line just driving down below or LA where shops can keep it real and no BS. Just felt I needed to share my experience with this place as it failed my expectation of a machine shop business.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND:ย Engine line machine shop I contacted "Engine line machine shop," I asked them, I'm looking for someone to rebuild engines, paid $6,000 total. Two months to complete the job, after I got the automobile back within the first 2 months "the engine seized up" before it seized up there were signs of problems. The engine will completely shut off while driving, I called in and talked to the tech, they said, they didn't know what the problem was. Then two weeks later, the engine seized up when I was 150 Miles away from home. The car was under warranty, so they rebuilt the engine again for free. After I got the car back within 2 months. The fan clutch gave out, I did not take the car back to "E.L.M.S," by this at time I was unhappy with the quality of workmanship on my car. The new car repairs cost me $1,000. NOTE: I purchased a new battery from E.L.M.S, which I believe they recharge my old battery and told me that was a new battery charge me $250. I asked them about the new battery, and they said that was a new battery, I said, but it's having the same problems with this new battery as the old battery before (not holding a charge) NOTE: so I just went and bought a new battery at Auto-Zone problem solved $250 so they didn't give me a new battery. So this is what they're actually doing at Engine line machine shop, is! They did not give me back a rebuilt engine. What they did is, they give me back a (((rebuilt engine block only))), they took ((all my old Parts)) off of my old engine and put them back on the new rebuilt engine block. That's why the car was cutting out on the freeway, seized up. fan clutch gave out.that's because they reused all the old original car parts and now they are failing. When you ask somebody to rebuild your engine you expect to get Spark plugs Piston rings Fan Belts. ... Alternator Belts. ... Serpentine Belts. Main and rod bearings Head gasket Head bolts (Depending upon type and year) Timing belt and tensioner and guides Water pump Valve guides and seals Seals Gaskets Filters Serpentine belt and tensioner or V-belts Distributor cap, rotor, and points and condenser (If Vintage) Plug wires (If Vintage) Oil pump Timing chain and tensioner and guides Camshaft bearings Injectors and harness Ignition coil Coil packs and harness Valves Valve springs Distributor Oversize pistons (If block is rebored) Cam followers Rebuild carburetor(s) Cam phasers Fuel pump Camshaft(s) Starter Clutch Clutch throw out bearing Forged aluminum pistons Billet rods High volume oil pump Roller timing chain Baffles and windage tray in the oil pan I hope this help you out from making the same mistake i did.

The day before yesterday. I had an exhaust manifold stud break on me. A friend tried to help drill and get it out but was unsuccessful.. I went to Westerns Edge Auto Centerin Palmdale. They recommended ENGINE LINE MACHINE SHOP in Palmdale because they specialize in that kind of work. Well, it's TRUE!! Jr was cool and respectful. Talked to Robert. He said Can do it tomorrow at 2pm. I had the car towed to the shop. Robert took the broken stud out an replaced it with another one. They even put the paper on the floor like other professional shops. I would HIGHLY Recommend ENGINE LINE MACHINE SHOP. I am very satisfied with the work, with the staff and with the overall company. My car is up and running again. Thanks Robert and Engine Line Machine Shop ๐ ๐๐๐๐

I have to say this is the best machine shop I have ever been to for the price. Angel was very attentive and addressed my concern for a problem with my connecting rods that a customer had a previous engine built by a no good shade Tree mechanic. Angel explained to me in detail what caused the tight fitting wrist pin, causing the pistons to be seized onto the rods and then let me send a video to my customer went above and beyond, and even fixed the connecting rod so that they move properly for the engine rebuild. I have been building small block Chevys and big block Chevys for 15 years and no one else has come close to this attention of detail, extremely knowledgeable and pays close attention to detail at a super affordable price and very professional and very friendly. Do not hesitate to go to engine line for your needs this is big B with big Bโs engine rebuilding services. They did a great tremendous job
