This review it LONG overdue. We started coming to Eric a couple of years back. He has been so great. He's honest,helpful, affordable, and does great service. Just yesterday, we had to get a smog check for the annual registration renewal on our car. We showed up early, and he saw us 1st thing when he opened. I don't think we were there 20 minutes, and he was done and as usual for a GREAT PRICE (which my husband really likes😊). It's so hard to find a good mechanic, but we hit the JACK POT!!!!😁. Great experience doing my smog check here, I have a very low car and most smog techs won't even inspect it due to that. But not here the smog tech was able to test and inspect my vehicle quickly and with no hesitation, also was very knowledgeable about cooling systems and told me that I needed to update my cooling fans because of low airflow that the small fans on my car do not circulate enough air. Consider me a customer for all my future needs.

My go to place to smog my vehicles. My ‘96 Mitsubishi Montero needed smog and with the car being that old I couldn’t find a place with a dyno and the knowledge to deal with this car. I came across Eric and he went above and beyond with helping me pass the smog. Not only that, but his prices are very competitive and his customer service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Eric put new break pads and break fluid on my car, and I was very pleased with the work he did. My breaks runs smoothly again! Great work. Def. come back for more repairs. Eric is also fast and efficient when it came to my smog check. Update : August 19, 2019 Today I came back to Eric shop because my driver side window dropped down and I had it replaced by him. I looked around various places to find a place to do my smog test. I called one place that didn’t have any info online other than address, and he wanted to charge me $60! He said it was $10 more for being a pickup truck. Really? I looked online closer the next day and found EP Smog. They had a coupon to print out and making an appointment took less than a minute. Seriously. Less than a minute. I just came back from there and in the end I got my smog done out the door for $40! And the best part? It was fine in less than ten minutes. I was in and out of there. As I was leaving I saw a Navy flag hung up proudly in the garage area. A veteran to boot? Hell yeah I’ll be back here in two years. Great customer service that values my time. And a veteran. Yeah I’ll definitely be back to support this business.

Weird to say I love a smog station, but I really did love it here. Why? Got right in and out. Adrian was super nice and a delightful person. No one looks forward to getting a smog check, but if you have to get a smog certification, definitely come to this location because they’re quick & they’re nice.

“YOUR ONE STOP SMOG SHOP!” Don’t waste your time going to a smog station that doesn’t do repairs, or doesn’t weld, or this or that! JUST COME TO EP SMOG, HE DOES IT ALL!!! Messaged EP SMOG last night through instagram about bringing in my car in for a catalytic converter to be welded in. He was very quick to respond, and also when I got to the shop this morning to have the work done, he welded it up quickly within an hour and I was on my way! Great service, quick service, and friendly guy! A+++ 🤙🏼

EP Smog definitely has a repeat customer in me!! Eric is a one man show, gets work done in a timely manner and does everything he can to make his customers happy. I had to have my catalytic converter replaced, which is not a cheap repair. Eric did amazing work, provided reasonable pricing, and referred my to a government program that helped pay for repairs!! He is a Blessing and I will definitely refer him and his quality work!!

Best smog shop in North County! Eric the owner is very knowledgeable and will take care of your car. The interior is very clean with cool wall decor of some of the cars he used to own. I brought in my mom’s car and it needed a new catalytic converter. Eric installed it with ease at a great price. 10/10 will always come back here.
