Called yesterday for a quote to bring one of my broken down school buses from Danbury back to Port Ewen since they state they do long distance towing and was told they don't. Not sure why they advertise they do that type of service if they won't do it.

i had a truck was towed by them 4 mils away and they charged me $800 because they police called them and when i asked why is this high the guy said this is a flat rate and if you don't like it then we will charge you extra...they end up charging me $1346 and i called a business bureau and made a compliant.

My truck was in an accident and the police called Erichsen's to come tow us. We had called our local tow guy. Erichsen's driver was so disrespectful to us that the other tow truck driver stepped up and said to stop disrespecting us. They charged us $5994 and wouldn't' release our truck until we paid Cash. One of the things our business prides ourselves in is not taking advantage of people in trouble and of always being respectful Shame on Erichsen.

Great service. It's a family run business since 1977 and the owners Jerry and June are the nicest people. Their son Jerry Jr runs the towing part of the business and their daughter Victoria runs the front desk.

A big thank you to USRider and to Erichsens Auto Inc. !!! They arrived in 45 minutes and winched me out in 15 minutes. Very careful throughout the entire process as it was in a tricky spot. JR, an employee, and the owners son is a disgrace to the towing community! State Police called them out for a small truck that was on its side. They brought 3 trucks and a recovery trailer! Meanwhile this definitely could have been done with much less, but then they couldn't charge the 10,000$ that Jr said it was going to be! He yelled cussed and was down right mean to the owner of the truck that had to pay out of pocket. They towed the truck back to there yard, even though the owner of the truck didn't want that. so they could also charge storage. After the owner pleaded to get his truck towed out from a different company that was on scene to begin with they finally "let it go" for 5,000$ meanwhile this was maybe an HR worth of work. And he had to pay in cash! How did it go from $10,000 to 5,000? Stay away!

I got a flat tire very early in the morning. The town truck showed up very quickly, less then 15 minutes. They took two of us with them to the shop and had our tire patched in no time. Each person we met was nicer then the last. Great shop, great work, great people!

I recently had to be towed due to dmv error. Towed 3 miles $972.00 cash only for the tow. I was told the state set the rate at first then the owners wife admitted they set them. Extortion, no credit card so that the charge can not be disputed. Andy Savage Savage Construction one star is too many
