I was premature on my initial review of this buisness and i think its only because i love riding my motorcycle and i wanted to get it tuned in so bad but never can afford it then when i could my time was canceled. And i wrote a review without all the information which was wrong of me to do cause i wasnt intouch with statewide policy. I wasnt aware that buisnesses have to keep shut down for two weeks if an employee comes to the work place with the coronavirus. I wrote my last review a week and a half into that two week time frame. To the owner of ESP I was wrong and i apologize for this . All i can do is say that i have never been one to make such a statement without all the info. I was wrong and im sorry to all you guys over there at ESP for that. I came to ESP for a motorcycle dyno to tune in my R6 because i have heard over and over again there isnt a better place on this side of the Mississippi to get this done. Evan Steel Performance is head and shoulders above the rest they are the best. Rosco

My experience with this shop was less than stellar. I brought my bike in last year because it started running rich and fouling the plugs. After looking at my bike, they told me the valves needed adjusted. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. My issue was not with the valve adjustment, but the fact that they missed a very obvious carb problem (broken emulsion tube) that another shop found instantly. They told me they looked over the carb and didn't find any issues... I question if they even looked at the carb at all, because a broken emulsion tube is pretty hard to miss. I'm sure this is not representative of all of their work, but first impressions are everything, and I'd be hard pressed to trust their work on my bike in the future.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the work the guys at Even Steel Performance did on my FZ1. My bike just suffered from multiple problems it seemed and the maintenance was beyond my capibility let's just say. I had taken my bike to reputable shop and they just couldn't sort it out with out a bunch more money on top of what I skat spent. The guys at Evan Steel did a great job dialing in my FZ1 and it is a exciting ride pons again. I actually it was better than it ever was before. Thanks again guys, great job. I'd recommend their work to anyone...

I’ve used Evan Steel Performance for my Hayabusa and FJR1300 and completely trust them. These are not bikes you drop off at a “Superstore” shop and let some 21 year old hack on. Phil is great to work with, fair prices and quality work.

Take your motorcycle here! Had leaky forks, I bought all the supplies and even took my forks off my self, I was calling around town and everyone was charging absurd prices. I went to ESP years ago and thought about them randomly. Emailed them and said they would do it for over a hundred dollars less than everywhere else. They are super knowledgeable and experienced, giving me info about what the best options would be for my CBR600RR. Will definitely be going back to them for future repairs and upgrades I can’t do myself.

Best in town! I have been using ESP since 2008 to fix everything I could not do myself on my Kawasaki ZX10R. That includes valve adjustment, water pump replacement, timing chain tension... ESP always did an impeccable job. The shop doesn't look like much, but don't get spooked away, their knowledge and skill are unparalleled. As a bonus, the team is always nice to talk with, all are a friendly and approachable.

I have a 2017 GSXR 1000 and I had ESP do my 15k mile service along with a tune for pump and race gas. Evan installed a power commander onto the bike and the bike side harness for the ECU. He also did the valve adjustment before the tune. After receiving the bike back I can honestly say i had absolutely no regrets about going through ESP. Phil and Evan are a good team that want to help enthusiasts get the best out of their bikes. From oil changes to motor builds I can’t speak highly enough of them. Evan gave me my keys and made it very obvious that he appreciated my business. I should also mention they damn near unbeatable on price.

I've gone here twice and they've exceeded expectations both times. The first was for some body work after I got rear ended, they worked with the insurance company perfectly and even fixed a couple things I hadn't noticed. The second time I had to get a new ignition after someone tried to pick it. They took great care unloading my bike from the tow truck. The part was about $90 and labor was considerably less than that. I was back on the road in less than two weeks. Customer service is fantastic, good people doing great work for reasonable prices, I'll always come back.

Here are my thoughts and observations about ESP ‼️ Evan is a excellent mechanic. He really makes every effort to build his client base by word of mouth. The work he did on my bike was solid.. pricing is very fair. I will not go anywhere else. Chuck at the front desk handles customer service perfectly. Unlike many businesses, he really listens when you describe what your bike needs. Both guys are MotoGP fans.😎 That speaks well of their attitude and intellect. They are busy. You may need to wait awhile before making it into their rotation. But believe me it is worth the wait. The only con I observed was from the refinery across the street. Those people should pass out ear protection for all customers.😡 Give them a try. You will be very satisfied..

I recently visited Evan Steel Performance with my 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, Phil Allison was incredibly helpful, providing a wealth of knowledge and support that truly exceeded my expectations. It’s evident that they truly care about their customers, especially those who are passionate about their bikes. The level of expertise and dedication shown by the team was impressive, and it’s clear they go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Evan Steel Performance to anyone looking for top-notch service and expert advice on their motorcycle. A 5-star experience all the way!

I have been riding street bikes in Tucson for over 25 years. What I discovered over the years is there are not any reliable or honest franchised repair facilities. I came across ESP through chance a few years back and gave them a shot for an issue I was having with a Ducati 1199 (electronics). Evan was able to fix it! His team struggled with it (because Ducati, not their fault), but he only charged .5 hour labor since that’s what it should have taken. I have taken my bikes here ever since. He just installed new tires and tuned the suspension on my GSXR-1000. Made a very noticeable difference! Save yourself the heartache and Don’t go to Ride Later or any of the other joints. ESP is the only place in town that won’t rip you off!

Drove all the way down from Phoenix to have them rebuild my Öhlins front forks and rear shock after multiple recommendations from local racers. They were able to schedule me in and took care of everything same day for me by request. Super knowledgeable and did a great job. I know it is a long drive from PHX but definitely worth the trip.

I met Evan and Phil at the Podium Club in Arizona. I was having some problems with my suspension and getting a good tune on my 2024 ZX10R and my 2023 R6 after talking with Evan and Phil for a while, I felt confident these were the guys to help me out, I left my bikes with them for a couple weeks and when I picked them up, I was thrilled I couldn’t be more happy with the Customer Service and their expertise. This is a first class operation.

I was referred to Phil by local racer and moto enthusiast in Tucson. ESP completely went over my new Kawasaki ZX6R. Switching out the suspension, intake, exhaust, brake lines, ECU update, etc. The bike handles and performs exponentially better after Phil’s team made these upgrades. If you need expert and professional work done on your moto, Phil’s team is the place to go!

I’d love to say they’re great mechanics, but they won’t even be mechanics! I’ve inquired with ESP 4 times, with 4 different motorcycles. Every time without fail they have turned me away. I’m impressed they can keep the lights on. Be warned this is NOT a motorcycle shop. Seems to me it’s a picky and fussy shop full of Cycle Jacksons who’d rather swap out your grips all day than do an actual service job! 🤣 Look elsewhere for fast, professional, and reliable service. A toddler and a 10 mm would be more help than ESP.
