This is one of the best auto places I’ve ever gone to. Jeff is amazing and he keeps it 100. He doesn’t try to bs you and get your car done in time. I have gone and see him 3 times and every time the customer service gets better and better. Jeff will go out his way to do a follow up call once he done with your car to make sure everything is okay. He gave me great advice when it comes to my car and life. I would recommend the family auto clinic to my friends and family

After checking out a few other mechanics in the area, Jeff was the first one who took the time to listen to what I needed done and provide a reasonable solution at a fair price. Throughout the process of having my vehicle worked on, Jeff took the time to reach out and provide updates. Family Auto Clinic was absolutely amazing! I had a leak which damaged my transmission that I had no Idea about. My car is fairly new and this was detrimental. Jeff assisted me with my vehicle as well as keeping me updated throughout the duration of my repair work on vehicle. I recently received my car back and am so content with the work that was done. Professional, polite, efficient, fair, gives great advice. I don’t live in the area. I took a car in to get state inspected before buying it. It had a list of items that needed attention before passing inspection. $ 1k worth of work. I though it was a good car. Jeff and the mechanics thought it was a good car. The name Family Auto is quite fitting because this place is like family. I can remember taking cars here since I was a kid. We don’t take our cars to anyone else. The service and communication is impeccable. Jeff and his staff do such a thorough job of finding the problem and solving it instead of just guessing and they don’t try to squeeze extra, unnecessary money out of you. Family Auto puts a wrench in the stereotype of mechanics being untrustworthy because they are so honest, reliable and full of integrity. I had a problem with my car and Jeff kept searching for the answer until he solved it and he clearly communicated the delay in getting the necessary parts that saved me money. If you want reliability, superb communication and sublime service then I HIGHLY recommend Family Auto.

1 star is too much for this place.Its totally not recomended to go there.Very poor service.The owner(jeff) wants to take money,he only talks nice until he gets money,afterwards he will be very RUDE and find ways to charge more.Not a good place to go.Its a very bad idea to go for car inspection here,He will keep on postponing your appointment for reinspection and tells you reasons like u drove it 1000 mile after the first inspection and will ask for another 125 dollars.I have never seen a very greedy small business owner like him.i wish I had read all the reviews before I go there.Today 04 08 22,I just finished the inspection only paying 20$ in verginia.it was easy there.family auto clinic is a scam.................

After more than 8 months of visiting multiple different mechanics, getting outrageously large repair quotes, and my trust for auto-services diminishing, I went to Family Auto Clinic and my problem was fixed. I was having an issue with my steering wheel jerking left and right while driving -- as if the wheel was being taken from me. Other mechanic shops wanted me to replace both front struts, outer tie-rods, my front right axel, and then get an alignment; all to find out, with the help of Family Auto, that it was just my front lower control arm. The $3,000-$6,000 repairs from other mechanics wouldn't even have solved the problem. Perhaps most notable about the entire experience was conversating with Jeff, a service desk worker at Family Auto Clinic. Jeff inquired about the work previously done on the car so the problem could be better diagnosed. He drove the car with me in the passenger seat to cooperate on narrowing down possible issues and identifying the problem. After the control arm was replaced within 24 hours, Jeff told me over the phone, "Hey, the problem is fixed, and the car is ready for you to pick it up." On the way back to pick up my car, I was flooded with the memories of previous mechanics up-charging me for repairs that haven't fixed the problem in 8 months. However, when I arrived at Family Auto Clinic to pick up my car and pay for the repair, Jeff ensured me, "You can call if there is any more problems, but you won't; the only reason you will call is to thank us for the work." Jeff was right; I drove my 2011 Toyota Camry all the way home without the problem that had been plaguing me for the last several months. As tears started to develop in my eyes, I called Jeff and thanked him and Family Auto Clinic for all their help. This is easily the most satisfied I've ever been after an auto repair in my entire life -- not only due to Jeff's integrity, authenticity, and curiosity, but also due to my car being *actually* fixed. Thank you again, Family Auto Clinic!
