I can not recommend this place enough!! Jimmy (I think was his name) was AMAZING & went above and beyond for us, even though we weren't even really his customers!! My car broke down at the Stop & Shop around the corner (battery went out) and my husband called him to ask if he had a battery charger we could borrow. He didn't charge us anything and let my husband borrow it so we could use it to restart the car. We were having some difficulty getting the charge to hold (not the best with cars & the battery is super old haha) and Jimmy drove by the Stop & Shop parking lot while driving another client's car to test it out and saw us still having trouble. He quickly pulled up next to us, jumped out and helped us get it started. Again, charging us absolutely nothing for helping us! He even let us know what battery to buy when we go to Auto Zone to get a new one. An absolutely stand-up guy and if we need any car service in the future we will be bringing all of our business to him from now on! Thanks so much Jimmy you really made our day!

I punctured my tire and called to ask if they could patch it on short notice. They told me to give them an hour to shuffle some cars around. Once I arrived, they patched the tire in mere minutes for an extremely reasonable price and were very nice in our (brief) interactions. Thanks so much for saving my day!

Great experience fixing the noise when I turn my steering wheel. First time I have been here. I just randomly called in the morning and the owner was so nice and said he can look at my car after 2pm. I went there and first thought I needed to replace the entire strut system and spend >$800. But he took things apart and found the problem is worn out rod. He replaced the rod, so I only had to spend $100 something. The noise is gone and my car running smoothly again. Honest and efficient, as everyone said!

Great local shop for your car maintenance needs. Staff has always been honest and prices reasonable. One time I was on my way to work and popped my tire just a few minutes from my house. I swung by fellsway and they were able to plug the hole and get me on my way in just a matter of minutes- all in time for me to make it to work on time!

Jimmy and John are the guys that I have talked to every time I go into Fellsway and they run an incredible business. One time my sideview mirror was taken off and rather than suggesting I have to pay for a full replacement they put a screw in and sent me on my way free of charge (I preferred this option they won't do that without your ok). They have never tried to charge me for something I didn't need and always go above and beyond. I cannot recommend them highly enough as they are incredibly respectful and fast/hard workers. You may sometimes have trouble getting them on the phone but it's likely because they are busy getting your car fixed as fast as possible and because people trust them enough to keep them busy. Highly recommend they are a great business that deserves recognition!

Absolutely recommend fellsway auto for any maintenance and repairs. Jimmy and John are a rare breed of excellent, honest, and professional mechanics. I highly recommend visiting! I came in for a routine transmission flush, oil change, and inspection sticker. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Jimmy uses only the quality oem recommended brands for his services. Mobil1 for oil change and Toyota transmission fluid. He didn’t know if he could get me an appointment but suggested that I could drop off my car in case there were any no-shows. Indeed, I dropped my car off Wednesday afternoon and picked up my car within a few hours. Picking up the car was such an easy process and his prices are excellent. Again, couldn’t be happier with the entire process and will definitely be back for any work needed.

I think the most daunting part about moving to a new city with your old car is worrying about finding a trustworthy mechanic. My old Corolla's brakes partially failed while I was out on the highway and I knew that I was finally going to have to take my car to a mechanic. In the very first call after I dropped off my car, Jimmy asked if the car sits idle for long periods of time and isn't being driven around as much. I immediately knew that he was someone who knew cars really well because he was spot on in his observation. Jimmy is such a straightforward and kind person and a truly knowledgeable mechanic. When I walked into his tastefully decorated office with vintage car frames and old dark wood furniture, it was nothing that I'd expected to see. I could immediately tell that he loves what he does and he cares for the cars as well as his clients. He and his son John went out of their way to not only fix the brakes, but also checked the struts and a few other things I'd mentioned. I thought that the brakes would need to be replaced but Jimmy called me up and said they are old but they're fine, I just need to drive the car on the highway more often. There was also a weird electrical sound that bothered me and occurred for years without actually causing any harm. The sound was simply annoying. Jimmy stayed up late at night trying to figure out the sound and in the end he fixed it!! I was expecting a hefty bill given all the work he put in the car but he charged me $95! I was relieved but also knew that I had found myself a rare mechanic who is so humble and honest that while I live in this city, I would only be taking my car to him. Some part of me wanted to keep this a secret but he honestly deserves all the business he can get. If you want an honest, thoughtful and knowledgeable mechanic, look no further than Fellsway Auto.

In life you need a good doctor, a good handyman, and a good mechanic to be happy. Jimmy is a great mechanic. He will go out of his way to come up with cost-effective solutions. He's honest and straight forward. He regularly works 12/16 hour days because he cares about his clients and knows they need their cars. I'll drop off my car expecting to get it back in a week and pay a thousand bucks, he calls me to pick it up that same day and charges me $90. I always leave his show feeling like I should have paid him 5 times as much as I did for the quality of service I got. He is also just a really sweet guy

Trustworthy service at a fair price. Jimmy and his son always do a great job and try to save you money where they can. Last service they even drove out of the way to the only store that had the part I needed so that my car could be back on the road that day. Not to mention they will explain everything to you so you know exactly what their process is and maybe gain some knowledge about your car you didn't have before.
