It has been truly nothing short of a horrible experience using Findlay Volkswagen. I still have a warranty on my car-and I’m choosing not to use it so I don’t have to deal with this service center anymore. I have also reached out to the general manager of the store-and I wasn’t worth a response to him either. I bought (and put down thousands) a brand new car with essentially 0 miles in 2022, including all the warranties which costed more. My check engine light came on within a few days. Which is great-because I just bought a new car with a warranty and paid for additional. It’s been 2.5 years of trying to get it fixed and they wouldn’t do it. I was met with a bunch of bizarre excuses such as “it’s just the gas this year” and my personal favorite “it’s just not a big deal only worry if the light is flashing” which rubbed me wrong from the beginning. I paid for the warranties to have my car fixed-so I don’t know why they just wouldn’t fix it. 2 months ago, my car started hissing at me when getting gas and wouldn’t let me fill up my tank past 50 miles and my garage smelt like extreme gas at all times. Since Findlay Volkswagen refused to fix it, my husband went in and talked to them. They immediately scheduled an appt to get it fixed. (Sexist—but a different review I suppose) we paid 250 dollars to get it fixed as a deductible to our warranty. A week later, the check engine light came back on. I took it to read the code to a different business, and the code read as the *exact* thing we just paid 250 to fix. You can’t convince me they didn’t just charge me 250 to turn off the check engine light. It might not be “a big deal” to them, but it was to me, as it was my car and my money. I would never recommend anyone to buy a car here and definitely not pay for their service.

My husband purchased his 22 GTi from Findlay, their customer service was amazing the entire 2 years of ownership. We recently sold the vehicle back to Findlay and couldn't be happier with the experience and offer they gave us! Rett is an incredible Manager. When the time comes to purchase another vehicle we will 100% be going with Findlay Volkswagen again.
