Firestone gave me a list of needed repairs that cost of $1750. I took my car to my regular shop. Mechanics said the parts were worn but nothing was broken and nothing needed to be fixed. They said they had no idea where Firestone’s list of repairs came from. I spent a hundred dollars for my shop to inspect parts that weren't broken, wasting their time and my money.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to Ben and Jackson for their honesty and professionalism. I live 2.5 hours away, and recently my daughter experienced issues with her vehicle. I recommended she go to Firestone, based on a positive experience I had the previous year when assisting a friend’s daughter with her car repairs. I rarely write reviews but I had to take the time to thank Ben House for his exceptional care for my daughter's vehicle. She is a freshman at University of Alabama and needed to get maintenance done on her jeep and was in a time crunch. She had tried several places to get the work done on her jeep immediately but was not able to find anybody in the area that could work her in until she inquired at this Firestone. Ben was able to find out what she needed and immediately take care of her. His professionalism and willingness to resolve her vehicle needs on the spot was a blessing to my daughter and her out of state dad. Thanks so much Ben. Customer service and caring are still alive! These people DO NOT care if you have ANYWHERE important to be. You can book the earliest appointment imaginable and they will continue to prioritize other people over you and dilly dally around while you sit there and stress. On top of ALL that, they have the audacity to lie to your face and overexagerate minor problems on your car so you spend more money. Did you book an appointment for 8am? Yeah have fun watching them start on it at 2pm.

Took my vehicle to get a 21 point inspection done by Firestone today which is required to drive rideshare. The required amount of tread is 1.6mm or 2/32nds. The gentleman at the front desk said my tires were below required amount of tread. They measured between 3/32 and 4/32, which is not far from having almost twice the amount required. The employee was using words like “we like to see it above 4/32nds”. Like and required are two different things. I asked them for a refund because my vehicle did pass inspection and they weren’t willing to provide the passing certificate. Do not take your vehicle to this place. They are trying to scam you out of your hard working money. I took my vehicle to another auto inspection place and it passed right away.

Would not recommend. Charged $49.99 to diagnose TPMS (tire pressure monitoring) sensor. This takes about two minutes and other shops charge nothing for diagnosis. Then wanted over $100 to replace one sensor. They did not warn my daughter about the price of diagnosis. When I called and asked for the manager, I got the same person who was not helpful yesterday. Oh. and with an appointment for oil change, it took over 2-1/2 hours.

My husband and I caught a flat tire and it had to have been divine intervention that led us to this place. When we walked in to the building we were greeted by the mechanics and they came out and put air in our tires. When we explained that one had no air, they took our car back and checked it out. They came back to deliver the news through the manager. He explained that we had not one, but two large nails in our tire. We were mortified because our tires are already very expensive and that bill would not be pretty. As we are sitting and racking our brains to figure this out, we get news that the technicians think they can fix our tire without it having to be replaced. Within about 20 mins, we were told that we were clear to go! We spent about and hour at the shop and we were given amazing service!!! They could have easily charged us so much money but they did what was required without charging us an arm and a leg! We appreciate them so much and we highly recommend them (specifically the one on McFarland blvd). Thanks again team!❤️

On Nov 3rd 2025 I brought my corvette into the Firestone on McFarland for a simple oil change. While it was on the lift, it somehow fell off the lift. At first, the management team wanted to help us out, got us a rental, told us they'd fix it, etc...well, no insurance report has been done by Firestone as of yet (over three weeks into this ordeal) and I just found out from the collision place they finally brought it to, that my corvette is going to be a total loss....I did not want or need a new car...now because of Firestone I'm going to have to get one...who's going to pay for that??? And you think they’re going to replace my corvette with another corvette with all the upgrades I had? I am in for a battle now with Firestone.
