I go to Firestone because I have their credit card and it's down the street from my job. I had an appointment on Thursday. I came in, the guy was irritated that they were busy and I was there with yet another vehicle. He told me they couldn't look at my car. I asked to be rescheduled on Friday. I came in on Friday, he looked irritated again. I told him the issue with me vehicle and that I only needed to know what was wrong, I would schedule the repair later. The tech (different guy) said I needed all new brakes and rotors which can't be true, I just had them all done less than 2 months ago. They have less than 1000 miles on them. The tech had a terrible attitude. He THREW my key on the desk and walked away. I paid the 10 dollar fee and left. I get in my car, which was JUST professionally detailed 10 days ago and it was gross. I have light leather seats and doors and there was black car oil everywhere. The steering wheel, gear shift, push to start, door handle, seat, and door jamb were dirty. They left the paper shoe thing on the floor. I was so irritated. I wiped everything with lysol wipes before I got in. I wish the photos did it justice. I went immediately to Tuffy and they said the issue was something totally different( what I assumed it was) and that my brakes and rotors look great.

I spoke to the Genreal Manager Grant Wilson to discuss the unprofessional behavior of his employee Walker and 10 seconds into the conversation, Grant display ed the same unprofessional behavior. The GM encourages rude behavior and tells customers to NOT come back. What business does this!!

Maybe the services are fine if you can get them done. Made an appointment for an alignment. They message me and tell me they need to reschedule for the next day. Come in at my scheduled appointment time and was told they wouldn't have time to get me in that day. When I mentioned already being rescheduled I just got a shrug and told again there's 3 alignments ahead of me so they wont have time today. So I just wonder what time their appointment was to still be waiting there or if they just decided to take 3 walk ins and not care at all about a scheduled appointment. I was honestly just blown away by the lack of any professionalism or courtesy.

I'm cancelling my appointment for 4 pm today right now! If you're going to argue with me about rescheduling an oil change (so your guys have time to finish up), I can't imagine how you'd treat me if it was a repair. All after you rescheduled the first time. Firestone's website takes appointments until 6 pm. I'm definitely looking for better customer service!

UPDATE: they ended up giving me the refund and honored my frustrations, and I am very grateful. Grant worked everything out for me me. Still not happy with how my truck was diagnosed but end of the day they made it right which is what matters. "I'm writing this review to express my disappointment with the service I received for the engine diagnosis for my truck. During its time in the shop, I felt like it wasn't truly worked on. Their “master tech” couldn't provide a solid diagnosis, failing to identify the misfire in my cylinder. Instead, they seemed to resort to guesswork, and assured me they had there “master tech” on it and said my compression was good and couldn’t find anything wrong with the cylinder, didn’t even try to test anything else, so I grab my vehicle and start to drive home and boom my oil pressure goes down to 0 and check engine lights but they didn’t find anything??? Now another problem that wasn’t there before arrives. They said they drove it, what around the parking lot? So I take it back and the next morning they promised to look at it again and another “master tech” apparently watched the other mechanic and he did everything incorrectly and they are deeply sorry and he will be reprimanded and put back through training? So now come to find out I do have a bad compression in the cylinder and the other “master” mechanic didn’t do his job right? So now I don’t know who to trust or believe, my business is no longer welcome here, they have mechanics who are just guessing for there diagnostics and then just gonna say I have a possible Bent valve after saying they couldn’t really find anything wrong, what kind of diagnosis is that! There just guessing and can’t actually find the problem but sure enough they charged me for it and couldn’t offer me a refund or discount, as a customer, I’m in desperate need of vehicle repair with the holidays being here soon, it doesn't inspire confidence. Initially, I was told there was nothing wrong and that all cylinders had good compression, yet the underlying issue remained unresolved and was just lied to by a previous mechanic. This lack of a clear, accurate diagnosis and the feeling that the problem wasn't properly addressed has left me very dissatisfied. They just said we gave you the second diagnostic free due to inconvenience and sure enough we will be handling our previous mechanic who gave you wrong information, well I sure hope it would be free because of that! Especially having there mechanic literally do nothing right and tell me wrong information, I’m requesting a full refund I just spent over a 100 dollars for them to do guesswork and have certain mechanics that don’t know know what there doing, how do I even trust it was done right the second time if they got guys back there who are supposedly “master techs” I was lied to and very upset, I will be calling corporate and make sure this is handled fairly.

Arrived to my appointment early. Was told it would take 45 min to one hour. Took almost two hours. When I checked to see why it was taking so long I was told they had to wait for a bay Hmmm…I was the first one there, and I had an appointment. When I asked a second time I was told the oil filter was out of stock and they had to order it. Hmmmm…again. It’s a Ford F-150

Traveling last Saturday to our son's basketball game at Muskegon high school, and a hose broke on our SUV. We were close to Firestone and pulled in. At first they didn't have a bay to look at it, but Andrew was so kind and said he would look at it in the parking lot. That's when he found that is was a hose that broke. He was able to find the hose, and fixed while we went to our son's game, and picked it up after. We didn't miss a beat. We truly appreciate him helping us as we worried we would have to leave it over the weekend. Excellent customer service! Thank you Firestone & Andrew!

Went in for brake job. Took 2hrs to have 1 hr inspection started, then sat for another 2hrs to get notified on what service was recommened. Finally received fixed auto after another 2hrs. If you like sitting around with time to spare this is your place, otherwise keep clear. also if calling for appointment don't bother. Was told that if you can't come in person your not worth the effort.

Where do I start okay.. So I took my truck on a Saturday for a scheduled appt was told it would take a few hrs for the diagnostic. Called and was told they are trying to figure out what’s wrong with my vehicle another day goes by getting the run around again come to find out my car hasn’t even been started on.. then we finally get diagnostic move forward to the company ordering the part day before yesterday was told the part was in now today being told they are tracking the part. The lack of communication between establishment and customer is terrible. No one ever really seems to know whats really going on . I’m just over this whole experience never again. I’m coming out of a 1k+ to get my vehicle fixed and this is my only mode of transportation they literally are playing with my lively hood without a care.

Grant was so helpful and looked around and got me a great price on new tires and they put them on right then.I am very happy with that place and will go back to check into brakes. Warning!!!!!! If you’re a woman please read before going!! Worst service EVER! Guy in the front told me I couldn’t have my new tires on the back they had to be on the front. Wouldn’t have the mechanic fix it. Then charged me $68 for labor after I was quoted a completely different price over the phone. Mechanic that actually worked on my vehicle was super sweet very nice and concerned guy. But the “salesman” up front was a know it all that didn’t know anything had my father go with he only talked to him because every time I asked a question he would cut me off and said he had to look it up first. Took 3 hours to install 2 tires that were not rotated. And yes I had an appointment I didn’t walk in. I called back because they were doing an inspection and he just kept saying it’s not done yet 3 hours later still wasn’t done. Told the guy when I dropped the car off what I needed him to have the mechanic look at the front end. there was no communication from the front to the back. The older guy in the front was more concerned about what the tablet read the finding other things wrong like my brake fluid was bad then after I looked at my dad and said that’s weird you just flushed that before winter he said oh I meant your antifreeze is low!!!!! He had to have the mechanic actually drive my car because they never looked at what I asked him to have the mechanic look at after jacking the car back up and looking they found the problem but the guy from the front was more worried about my battery than the lower arm joints that went bad. To the older guy in the front when a woman comes in know she is not stupid. I took my father so he could pick me up and ask some other questions I might have forgotten. You had no idea what he was talking about and every time I asked you a question you said I don’t know I have to put it in the computer. I called around to tire change place and every one of them said new tires go on the back. I wasn’t asking I was telling you to put the new ones in the back and you wouldn’t. I will never go to this place again and I will take a day off to go anywhere else to have work done on my vehicle. And I will tell everyone not to go there it is a scam. Sad part is the mechanic was super nice and caring. He did miss the problem first but that’s because of the communication from the front to the back. Even had the nerve to tell me after I watched him go outside and yell at the mechanic, that the communication was electric not verbal for the inspection information had to go back and forth from the bay back to the front. Also the car was mine not my father’s so he didn’t need to see the battery level I did and you never showed me just the man next to me. I have never felt so frustrated in all my life. The $3,150.53 that you quoted me is going to be spent anywhere else but with your business.

Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I had gotten work done on my car at the Firestone in Grand Rapids (where I live). I was in Muskegon for the day when the check engine and oil lights went on in my car. Brought it to this location and they went above and beyond to take care of my issue. They got it in the bay almost immediately (just a few hours before close), coordinated with the Grand Rapids location, and had outstanding communication throughout the entire process. I ended up having it towed back to GR (there was an installation error on their end) and this location even helped me connect with a tow. Grant the store manager was a lifesaver and the other technicians who worked on my car were also great. Cannot thank them enough!

Had an appointment to get new tires mounted on at 12:20. I got there a few minutes early and waited until 3:30 for them to tell me they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have the correct machine. When I got home I looked at my brand new wheel that I had and it was all scratched up. They tried 2 of my wheels and they are both scratched. Very bad service and even worse they scratch new wheels out of the box.
