I brought my 2006 Volvo S40 here after hearing a noise from the rear end. After inspecting my car, the manager came out and let me know that my rear brake rotors had been warped and it was causing the noise I was hearing. They didn't have the part in stock at the store, but one of the techs was kind enough to drive up to the local auto parts and get the part within the hour and get me back on the road. 8/8 would take my car here again!

This is the second time I’ve had my yearly inspection done here and I will definitely return. I have also recommended to others. Service was prompt, thorough, and everyone was extremely courteous.

"Excellent service! It's not just talk – I experienced it firsthand. There was a misunderstanding with a price, but show you how God works. I spoke with this guy he truly understands customer service. He met me with some breathing room and got the job done quickly. I Highly recommend this Firestone location!"

Over the past two years the quality of service has gone from reliable to careless. The service now feels superficial, with little interest in understanding or resolving anything beyond the most obvious issues. Constant staff turnover has stripped away any sense of accountability or expertise. This is no longer a place I would trust with a vehicle.

Firestone provided exceptional service; specifically, Manager Will and mechanic Blane demonstrated expertise and a proactive approach to assisting me. The receptionist was also very pleasant, although I did not obtain her name. I plan to return and highly recommend Firestone.

I have used Firestone at Allen ( McDermott) often over the last 4 yrs for multiple vehicles. Many times I have been a walk-in customer and still in most scenarios I have got my car back for general servicing needs in 2-3 hours timeframe. Welcoming staff and generally prices are comparable.

I dropped my car off at this Firestone location today (Sunday) at 12 PM to have my flat tire replaced. I was quoted 1.5–2 hours for the service, which was reasonable, so I left my vehicle and planned my day accordingly. By 3:35 PM, over 3.5 hours later, I still had not received a single update. When I finally called to check on the status, I was informed my car hadn’t even been started. The receptionist was dismissive and condescending when I expressed my frustration, telling me I could “just come pick it up and take it elsewhere”—completely disregarding the fact that at that point it was nearly closing time, and I had no other option on a Sunday. What’s worse is that I was initially told I was “next” when I dropped my car off. The excuse given later was that they had “too many walk-ins” and “only one technician,” but this was never communicated to me when I dropped off the car. Being understaffed is not the customer’s responsibility—it’s poor management. Accurate time estimates and honest communication are basic expectations in customer service. Firestone advertises their “Right On Time” policy, promising that if a vehicle isn’t ready when promised, they stand behind it. This was clearly not upheld today. Their lack of transparency caused a major inconvenience—I lost my only day off stuck at home without transportation, unable to run errands, simply because this shop could not be upfront or accountable. When I finally spoke to the manager, he told me they would “look at my car in 30 minutes and call me to let me know if it was repairable,” even though I had already clearly stated I wanted a new tire when I dropped it off at 12 PM. This felt like nothing more than stalling and giving me the runaround. Unfortunately, after reading through their one-star reviews, this appears to be a pattern. Many customers report the same issues: inaccurate wait times, lack of communication, and excuses about not having enough technicians. And each time, Firestone responds with the same generic copy-and-paste apology—claiming they value customers and asking them to email, but never addressing the root problems. It’s clear from their own review history that accountability and improvement are not priorities here. Overall, this experience was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and a direct violation of the service standards they claim to uphold. I would never recommend this location—especially to women—as it’s clear they do not prioritize honesty, accountability, or respect for their customers’ time.

We dropped our ford focus off after the car shutting off and not starting. They first called and said it was one thing that was around $300 so we said yes, then they called again and saying it might not have been that it was something else, so another $300. After the “fixed” the car once again it shut off while driving (with my kids in the car). Luckily there was someone who was able to help us move the car. He was a maniac. We told him what fire stone had just fixed and he looked at it and apparently the neutral thermal on our battery was loose. We took it backwards to Firestone one last time and they looked over and said everything was fine. Less than 48 hours later car shutting off in the middle of a highway. Would not recommend if you care about the safety of your family.

They were fine except that they told me my engine and cabin air filters were "!! DIRTY !!", and I know they didn't look at them. Both are nearly new. I changed them myself recently and looked at them after. I believe they say this to everyone with more than 30k miles, so buyer beware. Same with other service recommendations (alignment, fluid changes, etc.) - all are mileage based. Otherwise it was a fine oil change. They just their credibility, so I will ignore their service recommendations.

I want to give a huge thank you to the team at Firestone Complete Auto Care for going above and beyond when it really mattered. Another location had done an oil change and unfortunately did not fasten the skid plate properly. It was dragging underneath the car and making a very loud noise. My girlfriend was driving with my daughter in the car and didn’t feel safe continuing like that. I called this Firestone right as they were closing, explained the situation, and without hesitation they let her come in after closing time to take care of it. They secured and removed the skid plate, made sure the car was safe to drive, and didn’t charge us a single dime. The level of care, understanding, and professionalism they showed—especially with my family’s safety involved—meant a lot to us. Very grateful for their help and outstanding customer service!

Worst experience from this center. First thing, I spent 2k for repairs and the work not done well, and they asked me to take CFNA credit card as there is a promotional offer of 6month with 0 APR. Card not received for 4 months and every month statement they charge 3.99 additional fee. At the end of 6 months over they are charing $249 as interest charged for the pending balance which generated from 3.99 ( Paper statement). Customer care service is really worst to help on this issue and Firestone mention its not their responsibility. Better get the work done from other place.

Extremely Disappointed – Unsafe, Incompetent Service I brought my 2017 Ford Expedition in for a routine "Car Care Package", only to receive it back with two lug nuts missing on one wheel and a broken lug nut on another. No one at the service desk mentioned this to me when I picked up the vehicle, and I didn’t discover it until I’d driven all the way to work on Highway 75. I regularly drive with my children in this car, so to learn that Firestone returned the vehicle in an unsafe condition without notification is absolutely mind-boggling. A tire coming off at highway speed or a wheel flying off in my neighborhood could easily cause serious injury, a multi-vehicle collision, or worse, a fatality. When I called customer service, I was told a “case file” was opened—but I haven’t received any follow-up call or email. I called again and was told they opened another "case file" and I would be contacted. Still nothing. That level of silence only compounds the frustration and concern. Looking back, I should have sensed a problem the moment they broke one of my wife's lug nuts and didn’t tell me. I took her 2017 Ford Expedition in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Instead, they quietly ordered a replacement part and had me wait over two hours without explanation. It’s clear something is very wrong at this location—whether it’s untrained technicians, faulty equipment, or broken communication between the shop and the front desk. They desperately need customer service training and a better system for alerting customers to safety issues. Every visit here seems to introduce a new set of faces behind the counter. I strongly recommend avoiding this Allen-McDermott Firestone and visiting their Allen-Stacy or Allen-Bethany locations instead. Safety and basic courtesy shouldn’t be this hard to find.

I had a great experience at Firestone! The staff was professional, friendly, and really took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle. They worked quickly but still paid attention to detail, and I never felt pressured into anything I didn’t need. Prices were fair, the waiting area was clean, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I left feeling confident about the service they provided, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance. Highly recommend this Firestone location!

The customer service was phenomenal!!! I even spoke to one of the mechanics that was working on my car and he explained every detail in laymen terms as to what needed to be done to avoid major repairs. I was so impressed and so excited to have had such a good experience, I told my friends & family about them. The manager even came out to introduce himself to me and that to me was the icing on the cake! Firestone is all over the US so you are never traveling alone. I would highly recommend the McDermott location in Allen,TX for your next vehicle check-up.

I did my wheel alignment and it was completed by Daniel within an hour after I dropped it off. Fast, thorough, no upsale hassles. Courtesy inspection looked all good too. I highly recommend coming to this location.

Leaving a 5 star review for outstanding service above and beyond. My battery died at the Kroger in Allen, just minutes away from firestone. The manager Will walked with me to my vehicle and gave it a jump at no cost. I then drove my vehicle over and purchased a battery same day. That is customer service at its finest. Thank you for the assist.Will. I really appreciate it.

I have been going to Firestone for over 3 years now. Every single one I've gone to has been professional, understanding and thorough. They never try to scam me! I trust them with my car. Last week for the first time I went to another auto shop, they said it would cost 2000-2500 to fix my car. Ended up being $127 at Firestone. And the credit card is very appreciated! Thank you all for what you do.

I highly recommend Firestone for quality work at very reasonable prices. My vehicle is 10 years old, and well maintained. Despite its age, it performs like a champ so I won't compromise on preventive maintenance. I opted to use Firestone for new shocks and struts and the team did not disappoint. I can feel the difference and wow! Thanks Mariah and team for the exceptional service!!!
