I have taken 5 cars over the past five years to Aloha Auto. They had my trust until recently when they were working on my 2015 Range Rover Sport. They were initially supposed to change one of the parking sensors and ended up changing the wrong one. At this point they realized they would have to remove the entire rear bumper cover to replace the correct sensor but instead they chose to do things their way resulting in a broken plastic weld. From here they simply shoved a blue shop towel behind the sensor in an attempt to hold it in place and called me to come and pick the vehicle up. I went home and immediately realized what they had done and returned to the shop within the hour where Amir the owner, accused me of damaging the sensor and placing the towel there. I believe that Amir, Moe the front desk manager and their lead tech were all aware of what was happening and tried to cover up the mistake instead of handling the issue properly and professionally. The only positive thing about Aloha Auto is how relaxed they are about state inspections. They will inspect and pass your vehicle regardless of how dark the windows are or how illegal the exhaust system is.

My car battery died a block away and I walked to this location, where Landon offered to drive me and my brother back with a battery jumper. He jumped my car and we were on our way, without even charging us! This location is the epitome of customer service and I commend Landon for his selfless efforts, helping us from being stranded for a long time. Go here!

First thing first, I was referred to this place by my sister as the best place for auto customer service and repair. And I went there , she was correct. I met with Steve and he came to my house with the rifht tools,given my battery terminal wasn't in good condition, car was undriveable.He fixed it in no time. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. Kudos to Steve and his team.

I took my van a couple days ago due to my brakes making noise. I think the Mechanics name was Aim...Anyways he drove it around parking lot and said "Your good just dirt. You will know when you need new brakes" Also I asked him questions about Maintenance on my Vehicle. I've been coming to this place for a couple years. All the mechanics up there are down to earth and not trying to rip you off

I am merely stating the facts, and the readers can judge for themselves. On March 20, 2024, I went to the shop to repair a coolant leak. (Before the coolant leak, the vehicle was functioning perfectly, and the engine check light had not turned on.) The shop quoted me $1,422, and we finally agreed on a cash payment of $1,200 for the repair. After the coolant leak was fixed, I drove the vehicle back to my apartment, and the engine check light came on. Since this old car had experienced similar situations before, where the engine check light would turn off after a few days of driving, I didn’t pay much attention to it. However, this time, the engine check light remained on, and the engine's condition worsened. The first weekend after I picked up the car from the repair shop, I found a note on my windshield from someone expressing interest in buying my car. On October 11, 2024, I went to another repair shop to have the engine inspected, and they discovered that the ventilation hose was broken. I suspect it was intentionally cut. I didn’t proceed with the repair; instead, I used dry vent tape to connect the ventilation hose myself, and the engine check light turned off automatically.

Br aware!!! If you are a female....They told my friend that drives a Toyota corolla that they need rear shoes and drums. The car has low miles on it. I took the drums off and the rear shoes was at 4/32 ...5/32 barely worn... all!it! needed! was a clean and adjust.$10.00 for 2 cans of brake clean... They barely drive the car, yet alone use the Emergency brake. Why would they sell them rear brakes?????

I don’t ever leave reviews lol but this team and shop is terrific. I was told by another shop I would need a whole new tire to fix a leaky plug in my tire. I called aloha and the next morning they took care of me not only quickly (I didn’t have an appointment) but without a charge!! I left feeling taken care of and without a drip of anxiety. I recently visited Aloha Auto Repair for a second opinion after another shop (during an aligment) claimed I had dire suspension issues that would cost a fortune to fix. From the moment I chatted with Amon and then Steve on the phone, I was impressed with their service. They fit me in same day for a free suspension inspection, and the staff took the time to document their findings with pictures and video. This was super helpful for understanding what was actually going on with my car. While they pointed out a few small areas that would eventually need attention, they reassured me that it wasn’t urgent and that I didn't need to replace anything right away. They not only saved me a significant amount of money, but their friendliness and professionalism made the experience even better. Steve and the team at Aloha have been fantastic to me, including being transparent and willing to help wherever they could. I initially went for a pre-purchase inspection on a used car, after my previous car had been totaled. Although I was in a time crunch, they were transparent and honest in showing me what was going on with the vehicle, and what the timeline would be for getting different components replaced. They never tried to push a sale and have been willing to work with people on pricing and components to make sure the work gets done. Cars are a big investment, so it's important to make sure they're good to go. I've been extremely discerning when it comes to what auto shops I would take my vehicle to, I often opt to buy the components and do the work myself, but there are some jobs and times where that isn't reasonable and you have to take it to a shop. Aloha is #1 on my list if I have to my vehicle anywhere for work. They've treated me with respect and understanding from the start, and I'm sure I'm not the exception.
