I'm sitting home in tears after paying $25 for a ride home. I TOOK MY Honda Odyssey to FIRESTONE for a SIMPLE OIL CHANGE...AFTER THE OIL CHANGE WAS COMPLETE The Mechanic Informed me I needed TO BUY A BRAND NEW OIL PAN BECAUSE MY OIL PAN PLUG WAS STRIPPED HE ADMITTED THERE WAS NOT A LEAK COMING FROM THE PLUG AND IT CAME OFF FIND, BUT WHEN HE PUT IT BACK ON IT WAS STRIPPED AND IF I DROVE IT THE PLUG WOULD COME OUT AND THE OIL WOULD LEAK OUT I WAS TOLD TO TAKE MY CAR (WHICH I'HAD ALREADY PAID FOR BECAUSE THEY HAD TO COUNT THE CASH REGISTER) BUT I DIDN'T BECAUSE THEY MESSED THE PLUG UP THE CASHIER CALLED ANOTHER TECH AND HE ADMITTED THAT IF THE PLUG WAS STRIPPED HE WOULD HAVE KNOW WHEN HE TOUCHED IT AND HE WOULD HAVE REFUSED TO DO THE OIL CHANGE IM WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION AND I HAD A TRIP SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW MORNING TO SEE MY GRANDSON PLAY FOOTBALL OUT OF TOWN ISREAL OR STORE OWNER PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL MY CAR IS NOT DRIVABLE IM UNABLE TO REST.

Dropped off my vehicle at 1030 after a visible bolt like screw was stuck in the driver's side front tire, a possible leak coming from the rear driver's tire (full set bought from Firestone in August), and an alignment (lifetime). At 5 p.m., I was told the tech did not see any issues with tires, and it may have been a rock stuck in the tire, which is no longer there. The next day, both tires were still losing air, and another visual inspection showed the bolt was still in the tire. Took it back for them to fix the issue and was told they had a skeleton crew with the earliest they could get me in was three days later. I was in disbelief. I've been a loyal customer of Firestone since 2007 and have trusted the company to service every vehicle I've owned while in the military and recommended the company to everyone I knew. This particular service was the straw that broke the camel's back. In my opinion, it was disgraceful and further stained my perception of the brand and voided my future recommendations to family, friends, and other service members. What makes it so bad is that every Firestone in this area has provided the same bottom tier mechanic service, and I thought at least the one on a military base would be different. Either they are misdiagnosing issues, which end up causing repeat visits and extra cost because of uneeded services, or they're kicking the can down the road because it's a warranty claim and evidently don't get paid from them. I've started limiting my service request from this company outside of warranty issues after repeatedly receiving such poor service. It was better for me to perform the work myself at that same level, if not better, or go to the dealership. I will never use or recommend Firestone to anyone unless it's to receive free air. I ended up going to a local used tire shop five minutes away to pay $35 for them to fix both tires in under 20 minutes.

Absolutely horrible location. They have failed in the customer service realm with me twice now and there will not be a third. The first instance was related to an alignment for my car. I made the appointment days in advance then the morning of my appointment after checking in I get told them can not perform the alignment on my vehicle due to how low it sits to the ground. Mind you the vehicle is factory height, so they could have contacted me well in advance to advise their alignment machine couldn't accommodate my vehicle. I was referred to another location who performed the alignment with no issues. Then this past Wednesday I walk in seeking a tire repair service and already had the wheel removed from the vehicle. I was abruptly told no not today not with their schedule. It literally takes 10-20 mins to repair a tire and was not accommodated at 11am in the morning. Went out the gate and stopped at Discount Tire who repaired the tire on the spot and was in and out in less than 25 mins. However, I guarantee if I came in stating I need some vehicle repair that they would make a few hundred or thousands on they wouldn't have turned me away. So again definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend anyone to them.

I was on TDY in Jackson last month and brought my car in for overheating. The man at the front counter was less than friendly, this didn't really matter to me, all I wanted was a good fair price and for the issue to be fixed properly since I had a long drive home in a couple weeks. They definitely were trying to charge for things that were not even relevant to the issue. My husband called a few other places and we found a 600 dollar cheaper place in Columbia. "That's my mechanic did an excellent job" and had a military discount. My cost went from a 1900 estimate at Firestone, to 1300 at that's my mechanic and it drives great. The older man that helped me said oh well it's because your radiator is a difficult one and the price of labor. Seemed upset that I went elsewhere but if you're located on post you should be trying to help the service members not take advantage of them during a difficult time. Don't go here, get service elsewhere

I had to get a tire replaced and an oil change before going out of town. Mr Gary and Mr Bryan were outstanding. Bryan checked me in this morning and was helpful and understanding. The government shutdown has affected my income drastically. Mr Gary helped me with getting a credit card approved and helping me take advantage of all of the discounts that come with it. He was actually the best part of my day after getting bad news. You never know when a smile will make someone’s day a little brighter. They both brightened up my day today!

Good if you need tires. The worst for everything else. I took my Jeep there for a time up. That lead to a series of problems and mishaps and leaks that eventually forced me to go to the dealership for repairs. I should have known when the mechanic told me he had been working 15 hour shifts for 12 days straight that I was not going to get the best repair and I did not. The lost to replace the oil cap! I drove around 5 days before noticing. 24 hours After the tune up, the check engine light came on the windshield wiper fluid reservoir cracked and the engine developed 3 leaks. I started driving in 1984. Never had so many “coincidences “ happen after one event.
