Left my car so they could check a tire for a leak. Instead of actually doing the inspection, they came back with ‘we don’t recommend it, tread’s too low, you should just buy a new tire.’ Straight-up lazy and nothing but a pressure sales tactic. Won’t be coming back. Neither should you.

Called to ask what the cost was to change my tire pressure sensors for my car. I told him i already had the parts. The person on the phone said they would have to see and made an appointment to go in and do it. I got off work early to go in and when I asked the guy at the front desk they told me they couldn't do that with out of store parts. I said I'd pay for the labor. But the guy said they couldn't. Complete waste of time and getting lied to by either the guy and the front desk or on the phone was a terrible experience.

I had 2 flat tires on my motorhome at 1:15am Laborday Monday. I spent all day Saturday morning at a discount in Brownsville, Texas after encountering a very rough ride around 11pm on Friday night on my way to camp in south Padre Island KOA (600 miles from our home in North Texas). My tire monitor showed 65psi on 3 tires (one front tire showed 70 psi) and no indication of a blown/flat tire. Discount started taking all rear tires off, and found 1 tire with an issue on the inside drivers side. After checking for balance, Discount replaced the bad tire, balanced all tires, and replaced the valves stems on the remaining tires, then put the remainder of the good tires back on the motorhome. My MH was parked at the campground the remainder (2:30pm) of Saturday, and all day Sunday in the camp site. Labor day Monday morning (cooler, slow) I try to avoid the heat and traffic on my 600 mile drive home, and leave a 12:15am. No one open that early, and Discount not open on Labor day. I figured I could drive 65 mph on the way home, especially with no traffic, but after only a total of 40 miles later, I hear and odd noise, and pull over to the side of the highway. I discovered that both tires on the passenger side are now flat. Later it was found that the valve stems had failed on these 2 tires (that is 3 failed valve stems on 4 different tires). I had to have my 10,500 class C motorhome towed to on a a discount tire in Harlequin, Texas, and looking at a long wait until Tuesday morning before Discount opened. I looked at tire centers in the area, and found Firestone “Americas home for tire service” was open at 7am. I didn’t believe it, and I called and spoke with Romero (manager). Not only are they open on Labor Day, they had the replacement tire I needed in stock. I just had to get my motorhome the 3+miles to their service center. I walked over to Lowe’s home improvement, purchased a compressor that runs on 120v AC, and found I could still put air into the outside tire to 65 psi (60 recommended, but tires max was 90). No air would go into the inside dually. I slowly made it to Firestone, and found them friendly, understanding, and the young crew (Jaime, David, Juan) was all about teamwork. They pulled the ruined tires, and installed heavy duty valve stems on the new tires. They got me back on the road within a few hours…my wife and I Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

EXCELLENT service and communication during the entire process!!! Romeo worked with my warranty company and made everything super easy while I was without my vehicle. Thanks to Moe my A/C is blowing cold air again! Juan answered the phone on more than one occasion & when taking my payment he reminded me of the warranty I have now with the compressor and radiator, while having a good sense of humor. I need to have my trunk actuator replaced and I am definitely coming back because I dont feel taken advantage of .. as MOST shops do when they see a girl coming in. My car had an engine issue, I brought it to Firestone and had them inspect to see what was the problem. They found that the engine bearings had basically disintegrated which caused a seizure . They provided all the info so I can provide it to the dealership. I recommended the Firestone team to service your vehicle. Mo was the technician that check my vehicle. I had my car towed in late Saturday to Firestone, when it wouldn't turn on. In less than a hour, Romeo was great to update me a new battery was needed and he would have the service team review any callouts as they worked on the car. I needed new tires and a few other callouts to get the car safely on the road. I got email updates on cost and recommendations for future car services from Romeo. Romeo was great through the process, and I feel they had the best interest for me... I will definitely be going back for oil changes and stop going to my dealership...

Staff is good and serviceable but the internet or server seem to be an issue more often than not. Been to this specific store 3 times for different vehicles and today it was the second time where services and front desk are affected by it. Taking longer than needed for customers to vet going.

Worse scam joint I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Had an appointment for 8am. on a recent Saturday morning for two new rear tires. I ask them to check the LF tire for a slow leak. Service advisor said tire can’t be fixed and I need two new front tires. They got the hood up and proceeded to tell me I needed an additional $1100 worth of work. I had an appointment for 11 am. 40 miles away. I told them to install the new rear tires only and get me on the road. 3 hrs. To get the new tires installed. I took the car to another tire shop where they said they could fix my tire and there was no need to replace them. The tire is fixed and no problems. There’s more to the story but just stay away from that Firestone place in Harlingen, Tx My car didn’t need everything they said it did. I recently had it fully serviced by a GM dealer in Harlingen and they said everything was fine. It was in for an oil change….. and would recommend rear tires within a year. And that was 8 months prior. Unhappy and will not recommend Firestone.

The service is subpar. I had an appointment scheduled. I called earlier to let them know I had an appointment that I’ll be coming for my alignment so there was no problems. I arrived and asked about my wait time and was told my vehicle will be serviced next. Another customer that was a gentleman told me that won’t be the case because he also had an appointment for 12 pm and waited over 4 hours before his vehicle was serviced. I’ve been sitting here almost 2 hours and my vehicle hasn’t even been touched. This type of service is unacceptable because that defeats the purpose of making appointment if one has to wait over 4 hours just for alignment. This establishment needs to be better.
