I came into this shop distraught because of an issue that had absolutely nothing to do with them. The beautiful lady clerk and the mechanic both listened to my story and helped me as if I had been someone they had known for years. 🫶 Instead of charging me for something that I didn’t really need and making a few bucks off of me and sending me on my way… They were completely honest with me, checked out what I needed and told me I did not need what I came there for. Then to top it off, they didn’t even charge me🙏☺️ Truly blessed to still see truly honest and caring people..exactly what the world needs more of. Thank you so much guys🙏

I highly recommend this place. We had a tire that was going bad and we went to another store Walmart and they said they had the tire, but they didn’t have time to put it on because they were busy. They told us they would hold onto the tire and we will come back the next day and they will take care of us. They didn’t so I called Firestone. , They had Our tire, so we went there and got it. They were fast, friendly and amazing customer service… And their prices were amazing cheaper than Walmart. I will be going back there again to get the rest of my tires done and anything else.. Firestone on State Street and their workers are really friendly, nice and fast. We were out of there in 15 minutes for one tire.. Very happy with their service❤️

Huge THANKS to Grant and Kay at the State Street location who were completely helpful when I stopped without an appointment while in from out of town because my tire sensors came on. Grant actually stepped away from his desk to check and add air to my tires himself, and with such professionalism and kindness that I left wishing i had been able to give them more business. So I've since looked over all the services they provide and feel confident that I'll be returning should I be in the area again and have need... And based on how positive my experience was I otherwise also feel confident in recommending others in the area take advantage of all they offer; it seems to me they completely care about their work and go above and beyond with customer service besides.

Another final review update since they apparently put me on a do not serve list without notice back in November after I requested them to check their faulty work and they refused to even look at the car today which lead to a handful of words that get you trespassed from businesses. The wheel squealing I told them they never fixed has now turned into a clunking sound every time I hit the slightest bump. Crazy how when they charged me for the repairs they clearly stated were required to fix my original issue, it didn't fix the issue. Now 3 months later after they refused to recheck their work in the middle of November when I asked the vehicle is all kinds of messed up. Kay is absolutely useless, I've never seen a manager with less of a backbone and ability to call out her employees and fix a customer repair issue the moment it happens. Can't say I had the pleasure to meet the Technician Gerald who supposedly worked on my car, but I'm sure he works with the same half brained attitude as Kay considering the 2 repairs he upcharged and put in for me never fixed the issue and eventually lead to failure, issues always stems from bad management and Firestone on State St. is the perfect example of that incompetence. Don't go here for anything even as slightly complicated than a fluid swap, they would probably mess that up. If they messed up your car, expect the only way to get compensation to be through court. Original review: Came in last Saturday morning around 9 to get my car worked on to find the cause of a squeeling noise I heard while driving which I thought to be brakes or a wheel bearing. A guy who I thought was the technician working on my car called back on a unknown Firestone number I didn't have saved in my contacts about a hour or two after I dropped it off and was telling me the main cause was my shocks being bad and it needed an alignment, to which I said "oh so it wasn't an issue with brakes or wheel bearings?" He said that it was not. I then asked if the alignment was necessary because I was already tight on cash for the repair and he said he was going to check with the technician, he came back a minute or so later and said that the alignment was necessary to fix the problem I came in for. Gave me the price of repairs and also mentioned how I should get my lug nuts replaced because they were swollen but to just bring some in from a parts store to save on cash which I thought was a nice gesture. I let them know to do the repairs if the shocks and the alignment were the main cause of the squeeling noise and they did it to my knowledge. After about a day or 2 having my car back driving to and from work I noticed I could faintly hear the noise still, I brushed it off and figured I'd give it a few days to be sure and it's now almost a week later and the sound is almost worse when I start driving to work in the morning and back home after work. Needless to say I'm not happy and it feels like they did a bunch of unnecessary unauthorized repairs to make a sale that did not fix the root problem I came in for. I spent almost my entire bank balance at the time and put $500 of debt on my credit card and my main issue I came in for was never taken care of. I've contacted Firestone online support and I'd prefer to be contacted by email from this location instead of by phone regarding this issue because I already have a lack of trust for car repair salesmen and that has been amplified to where I feel the need to keep records of what is going on for my own financial safety.

Horrible! horrible! horrible! treatment by the store manager Miss Kay! If she is working stay away! Very rude and eager to charge you as much as she can. She acts like she is god and empowered to make your life miserable. I spoke with a very nice gentleman by the name of Grant the day before taking my vehicle in to have work done. He was very informative and helpful. Spent a lot of time with me on the phone figuring out what parts were needed and the amount of time it would take to fix my vehicle. We made an appointment for 8am the following morning. He told me he wouldn’t be there when I arrived due to a meeting he had. Upon arriving, I walked in and said good morning to Miss Kay as I was walking towards her. She didn’t smile or say good morning back and dove right into being rude. “What is your name, why are you here” oof! I thought, this is already starting out rough. I gave her my info and then she decided to delete everything that Grant and I had discussed and changed my order. I asked her why she was doing that and her response was “ this is my store and I make the rules” She said that I didn’t have that conversation with Grant and that she is writing up other things that caused me to spend more money. After many words and arguing she told me she was not performing the work on my car and said “get out of my store!” I asked her why and she refused to answer me. Just kept telling me to “GET OUT!” I told her I was going to call corporate and she said go ahead. They won’t do anything about it. I threatened to write a bad review but she didn’t care. My father pulled up minutes after I was in the store and as I was walking out he seen how upset I was so he decided to go in and try to talk to her. She also kicked him out. Was rude to him and told him “ This is MY store and you WILL leave now before I call the police”. Wow! Mind blown over the treatment we were given. I then called the Firestone on Bay road and talked to two very nice gentleman by the name of Ethan and Craig. They were very apologetic and told me they would get my car in as son as they could. I guess I’m not the only one that has problems with the store manager Miss Kay. They have heard many other stories about how she has treated their customers. I’m a big fan of Firestone! Love the company! They have always treated me right. But after this experience with Miss Kay, I will never go back to that store on State street as long as she is there and will tell other people to do the same. It’s so sad to see someone treat people the way she did. It doesn’t look good for the great company of Firestone.
