I received a bid from this company to replace a rear window in my daughter's car. I live out of town so I called this company and set up the repair. First of all, do not give your credit card to this company before they do the work. I was given a price which i believed the cost would be and it ended up costing $80 more. When I tried to talk to the manager he did not want to give me any refund and argued with me the entire time about what a good reputation he has and was offended that I told him he had taken advantage of this situation. He did offer to take the window out of the car (like as if that would solve anything). He twice changed his story about the fact that I was charged tax which at one point he said that was an extra 9.95% and then he said the credit card charge added an extra 3.95%. Before he did the repair he did not discuss any of this with me and told me twice the price would be $329. I was charged $409. He stated my daughter left a tip which also added to the price. She stated they asked for a tip. So if they come to fix your windshield at your place be prepared to be asked for a tip. Of course what was she to say? Very misleading. At least he could have refunded the other 50 or 60 dollars extra. This owner/manager was very unprofessional. When he offered to take the window out of the car at the beginning of our conversation, any hope of a remedy or small refund definitely flew out the window. I have a very small business and I take credit cards. I pay a small fee for this but I don't charge my clients for this service. Never again "Fix that Chip" and get your ethics straightened out about how to run a business.

Appreciated first off that these folks answered their phone on a Saturday afternoon. Loved that they came to my workplace to replace my windshield that Monday after, meaning I didn't have to take off work, go to shop or wait more than a day and a half. I called them at 9:30am about a rock hitting my windshield and was asked if I could meet the technician down the road at a gas station. Within 20 minutes, the technician was working on my windshield and within 5 more minutes, the chip was repaired. The technician was extremely friendly and professional. On the way home, bam, rock chip so I called and spoke with Danny around 6:30 and asked if he could fix it the next day but it was already spreading. I did a price comparison among several local glass companies and Danny came in the best. He was also able to come to my house to fix it within 24 hours. There was a complication, but he took care of it with another team of techs and still met his original bid. We are so grateful for serving our family! This past repair was 11 months ago. This past week my daughter also had a rear window repair need. I priced among other companies again and sure enough Danny's Fix-a-chip was the best price. He got a glass in from Lake Charles and had it in first thing the next day. Lawrence, the tech who installed had to make several trips for different items (all appropriate trips) and always was professional, kind and knowledgeable in the business.
