My Subaru XV Crosstrek has high mileage and needed a wheel hub bearing assembly replacement. I've been to winwood fournet's a lot and they take care of me there, but this time I couldn't make it back because the damage was SO SEVERE. I was over at advance auto parts and searched around the immediate area (not too far to drive) to get pricing and read a bunch of reviews of these said shops... and I didn't feel like either; the techs were competent enough or reliable/honest enough to service my needs. I eventually landed on this GEM and boy am I glad I had a problem that day. This wonderful human being understood the predicament I was in and gave me his best price and boy was I shocked (in a good way)! The price was unbelievable. I brought it here and was able to get in and out faster than I could walk around the block! The price was so good I had to ask what his normal rate was because he did an amazing job. Once again, shocked I was - I thought the guy gave me at least $25-$50 off his normal pricing, but the discount was only about $10!!!!!! Y'all.... my jaw dropped. I cannot believe how reasonably priced, friendly, personable, attentive and SKILLED this man is. You can bet I will keep bringing my vehicle here and guarantee you won't be sorry either. I love that he's open until 6PM and also on Saturday's. I could sense the competency and reliability vibe with this business when I first spoke to him on the phone and I was right! THANK YOU P.S. - I just went back for a second time and he gave me excellent advice and a quick free diagnostic! I don't expect this, but thank you!

I called Son at 3:50 on a Saturday, he closes at 4. I was broke down in Lafayette and trying to get home to New Orleans. The radiator on my car busted. He gave me a number to a tow truck service and I had my car towed to his shop. He stayed until 7:30pm and was able to get my car repaired. It was very reasonable and done with great care. Highly recommend him and his shop.

I brought a 93 Accord in for an oil leak and a/c leak repair. I knew those issues would have cost thousands elsewhere, but Mr.Son and his team placed a temporary fix that I was happy with for under $1k. Was in town for baseball and hung up a plastic splash shield under my engine and pulled it loose. The push pins were missing so I couldn't put the panel back in place myself. I bought some push pins at an auto parts store that were somewhat close to right, but the car sits so low I struggled to see well enough get it all aligned and secured. The plastic splash shield would catch whenever I backed up, so I needed a fix quick. We saw Son's Auto Repair nearby and he was open on Saturday morning, so I pulled in. I explained what the issue was and showed him the pins I had bought. Those pins I had bought were really somewhat wrong for this application and were really for interior door panels. Fortunately Son had the right pins. He put the car on the lift and got everything back to right quickly. I both agreed that $20 fair for his time and 6 pins. Very fair, friendly and competent. Good guy.

This is the place to get your work done and reasonable price with a strong work ethic. They do not play around they will have a waiting line of work so you will not see conversation or hang outs they work till it is done. They have worked on my BMW/MBenz/Suburban and now my new Expedition. Hard to find parts ... bring them he will install. Will need a larger location soon. Brent LeBlanc

After calling multiple places in town to find somebody who can repair my Smart Car the representative at Son Auto Repair said they were willing to take a look at it and diagnose the problem. After finding out the radiator fan assembly was broken they went above and beyond to find the part at an affordable price. After the part was delivered they properly installed it and I haven’t had any further issues. They were polite and professional. Highly recommend!

No issues, no confusion, great people! Genuinely GREAT people. I had no idea my ex had taken my car there before and had again to help since we have kids and ive been in a tight spot with an ENORMOUS amount of repairs to be done. They quoted, we accepted, and a few days later got a call with grest news that the work was going to be L E S S than we were quoted. I felt valued, respected, and did not feel like I was taken advantage of. I almost had given up on my car honestly but the team here completed work that wouldve cost 3x the amount at another shop, did it for a great/fair price AND gave customer service that is unheard of anymore. (In my opinion, of course.) They have definitely been added as my go-to for my vehicle!

Brought in my 2012 Audi A7 for preventive repairs. Called 4 times ahead of arrival stating the repairs I needed and the parts I would bring (control arms replacement, front and rear strut replacement). We agreed on a shop charge of 5 1/2 to 6 hrs which I immediately paid upon arrival ($550). The next day they called asking for $950 saying it was because my car was a Prestige and had a sport suspension. Called my dealership who confirmed that was false. When I called and explained I was told they are already working on my car. When I asked to provide an explanation on the charge they provided me one stating their charges. We agreed on them not repairing my rear struts and completing the rest for $750. They only changed my lower control arms not upper like the charge stated and charged me for an alignment and only rotated my tires and never aligned my tires. When I brought it to a alignment shop they showed the car was never aligned and my CV axle is now leaking which I had to replace. If you care about your car go someplace else. If you need a simple repair like brake job or tire change I'm sure they are fine.

I called Sons the day of to see if they could fit me in and they told me to bring in the van right away. They finished the job in a few hours and charged a totally reasonable price. Honest, friendly and understanding people to do business with. They quoted me $500 less than Dave’s Care Care for my AC issues. Dave’s supposedly had fix the problem a month prior and charged me $700. A month later the AC did it again. Sons was able to find and fix the issue. AC is still running great. It was a big job. They even showed me the part that was cracked. I would do business with them again.

Brought my 85 Cadillac over there to get my rear main seal fix cause it was leaking ac redone had to be converted over and a tune up did in the process of doing all that he fixed the ac but my car started running hot he never fixed my rear main seal he changed and it still leaking he took my transmission down said my dent cable was messed up but my car was shifting fine before I brought it there so I know he damaged it so I had to buy a new one now it don’t shift right so now I have to spend more money on getting it adjusted right when I paid 2400 and some change and the car is still leaking and my car is running worst then when I brought it there stay away from here they don’t know how to work on old schools would be 0 stars if I could

Son’s squeezed me in and had my repairs done by the end of the day. They diagnosed the problem quickly then texted me a quote outlining the issues with a follow up call. I had a tire that needed air and they even aired it up. They were very nice as well.
