Great work done on my BMW M3. I purchased a 2001 M3 from BaT that had the paint cracking on the hood. Collin & team did their best, sanded it down, only to find out more filler than expected. Not giving up they kept prepping it. Painted/re-sanded it at least 4 times but it just wouldn't stick. Not to get into the technical details but the aluminum M3 hood needs a special sander/grinder to avoid contaminants to allow paint to adhere, the previous work contaminated it. Fix spent many hours and supplies on my hood and made it the best they could. Colin did say he'd paint a new hood for me at no extra cost, he took ownership of it since he estimated the work and said they could do it. I felt bad, but months later when I saved enough spare cash I bought a new hood, had it shipped to Fix and they delivered. Brand new hood, brand new paint and I am writing this months after, going through the AZ summer heat, and no problems! Thanks guys, good work!

I can’t say enough good things about Fix Auto in North Scottsdale! I recently had some collision damage fixed on my Mercedes GLC, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, which really put my mind at ease. Colin did an amazing job repairing the damage, and my car looks as good as new! The team was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with. It’s clear they truly care about their customers and the quality of their work. I am giving this shop one star solely because the actual repair work was well done. However, the experience overall was extremely disturbing and not something I would wish on anyone. The owner has a very short fuse and was extremely aggressive during our visit. While I understand everyone can have a bad day, his behavior crossed a line- he became so volatile that he early came to blows with a 70 years old man in the parking lot. We had to call the police. Be very cautious if you're considering this shop, the work does not outweigh the risk of an unpredictable and hostile interaction.

"Above and beyond" doesn't even do justice to how great an experience I had here. I was hit by a drunk driver 6 hours after purchasing a new car, and everything about the situation was a nightmare. Truly, the only good thing throughout the whole process was Colin and the staff at Fix Auto. The car looks just like new after the repairs, and I'd also like to mention that there were some weird sensor/computer issues with the vehicle that were unrelated to the accident, and Colin made sure those got fixed as well. I've driven the vehicle 6,000 miles in the past two and a half weeks, and it's been fantastic. If you're reading through collision shop reviews and wondering where to go, go here.

Fix Auto did an excellent job replacing and painting a new front bumper on my 2005 Toyota Highlander. They also did painting on the fenders and hood to match the new bumper and I am very pleased with the results! The work was completed on schedule and they worked with State Farm to receive payment. This is the third repair they have done for me in the past four months and all were excellent and reasonably priced. Colin Johnston is the manager and a pleasure to work with! Out of the dozens of repair shops in Scottsdale, I will continue to use Fix Auto.

I was referred by my dad to get my 2022 Honda Civic fixed after being hit on the driver's side. Due to my car having a wrap, we weren't sure how much damage there was to the car. BUT, Colin and team (and office dog, Ruby!) did an absolutely FANTASTIC job on the repair!! I've included before and after pictures. Not only was the repair incredible, the office staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, informative, and kept me up to date with text message updates while I was waiting for the repair. I was able to leave my rental car at the shop for Enterprise to pick up for me. They even took my car to the carwash before I drove home! Got rear ended a few weeks ago had the whole trunk and windshield broken. Luckily, I had such an easy repair process and the before and after pictures below show the hard work that was done. I’ve had this car going since high school and I’m so thankful I was able to get it fixed and have this running for as long as I can. The customer service and process was amazing. I had texts of when my car was received, half way through repairs and when I could come pick it up. Would highly recommend if you ever need any repairs.

We had our vehicle repaired at Fix Auto, North Scottsdale, Az following an accident. After checking with our insurance, doing a little research and phone calls, we decided to have Collin give us an estimate. He is very knowledgeable, informative and we felt very comfortable having Fix Auto do the repair. We were kept informed via texts over the 9 days and the repair is terrific. I was involved in an accident and took my vehicle to Fix IT Body Shop because it was a preferred shop through my insurance. The damage was purely cosmetic—there was no mechanical or structural damage. Before choosing them, I checked Google reviews and saw they had a 4+ star rating. My insurance company had my vehicle towed, and I spoke with Collin over the phone. During that conversation, I clearly stated that I did not want my front license plate mounted to the bumper, as the bumper was being refurbished. Collin agreed and told me the repair would take about one to two weeks. About a week and a half later, I was notified that my car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, the first thing I noticed was that the front license plate had been mounted to the bumper anyway. Collin apologized and said they would remove it and repaint the bumper. I also pointed out that the headlight seals were not sitting flush with the bumper and that the inner fender liner was not properly adjusted, leaving noticeable gaps. A few days later, when I returned to pick up my car, I noticed a visible paint chip under the driver‑side headlight. Once again, I had to leave my car for repairs. When I returned again, there was a visible crease in the paint near the fog light. After yet another repair attempt, the paint began cracking at the bumper mounting points, and I had to leave my car again. Eventually, Collin informed me that they would need to order a new bumper because the original could no longer be refurbished. When I picked up the car after the new bumper was installed, it initially looked good. However, I noticed that the weather stripping around the headlights was damaged and the inner fender liner was still not properly adjusted. Collin argued that the damage was due to the age of the car, but I explained that the headlights were less than four years old and were damaged during their repair process. At that point, he was dismissive and showed no concern. Additionally, my vinyl rails were damaged because the shop ran my car through a drive‑through car wash. Collin even complained that insurance companies do not pay to wash cars. The interior of my vehicle was left in terrible condition, and this was dismissed as being “a little dirty.” Ultimately, I had to take my car to another body shop, where these issues were fixed correctly the first time. I also had to replace my headlights due to the damage caused by Fix IT Body Shop. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Stay away.
